functionality of tilestack site on iPhone problem

thought I'd see how an iPhone-like stack would look & work on an iPhone .. Tilestack site works fine up to the time I actually bring up my stack .. then the stack page either doesn't respond at all to iPhone commands (eg scroll, zoom) or inputs (enter data and then click button for tilestack to use that data)... or it responds sometimes, or after a long delay.
Tried it on an iPhone simulator too.. same lack of stack-page responsiveness

cut and paste images from ChemDraw program

I am new to tilestack and not sure where to begin. Can someone tell me how to cut and paste an image from ChemDraw onto a tile?
ChemDraw is a program used to draw chemical structures.

Return characters?

Hey all. Longtime HC user trying to get some help in tilestack.

I'm confused at how return characters work in fields and buttons. For example, if I have a field with two lines:

foo
bar

and then put that field into a button, the return character between 'foo' and 'bar' is replaced with a space character. Is this intentional? Is there a way to circumvent this behavior?

Also, I notice that when I lock a field, the return characters are removed. Again, is there any reason this should be?

I have a HyperCard stack I'm trying to convert to TileStack, just for fun. It used to work like this:
- User can drag some buttons around
- User can copy the current card to a new card to leave the buttons in a different configuration
It was a nice simple way to maintain state automatically with the card metaphor.

However, I can't get
doMenu "Copy Tile"
doMenu "Paste Tile"
to work reliably. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it pastes whatever was on the clipboard last.

Any ideas?

Hello, I tried to make a single button with the example script code shown in this help page:

For some reason it does not accept the code, I can't figure out the problem. Maybe the syntax has changed and the help example did not get updated, any help is appreciated.

Playing mp3's

I am testing out the play command and I have a button that is instructed to play a sound from my website (http://www.etc...) and it plays the first few seconds and then stops. The mp3 is about 3MB.

Would uploading it as a resource help? I am trying to upload, but I am not sure if it is really uploading since there is no progress indication.

around is one of the reasons why it is such a great tool for small business .

For Database stacks created in Hypercard, the ease of shifting data (text) Some other features are especially vital for small business apps. These include the ability to print (to a standard printer or to create a fax or adobe doc) or to write to a text doc. To send correspondence to a client or colleague, print & fax and more lately email are all possible out of Hypercard. Email can be achieved by attaching a document created from Hypercard or by , in System 9, putting the text into clipboard (as a container) for pasting into your email compose field. My query is .. can, or will, we be able to achieve these export/mail functions in Tilestack using desktop or/and iPhone.

Odd intermitent error '_.j.toLowerCase'

I have a short script that sometimes, but not consistently, gives the error
[TypeError: Result of expression '_.j.toLowerCase' [undefined] is not a function.

I have no such function or text in my script. Any idea what could be causing this?

I tried to make a stack, that gets information about an artist from last.fm. But the Bio is sent as a HTML. Is it possible to formatt it like it should be, or to get it as plain text?

Fixed: Published Stacks that Get Stuck Loading

Hey everyone. I know some of you have published stacks that never get passed the loading screen. This was caused by a bug in our backend. That bug has now been fixed. To fix your stack, you just need to republish it.

I have "uploaded" my stack. But I don't see it. Where is it? The FAQ says it will be in the My Stacks "section". Where is that? Am I really that clueless? I can't find my stack....
