Cooking in Spanish

Kevin - Cara's Spanish II class assignment was to cook something while speaking entirely in Spanish. We captured all her steps on video. The best thing I can say about it was the cookies were delicious. haha

Travis' Baptism

Kevin - Our youth minister called us in the middle of the youth retreat and we thought for sure somebody was going to the emergency room. But, no, he was calling to let us know that Travis was planning to be baptized upon returning to town the next morning!! I came prepared with video camera! We couldn't be happier that both our children have put on Christ in baptism this year.

Cara's Baptism

Kevin - We were so proud of Cara when she decided to get baptized! She didn't want a lot of people so we invited a few families and a small number from the youth group. Afterwards, the kids formed a human hand tunnel for her to run under and then had a group prayer. We hosted an ice cream sundae party in the new youth building and her small group leader gave her a "happy RE-birthday" cookie. It was fun watching her reactions as she phoned the grandparents with her big news. We love you, Cara!!
