How to turn off windows 10 update permanently

There are many reasons to tune off windows update, one of main reason is auto update of device drivers causes some damages to you work or to your PC some time in some cases.

There are 3 ways to stop windows 10 updates
Method 1: Stop The Windows Update Service
As central as it is to the core of Windows 10, Windows Update is actually just another Windows process so it can be stopped with these simple steps:

Open the Run command (Win + R), in it type: services.msc and press enter
From the Services list which appears find the Windows Update service and open it In ‘Startup Type’ (under the ‘General’ tab) change it to ‘Disabled’ Restart
To re-enable Windows Update simply repeat same steps, but change the Startup Type to ‘Automatic’

Method 2: Setup A Metered Connection
Windows 10 offers users on metered connections a compromise: to save bandwidth Microsoft confirms the operating system will only automatically download and install updates it classifies as ‘Priority’.

While Microsoft doesn’t reveal its method of classification, this does cut down more frivolous updates which typically include new drivers and software features - both of which have already caused stability problems.

Open the Settings app (Win + I)
Open the ‘Network & Internet’ section
Open ‘Wi-Fi’ and click ‘Advanced Options’
Toggle ‘Set as metered connection’ to ‘On’

Note: If your PC uses an Ethernet cable to connect to the Internet the Metered Connection option will be disabled as it works with Wi-Fi connections only (silly I know).

Method 3: Group Policy Editor
This is a halfway house: the group policy editor will notify you about new updates without automatically installing them (how previous generations of Windows always worked) - though again security updates will still install automatically.

Note: Windows 10 Home users have to sit this one out, it is only for Windows 10 Education, Pro and Enterprise editions.

Open the Run command (Win + R), in it type: gpedit.msc and press enter
Navigate to: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update
Open this and change the Configure Automatic Updates setting to ‘2 - Notify for download and notify for install’
Open the Settings app (Win + I) and navigate to -> Update and Security -> Windows Updates. Click ‘Check for updates’ which applies the new configuration setting
Restart

Alternatively for Windows 10 users without group policy access:

Open the Run command (Win + R), in it type: regedit and press enter
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU
In there create a ‘32-bit DWORD’ value called ‘AuOptions’ and under ‘Value Data’ type 2 and click ‘OK’
Open the Settings app (Win + I) and navigate to -> Update and Security -> Windows Updates. Click ‘Check for updates’ which applies the new configuration setting
Restart

Outlook Express sending mails multiple times - FIXED

This is a confirmed bug or issue with Outlook Express.

If you reply or send and email , it will show up in the outbox folder and will issue a Send / Recv Error with no notes on the error.

The issue is , outlook express does not send the email to the "sent" folder after it is sent to the client.

The trouble comes in when outlook express does a Send and Receive , it will send any emails in the outbox again each time the Send and Recv. action takes place.

SOLUTION IS:

Create a new Outbox, and Sent Items folder.

Do the following for the Outbox, and Sent Items after you move any messages. you wish to save to a local folder you create.

Tools >> Options >> Maintenance >> Store Folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Write the location down and navigate to it in
Windows Explorer or, copy and paste it into Start >> Run.

In WinXP, Win2K & Win2K3, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable
Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start >> Control Panel >> Folder Options Icon >> View, or in Windows Explorer >> Tools >> Folder Options >> View.

With OE closed, find the Outbox.dbx and Sent Items.dbx file and delete them New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

To help prevent this in the future:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They will eventually become corrupt. Create your own user defined folders for storing mail and move your
mail to them. Empty Deleted Items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 100MB, and Default folders as empty as is feasible.

After you are done, follow up by compacting your folders manually while working *offline* and do it often.

Click on Outlook Express at the top of the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File >> Work Offline (or double click Working Online in the
Status Bar). File >> Folder >> Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as
time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently.

In case your Windows 7 System fail to boot because of system missing file follow the following steps.

Note: It only fix in case of boot failure because of system missing file. It not recover you personal files like Office Documents, Images Videos like and also any other application like office suits, browsers, antivirus and more.

Put the disc in your optical drive and restart to boot from the DVD. You may have to change the boot settings in your BIOS if booting from a CD/DVD is not enabled. (See how here.) Watch for the “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD” message.
On the "Install Windows" screen, make the appropriate selections for language, time, and keyboard, and then click “Next”.
On the next screen, click “Repair Your Computer”. Do not click "Install now"
In “System Recovery Options”, select which operating system you want to restore if any are listed. It will be blank in many systems with only one operating system.
Click “Next”.
The “System Recovery Options” screen shown below will open.

2. Create E-mail Contact List in MS Excel as shown below and save it as CSV (Comma delimited).

3. Create a new message for Thunderbird file menu and enter {{email}} instated of email ID in "to" field and "{{firstname}} {{lastname}} , " instated firstname and lastname of the receiver person.

4. How to enable mod_rewrite in apache2 (debian/ubuntu)

First install the Apache with this command:

apt-get install apache2

Now use locate to find if the mod_rewrite.so is available on your server:

updatedb

locate mod_rewrite.so

It will found in “/usr/lib/apache2/modules”

New Apache follow some folders to enable and disable mods so now do this:

cd /etc/apache2/mods-enabled

touch rewrite.load

vim rewrite.load (you may use any editor to edit this file)

Now paste this following line:

LoadModule rewrite_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_rewrite.so

Then edit:

/etc/apache2/sites-available/default

Find the following:

6.Compile and install Nagios

#make install ; Install the compiled source
#make install-init
#make install-config
#make install-commandmode

NOTE: If you want to email alert go to the file with your favorite editor /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg
and change email address of nagiosadmin to which address want to alert

7.after that install below
#make install-webconf

8.Create nagisoadmin account for logging into the Nagios web interface.
#htpasswd -c /usr/local/nagios/etc/htpasswd.users nagiosadmin
Asking for password enter ex:12345

9.Restart the Apache web server to make new settings.
#service httpd restart

10.Compile and install the nagios-plugins
#cd ~/Downloads/nagios-plugins-1.4.11/
#./configure --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-group=nagios
#make
#make install

11.Add the nagios to the system services list and to autstart on system boot list
chkconfig --add nagios ;adding to system services list
chkconfig nagios on ;adding to auto startup on system boot

12.Verify the nagios sample configuration file
#/usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
If it shows total errors and warnings 0 when all is correct

13.Restart the nagios service
#service nagios restart

14.Modify the SElinux and iptables settings
#setenforce 0 ; setting SElinux to Permissive mode

15.Change the context
chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /usr/local/nagios/sbin/
chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /usr/local/nagios/share/

16.Flesh the iptables
#iptables -F
if you to permit save it
#service iptables save

Login into the nagios web interface by following
http://localhost/nagios ;Open this url in web browser and login with user is nagiosadmin and password which you given ex:12345

Hi guys there is a long time to meet. Recently Facebook updated Chat feature to sidebar like. I'm not like the feature because it has no 'only show online friends' option and more... Not only by me most of the Facebook users not like this new Chat features. For that I search for Facebook chat clients, Pidgin is the universal IM client for Yahoo, Windows live, Gtalk and more by using XMPP protocol we can chat with your Facebook friends like Gtalk and Yahoo Messenger.

Go to "Accounts" and select "Manage Accounts."

On the Basic tab, enter the following info:
- Protocol: XMPP
- Username: < your Facebook username >
- Domain: chat.facebook.com
- Resource: Pidgin
- Password: < your Facebook password >
- Local alias: < display name >
- Click the Advanced tab, then enter the following info:
- Connect port: 5222
- Connect server: chat.facebook.com
- (Uncheck the box labeled "Require SSL/TLS") or select "Require SSL/TLS if available"
Check the like https://www.facebook.com/sitetour/chat.php for settings.
