A week ago we made the short drive from Salinas to just south of 
Paso Robles. Without question, this is one of our favorite areas to 
visit and explore. (at least 3) have inquired about our whereabouts and well being.  So here is the bullet point version of what we have been up to for the last month.

We are currently staying in Silverton, Oregon and since the weather cleared this afternoon we decided to go find Silver Falls State Park.  We arrived too late to really take advantage of the trails but made plans to come back this week.

We were in Portland for three weeks before moving a little south.  We have 2 married daughters and 2 grand kids there and there was lots of visiting and eating out and even a sleepover with the grand kids on the RV.

We were once again reminded why we like state parks.  We have a quiet pull thru site with water and electric for only 22.00 a day. Built on the remains of an old Phosphate Mine, this park offers abundant biking and hiking trails but most of all it is quiet.  Far from the interstate, and hustle and bustle of Orlando.

Sunset pictures....</title><summary>Well our time in the keys is coming to an end.  As usual we didn't do everything we intended, but that's ok.  We'll be back.  We have so enjoyed our little hideaway.  Sadly I must tell you they don't offer a Passport America discount.
