“Unity in diversity, this what we call for India”, I think there is no grandiose in saying that we are united, for me Unity means Unity and diversity means diversity, this pithy saying is now almost extinct from our society. Today we are just of stray sticks bounded by a tenuous string that is fragile enought that can be broken by a mild gust of wind. I know folks reading my blog would say I am a traitor to the mother land, but when I look into the past of the same land, I see flair of knowledge, unity compassion, a sense of rapport among souls, but now I see only hatred. Today many of us are self centered, the I factor has so deeply grooved in our self that we are not concerned about any thing, but just US

The very idea of division comes from the very first word you say about yourself, yes its your name, to be more precise your complete name. Shaukat Ali, thats my pen name, but one among us would be the owner of this title, I don’t know and I am not interested either, what I am interested in is what thought process kindles when I hear such words. Race, sects, religion community to which the person belongs. People are tendentious when they hear name that are aligned to their religion may be caste, the very notion of such introduction ignites a sense of divison among us, some feels the salutaion of such aplhabets are related to rebillious group, a more scorching word would be terrorism, but I guess we are being too prejudiced with our mind set. We are too baised in our outlook, call it a parochial behaviour .

Long years ago to organize our society we divided the same in groups so that there could be more harmony among the people. Today we call as the Bourgeois and the Proletariats, with time human has gone astute and to pretentuous that he is all blessed by the god, in India we call them pundits, they appear with different names like sharma, mishra, shukla. Whatever but the logical sense says that these folks represents the learned class of the masses, now education is affable to every one, so according to our ancestors we all are Pundits, think about it, its a teaser. Working class was called vaishays, the term now more commonly used for prostitutes. Every morning when I embark my journey to office I see sweeper, the same Pundits going for work, so again they all be called the Vaishyas- The working class. We have manipulated the rules and now they are so intricate that we our self cannot find what exactly we are. The name is a identity for us not a burden, if I own my name I am supposed to be proud of it, and I am . Still my introduction is my first name, I am not Hindu, no Muslim nothing, I am just a soul who is here to to work so that one day I may be exonirated from this wordly matters, and attain salvation.

This forms the base reason why developed country are so ahead of us, they never include their surname, rather they suffix their parent’s name, may be the city. So when they utter it out they have a sense of belonginess, even we do, but thats for just our creed, Sad but its truth.

I might have roughed many readers, but this is what we are living in, I know when you are in a sweet dream you don’t want to get out of that, may be this is the same gesture I want to envoke among you all. We are in a state of dreams, its time to wake up and realize how much filth we have filled in our system, in our souls.

Lord Ram even accepted the hospitality of samll farmers, if he was not ashamed what he did, then we humans are too small in this light. Feel proud of your name, your name tells your attitude you passion for life, its just dont divide the country with this. We have a long journey to travel, don’t shake it with such small gusts of confusion and resentments.

Shaukat Ali……….

” My dear students, India is not a country, its a concept where we beleive people frol different walks of life come and stand. The moment we break this concept we can easily coup the country. ” This what one of the teacher said to the his students in a British class, I respect the prudence of that teacher, what a meticulous thought he had. This was the theme on which the britishers captialized and were able to rule the country for nearly two centuries. At the time independence we thought the thought that India is a concept would be false, but after decades of democratic tyrany I think India is still a concept, we are still small division of people who live in a illusion that India is a country, may days like August 15, January 26 make us feel that way.

I may be scorching to many who will read this, many would call me an idiot, some soul’s animosity may compell them to call me traitor, but truth is what not easily digested by us. What ever be my salutaion India is among those country where countrymen are still confused, as to call them Indian or states where do they belong. I am an IT guy settled in bangalore, at times many would ask my name, the reply is Siddharth, they go ahead and ask the my last name. Obviously there is a tacit question of which community or cast I belong. On a very honest note I really dont know which caste I am. The division of the country embarks the very moment when we give our introduction.

A folk in America is called American, the one in Japan is calls himslef Japanese, so French and so Englishmen, the irony with India is they call I am Punjabi, Tamilian, Maharastrian, sounds funny but thats the hard mournful thought to think. No dount there are time we feel proud when someone goes to space, some wins a worlcup, some one wins a Nobel Prize or a booker prize, but the zest is ephemeral. The next time we board a bus or a local train we only see filth.

Every thing in today’s world is commercialized, be it sports, politics, media, every thing is now an entity MBA grads are just trying to manifest a price tag to it so that it can be sold out. What to say street vendors have started sending national flag, with full exuberance we put it on, by the time we reach home its lying on the floor.

A country where billion of money is wasted on some common wealth game infrastructure, whose command is with the venal countrymen, we have erected flamboyant structure but what we have given to those who still have the sky as their house. We have pied falvours of food, what about those who still fight for a meal. This is not Independence, I may expect a retort for the same, saying “we are doing our best possible effort”, for them scam in IPL games, commonwealth game, building multi million dollar parks, is this what we have done so far. One side we have extravagent societies with pools, recreation centre on the other side we have dharavi, may be the biggest slum in Asia.

In our pursuit of political, economical, democratic independence, what sacrifices we made to get that medalian, do we have it with us, for me the question is left unanswered, may be among you can give a try. We all are jubiliated when we see August 15 on our calender, reason another Public holiday, where a common man can go for a movie with a bag of pop-corn, now many have started to fret about, as this day is officialy a dry day.

I know my writing is not at all rehoteric neither I am trying to verve you all so that next morning you go all with all guns out, it was just that I was depreesed that this very day we don’t call India a CONCEPT ! tacitly.

Year 2003 every one thought India now has started his journey from where it left in 1984 when the contingent of 15 men under the commandment of Kapil Dev left, yes the year India made it to the finals of 2003 ICC World Cup. Although the result were dismay for India but never mind at the end of the day some one has to put their head down and some one has to be boisterous with joy. In recent time India has always shown a dismal performance at the International stage, be it some “onsite” tour or some domestic encounters. The reason is crystal clear, cricket engagements is now limited to some bacchanalian parties, high price tagged commercials and pompous grandiloquence status in society.

The chorus might have not change the theme of their song but yes the beats are certainly heading toward new tone and notes. The much talked about IPL was in news for some recent weeks, when it was revealed and some senior members of the IPL team were under allegations for venal crime. Obviously a country with cricket as the second religion you can expect such crime and it is not bad to considered it as a venial undertaking, for the first time from pinnacle of the pyramid to the grass root level of the system it was clear that IPL is one of the most corrupt body of India, a system where money is flowing in the hands of game maker, among such names are Lalit Modi, Sharad Pawar.

Being an Indian I am used to such kind of scams in India, as the old man says, you are not a good politician if you are not evolved in such allegations of scam, the politics did not leave Shashi Tharoor, one of the most learned politicians of India nominated for UN, has some unmatched publications. The gloomy news for this new episode is the appointment of new ICC president Mr. Sharad Pawar, the smoke of the IPL scam is yet to abate, the news of such magnitude is setting a new epitome for corruption. Mr. Pawar who is also under suspect of being envlolved in IPL scam is all set to lead the International cricket.

The shocking news was when one of the Australian contender was thrown out of the race. In the lights of what are the achievements of Mr. Pawar, I am in now ways surprised to see him the ICC President, considering that now whole cricket fraternity is corrupt, obviously the brethren court needs who can adjust well the room.

Part – II of the sad story is the current position in India political ambience which he has been holding. The food minister, well Annapurna is the name given to the one who provides food. Well the stats I have don’t show a very promising achievements for our Union Agriculture minister, or may be sinister. India is ranked 88th on world food Hunger Index, now that’s what I call a paramount achievement when you are the Agriculture Minister of the country. With IPL allegation and with such international stats on Indian Hunger Index I am confident enough that Mr. Pawar will add new dimensions to the cricketing fraternity in his rule.

On a personal level, I am least bothered about these things s long as I am getting my salary and bread to eat I am more than happy to watch cricket with a bowl of popcorn and jug bear, but when I share this news on a national bench, with patriotism I find I have to agitate the motion once again and bring the resentment among the masses again. Clearly the Indian have a chronic problem of amnesia where they grant amnesty to all who might have committed the most brutal crimes.

Giving the verbose flow of my thoughts a pause I end up saying that in a country like India cricket is the best crop to reap on, Mr Pawar’s stake in IPL and BCCI will help him to get this job done even more meticulously.

15 Aug, 1947 is a memorable day for all of us, it embarked a new era of freedom where any and every Indian is free, not politically but socially. There was no punitive government who would debase us, rather a political body that stands on democratic grounds. Every new born life is not bound in chains of slavery, no wraith of white skin on us. Its is the day what we call today FREEDOM, thas independence we are talking about.

Over the years we are celebrating this event with sublime zeal. The very thought of this day unites us all, a day where every one stand for a common cause, under a common tri-color. Folks on roads can laught without seeking any one’s permission. However another day is also kept under consideration, 1992, where our biosterous citizen were given the right to trade freely, there were no painstaking in opening a new firm, we call it three pillars for the modern uproaring Indian economy , we call it Globalization. That was the time and today, India has undobtly has changed leaps and bound.

From mud roads where kids muddled to turf flyovers in cities, not only infrastructes changed, Indian society also saw some new trends where women were given a healthy status, education flourished like never before, life style is flipside what was decades ago. Sounds perfect ! we are among those spectators who are watching only one side of the coin. This time grass on the other side of the fence is slight pale and even dried.

With the advent of IT in India, mushroom number of IT oppurtunity have gone up, the IT pool can be said to be at its pinnacle. In all this we have not seen one thing, the growing concern among fellow citizen. With population as the source behind these beautifull IT endeavours, there is no shortage of technical man power, this has now become a problem for the man power itself. The It company are now treating employees nothing more than a technical labour, some time worse than that. A 10 hours of work by no standards can be called humans, I still remember a time when a software geek was a matter of respect, now its just flipside.

With such a hectic schedule of work we hardly get any time for our personal life. People often work from home to keep their supervisor happy, or the very next day he would has his replacement, this is in turn increasing the stress level. The client is considered as a god for these IT boss, what ever they said is considered to be final verdict, there is no argument on that, for me it is no different from what India was before 1947. A simple mistake from any folk is considered to be gaffe, for which there is only denunciation. Is this what we dreamt of as Independent India.

No doubt with such IT boom, and oppurtunity we have got many things, but the play which I am watching might have a very ruthless ending. I am still a naive to this, may be some one better can comment or may be rectify me.

Looking forward to hear from you !!!

If it happened before yet you are thinking about it, It is happening Now!

Your thoughts have a lot to do with nutrition and your attitude to what you eat. You can see how your thoughtscan influence you with regard to nutrition, taste and health concerns.

Like repeating thoughts, whether consciously or not can make you believe them to be factual, whether true or false. If your mother told you that it’s unhealthy to drink water with your meal, that notion may remain with you to the rest of your life. I had also a such type of notion from my mom in childhood that never ever comment on your food whatever you are eating, having food is itself a God’s greatest bliss. So whenever I don’t like any dish, I just keep quite.

Whether true or false, the ‘wisdom’ of your teachers must constantly be challenged as new nutritional discoveries are made.

I thinks our thoughts also have some taste and they compare it to some taste which our mind have already sensed.

How do you react when you hear a bad report on the news? The media may ‘warn’ that “everyone who does not get the ‘flu shot will be seriously ill and chances are blah, blah, blah,” Those are all spoken words!

You can choose not to entertain all the negative news coming your way! Instead, make a conscious choice to replace it with positive thoughts and words. You can direct your destiny with how you think and what you say!

The more open your mind is to trying new things that you know are good for your health, the more your attitude will change and your taste buds will follow!

Something about Dutches are said that whatever food a farmer is not familiar with, he does not like. In other words, if he’s never tried it, he has already condemned it in his mind by assuming he won’t like it and therefore won’t even try it!

Enjoy God’s ample variety of deliciously nutritious provision to keep your body functioning at optimum health!

BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) had launched a software called “Motive Self Care” by which BSNL’s broadband users can make better performance of internet and can access high speed. BSNL has made a good effort to serve their Broadband customers better with the help of a Self Care Software. It provides a lot of useful services free of cost and makes High Speed Broadband Access easy and hassle free. This is definitely a good news for all the BSNL Broadband users.

This utility software from BSNL is Only applicable for UTStarcom (both Type 1 and Type 2), Nokia Siemens Networks(Type 1 ONLY) and ZTE Modems (both Type 1 and Type 2) supplied by BSNL.

Installing Motive Self Care Software on your PC is the right way to configure and keep your BSNL broadband connection safe that ensures better performance.
This Self Care Software also helps you to:

Manage your Modem seamlessly

Troubleshoot your Modem Remotely connection directly to BSNL Customer Care

Reconfigure the lost configuration of your Modem and Outlook Express

Although the size of this software is 158MB and one can think of downloading charges if he is not using unlimited downloading scheme, then don’t worry you can download it anytime as BSNL says that the download will not be accounted in your usage. Also you won’t be charged for using this Self Care Software.
