We have changed to a new customer service system. The forum failed to work effectively, therefore we have moved to the GetSatisfaction service. This is accessible through the contact section of the site.

Deduplication has been added to this release. Allowing simple but effective removal of duplicate rows based on your criteria. There are also some minor bug fixes.

Data Gopher 0.1 Released!

Today marks the release of a great little utility called Data Gopher for querying against any OleDB or ODBC compliant database from a small console like application.

CSV Easy 1.0.6 and website update

A minor update for CSV Easy. Adding skip rows and fixing a few bugs.

Also a minor upgrade to the website. The CSV Easy tab has now become the Products tab, allowing future expansion for more products. This new section now has a products menu along the top and each product has a much more accessible menu structure on the left hand side.

As you will notice there is a new product coming soon, we think you'll like it. Especially as its free!

Forum issues

We've been having huge issues with our forums. To cut a long story short it was hosted elsewhere because it was PHP based and this entire site is ASP. The host had lots of database issues and couldn't rectify it.

After a lot of playing around we've managed to get our main server to support PHP. This now means www.tizmaforums.com has changed to forums.tizma.com

Unfortunately the database wasn't transferable. So, you will need to re-register if you had before on the previous forum. We apologise for this and hopefully it won't happen again.

Although we are very close to the V1 this new beta version had to be released due to 0.1.3 expiring today. It does have some great new features for you to try out though. Another new version of CSV Easy is ready. This is primarily in response to users of the beta. There are some minor bug fixes and tweaks. Plus a few nice new features we think you'll like.

Please note, this will be the last beta version. The next update will move to a trial and purchase model as we feel CSV Easy is ready for a V1 in terms of its feature set and stability. Do not fear as we will be constantly improving and enhancing the product, so keep your feedback coming.

Just a quick post to say a new version is due in the next couple of days. The current version 0.1.2 of CSV Easy will expire on the 31st of July. The application should notify that an update is available. If not check back here soon.

CSV Easy 0.1.2 Released!

The public beta is going well. We've had some excellent feedback and consequently there is an update. Most significantly, the way inconsistant column counts are dealt with is addressed in this version.

Originally if a row contained more or less columns than the first row the system would report it as an error. The problem is errors stop the file from opening at all. This meant you had to manually fix the issue before CSV Easy would open the file.

However, this new version takes a more friendly approach and loads the file, but tags the offending rows with warnings. This will enable you to find the row and fix the issue from within CSV Easy.

CSV Easy 0.1.1 Released!

Today marks the first public release of CSV Easy. What we like to call 'The Swiss Army Knife for CSVs'. The first of many software solutions from Tizma to aid data users everywhere.

Although a beta, this release is a highly polished and tested product. We are now asking you the public to help us iron out the kinks and tweak the feature set, before official release. There's nothing like real world data and users to really put a product through it's paces.

So head on over to the CSV Easy product page and check it out. We would greatly appreciate any feedback - good or bad. Go to the Support section of the site to get help, register issues and give feedback.

During this beta testing phase you will be able to purchase licenses ready for launch day. Buying now enables you to purchase them at a reduced rate. It's our way of saying thank you for your help in making a better product.
