It's a tough year...
from the biggest experience of my life to the deep down core of the mud..
i admitted that this year has taught me lots of thing, and if it weren't for those occurence, i think i will continue to be ignorant...
for i know everything that happens have its own blessing in disguise..

So then i will always be up and running..
Thank you 2008, for giving my some of the funnest moment, memorable moment, educational moment, etc etc. and allowing me to move on!

Really looking forward to 2009!

The Cat Is Zat Tall?

I just don't know where did i get the notion that the Kuching Cat Statue is 3-4 storeys tall! When i was young, i think i was frequently exposed to maps and magazines tricking the cat with backgrounds of freaking tall building. I didn't really encounter photos of people with the cat.

and till the time i find out, it is actually this tall only....

but at least it is taller than me :D

According to "some" Kuchingites, this cat statue is a waste of fund. Come on, at least some people from out of town are still willing to take a pic with it right? Plus it becomes some sort of the city's icon, that has fooled my childhood brain!

As a revenge to that, i am doing this!

That's right, its my first time to East Malaysia, and i am now in Cat City ( Kuching ). Talking about that, i nearly missed my flight from LCCT, lol wth i got confused between the boarding time and departure time, so i was one of the last...

so we have a Parkson wannabe... the next thing you see are Rickson Grand, U-Rickson, and Rickson @ Pavillion

the so called Kuching Tower aka. Civic Centre, being able to watch over the entire Kuching?!
the view ain't that bad too :D but i heard many committed suicide from here lolx

and i thought the Kuching cats were like 3-4 storey high.. where did those image come from? Those maps and stuff really ripped me off....

This is an innocent market street called Indian Street with little or no Indians. And the guy at the left, he actually sells "gambir" which works similarly like a viagra. Care to experience a Sarawak product?

The Laksamana Cheng Ho i used to know is an eunich. However, this sculpture shows him in a "man-ly" style... amazing~ which is right?!

Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D

This is basically a 3D movie and should only be shown in an IMAX theater rather than having some normal cinemas like GSC or TGV to show it, or even its non-3D version.

Firstly, i get the glass. Cool! and wear it.. well basically the entire movie is 3D rendered.

At the beginning, i don't feel any hype out of it until the yoyo swings where it really seems like it is reaching towards me. To my surprise, everybody in the cinema "WOW-ed" at that moment.

Then time after time, more and more crazy scenes start coming in, but no one "WOW-ed" anymore... guess the 3D effect only impresses the human receptor once!

To sum up, this movie to me has got no plot!
Trevor ( Brendan Fraser ) just wants to prove that his brother whatsoever that Jules Verne's book, Journey to the Center of Earth was right.
So he made an expedition deep down there...

So why 3D?
The whole idea of the movie, i think was just to show the powerful CGI effects and how the so called World within our Earth looks like...
The magma in the core is the sun...
There are sea, river, plants, etc... and it even rains at the center of the Earth..
Well after all those were Verne's idea.

So....

Verdict : " You will only love this movie for its CGI, but the plot... dissapointing! "

In the future i really wanna conduct my own expedition, something as challenging as this too... hmmph let me see....

East Coast and Donut Combo Craze

I've been to East Coast Mall for five times ( each per day ) in my seven days in Kuantan....

check out Carrefour, when other shops have not open yet
on 30th April itself the opening ceremony, at 11am, gosh! Its working day and there are tons of people!
with parents, where i met Ji Yan, Wan Ching, Ju Vern, and plenty plenty of familiar faces
with Charan, Zhen Ru, Joe, and Ernest
and with Roger, Boon, and Vincent, where i met Jia Li, Ju Vin, Patrick, Ee Loe

am i what, sick of East Coast Mall?

Everyone is there...such a happening place. WoW, even the Quicksilver, Laksa Shack, Baskin Robbins, and all. There are lotsa people! Not that many as in KL. Kuantan people are getting richer and goldier i must say. And yes there will be a cinema there, so don't worry! :P

i had Big Apple Donuts for like four times ( each per day) at visit#2 to #5...

Kuantan Revisited

Well yeah, i am back in my lovely Kuantan. Not much has change except for the presence of Kuantan's latest mall, East Coast Mall. For that, after all the hype... not really that big either, just that they introduced lotsa new shops that Kuantan doesnt have for years like Carrefour, Sushi King, Baskin Robins, etc... Well but who cars bout those, the most important thing is Big Apple is here! Well, sorry for the bias, but i am really a donut fan, judging by the amount i have eaten. XD I would say not bad, Kuantanites are quite a donut fan too, the Q is the same as in KL. sweatz!

Then Si Clayton somehow made me watch Ironman in Kuantan, then later he said " no no " and stuff like that. Its been a long time i havent been to Kuantan Megamall GSC, come to think of it, the sound system is louder and more powerful than the ones in KL. At least they are not kiam siap people who turn down the volume. Pavilion even worse when i watched Escape from Huang Shi, they never turn off the lights when the movie begun and never turn on the lights when the movie ends!

But then, for Ironman, i dont wish to spoil, so i will only use a tagline, " Tricked by the trailer yet again, So So, not up to expectation!"

I am currently looking forward for Speed Racer, Superhero Movie, and Prince Caspian!

But here we are not gonna spoon feed you, but just add a lil touch up to spice it up. Well i won't go into total detail as i might ruin the integrity....

Corridor Innocent Look is crucial. It determines your first impression towards your partner which means what they will feel about you? Act innocently and ofcourse goody goody. A slight mistake will render your partner to be of total uninterested.

Well if you really wanna inform him but feeling a lil bit shy, you should always find a crowd where everyone wears the same clothes as he does, while you wear a clothe which is of total contrast. For this example, Red and Black. Keep tailing him throughout and he will feel attracted. Hopefully...

3) Security
Not to mention, security is also an important measure. As you know, similar magnetic pole rejects each other, similar electrical socket doesn't match, but forcing them together could be really painful. One or two of this might save a thousand days of suffering, mentally and physically.

Once Upon A Time in Sungai Lembing Country

It's Mayday, hmmm so why need we get outa town for a while? Maybe just a lil stroll to Sungai Lembing which is roughly 30km from Kuantan.

From a single car petrol station, lonely hawker to an uphill mansion..... Sungai Lembing is a peaceful countryside.
( Please exclude the crowd from the Curry Mee Store... lol )

Of course the mansion serve a big purpose, not as a haunted house but as a museum displaying antique mining equipment. Last time, Sungai Lembing was a hub for gold mining, however it is depleted now.

The owner told me to make myself at home. Don't be fooled by those old wooden look furnitures. The mansion is well quipped with LCD Television for real!

And i was thinking how am i going to spend a night in the Museumic Mansion with nothing much to do accept strolling around the corner doing nothing but inspecting antiques.

Ah yeah... cool view, so i decided to enjoy the beautiful scen..... WaLAoh!~

ZOMG?! What are these? National Service Trainees? That really shock me. One moment it was silent, and just another moment, it was like time traveling.

Made my self all the way down to get a close glimpse on them and what camp are they from?

Just one thing tickles me.... when i asked one malay girl trainee," Which camp are you from? " and she replied " Tandas! nak gi tandas. "

LOL.... even if you can't hear my voice properly, would you think a normal passerby would ask about where are you going? I don't know you leh...

Finally i found out they were from Chini Camp and they mean the ENTIRE Chini Camp. Straight to my mind...

Where is Ah Joe? Where is Hoyo?

but i has actually scoped him earlier ago, the 2 top pics with the red box is him. He became darker than i could imagine. No worries, he will be back in just a few weeks time or in a month if the appeal fails.

When i visited the National Zoo ( Zoo Negara ), i was looking forward to encounter animals like tigers, lions, monkeys, snakes, and many more. However, i was shocked to find a new species!

" Meet the Florazhan ", it is a creature which resembles a penguin and have flowery body which acted as a mechanism to undergo the photosynthesis process and of course attract bug and trap them. So basically, the body is used to produce energy.

After my encounter, the National Zoo finally decided to take serious action in researching this new creature for foreign marketing.

" It will be a new experience for our tourist! To meet the Florazhan! " says the National Zoo Council.

" ZOMG! A herbivore cum carnivore!!! What do we call it? Combowhore? " says Prof. Guinsoo

" This animal is indeed a unique one, i hope its body can be an apple tree, that one i am interested. Flowers? Nahhh...and it walks... " says Joseph, German Tourist

TM Case Study On Dota Players

After playing DotA for approximately 3 years, i had finally learned some of the tricks and trade of DotA players which includes their saying, their movements, and anything at all. Care to enlighten yourself? Please read my case studies.

Case Study #1
Situation : When a person leaves from the Sentinel Team, why does the Sentinel Team the one who decides the game to be remake or continued?
Conclusion : Of course if we see fairness, the Sentinel Team should make the decision but the thing is you don't know what is happening behind the scene.
Conclusion 2 : Sentinel Team can ask 1 of their member to quit in order to remake a new game. It is all a conspiracy.

Case Study #2
Situation : Host don't really care what the players complaint even though it is lagging, high delay, etc.. Worst of all, they take advantage because host is the only one not lagging at all.
Conclusion :If you see APEM, there is always a 60% chance the host will pick Naix, Obsidian, Phantom, those high end gayish heroes.
Conclusion 2 : If you are a player of a lag game, please bag the house to say " How come you all lag? I also not lag!"

Case Study #3
Situation : Whenever you are using heroes like Keeper of the Light, Tormented Soul, or any other low HP heroes but most importantly these two. Please be aware.
Conclusion :I just dunno why, but DotA players tend to admire these 2 heroes ( KOTL and TS ). No matter what, even 4 heroes are chasing 1 of those heroes, each of them will use their ultimate spell without fail. I had a bad experience being swapped, stun, finger, and chronosphere.

MODUL KHIDMAT KOMUNITI

Kehidupan ini tidak akan memberikan sebarang makna sekiranya kita tidak mempunyai kekuatan untuk mencuba sesuatu." Kesukarelaan dan jatidiri yang kukuh dan padu perlu dijanakan dalam diri setiap individu untuk menyuburkan kekuatan serta keyakinan diri. Dengan itu, sebagai langkah merealisasikan aspirasi tersebut, Program Latihan Khidmat Negara telah dilaksanakan dengan memperkenalkan beberapa modul tertentu kepada para pelatih yang berumur 18 tahun. Salah satu modul yang terdapat dalam pelaksanaan Program latihan Khidmat Negara ialah Modul Khidmat Komuniti . Modul khidmat komuniti mempunyai lima komponen utama iaitu kemudahan awam, kejiranan, khidmat sosial, alam sekitar dan penempatan di Jabatan. Ini bermakna, sepanjang program berjalan, para pelatih akan melalui kelima-lima komponen tersebut dalam tempoh yang telah ditetapkan .

Objektif

Secara umumnya, Khidmat komuniti dalam Program Khidmat Negara adalah latihan amali di dalam komuniti berdasarkan latihan yang telah dilalui oleh para pelatih dalam komponen perkhemahan (modul fizikal), kenegaraan dan pembinaan karektor. Teras Program Latihan Khidmat Negara adalah untuk membentuk sebuah masyarakat yang berdisiplin, bersemangat waja, berkeyakinan diri, setia kepada Negara, sentiasa bersedia menghadapi sebarang cabaran dan dugaan serta untuk memupuk kerjasama dan perpaduan dikalangan pelbagai kaum di Negara ini.

Remaja dewasa ini harus memahami kepentingan hidup bermasyarakat. Mereka perlu diberi peluang menikmati kehidupan bermasyarakat, memahami maslaah masyarakat dan mengambil bahagian dalam proses pembangunan sosial masyarakat. Setiap remaja harus sedar masalah-masalah yang dialami di kampus turut berlaku di komuniti mereka di luar kampus. Wira dan wirawati seharusnya mampu membina kebolehan menabur khidmat untuk komuniti sebagai generasi baru yang mempunyai kesedaran terhadap tanggung jawab sosial, berkesedaran sivik dan mengutamakan solidariti masyarakat.

Objektif khusus modul khidmat komuniti adalah untuk membolehkan wira dan wirawati :

. membina semangat patriotisme dan semangat perpaduan menerusi modul khidmat komuniti
. memperoleh latihan praktikum kemahiran dan nilai yang telah dihayati semasa latihan modul fizikal,kenegaraan dan pembinaan karektor
. membangunkan kemahiran, pengetahuan dan nilai mengenai kesukarelaan
. menggalakkan penglibatan para remaja dalam pertubuhan sosial khususnya pertubuhan-pertubuhan belia

Aktiviti

Bagi melaksanakan aktiviti secara kolektif dan menyeluruh, aktiviti sepanjang siri dibahagikan kepada 5 pecahan komponen supaya wira dan wirawati mampu memahami aspirasi khidmat komuniti di antaranya ialah:

1) Kejiranan - Antara projek utama yang dijalankan ialah mengecat dewan orang ramai, pembahagi jalan, menceriakan taman, lawatan ke rumah-rumah jiran di kawasan kampong, melakukan program anak angkat dan pelbagai lagi.

2) Kemudahan awam - para pelatih turut didedahkan dengan pelbagai aktiviti di lokasi-lokasi terpilih. Antaranya ialah pembaikpulihan perhentian bas, pembaikpulihan dewan masyarakat, memberi kesedaran kepada para pelatih dan masyarakat tempatan mengenai kepentingan kemudahan awam melalui ceramah ringkas, gotong-royong di rumah-rumah ibadat seperti masjid, kawasan kubur dan sebagainya.

3) Khidmat sosial - Antara aktiviti yang dijalankan dalam komponen ini adalah mendengar taklimat daripada institusi-institusi yang dilawat seperti Bengkel Orang Kurang Upaya, PENGASIH, hospital, klinik-klinik desa dan pelbagai lagi.

4) Alam sekitar - Aktiviti yang paling banyak dilakukan ialah gotong-royong seperti membersihkan, mengindahkan dan menceriakan kawasan sekitar.

5) Penempatan di Jabatan - Tujuan adalah untuk memberi peluang kepada pelatih PLKN memahami peranan dan tanggungjawab beberapa buah Jabatan Kerajaan terutamanya Jabatan yang berorentasikan pakaian seragam (beruniform). Disamping itu memberi kesedaran tentang tanggungjawab mereka untuk membantu Jabatan dan mengetahui peluang-peluang kerjaya yang tersedia ada dalam jabatan dan agensi berkenaan.

Alright that was the PLKN view or shall i say their hope for the outcome after we have undergone the module. I just take one of my camp's community service module activities which we went to clean up the kampung near there.

We split into 2 teams to clean the kampung area doing the usual dudu picking up rubbish and stuff. But the question is how do we dispose the big lump some of garbage? The simplest solution is burning like i said earlier in one of my environmental post ( but not on burning lolz! ).

I know we have been taught to approach the community and being a good example to them but it seems like all these isn't working right. Come on, before we did the service, the entire area is full of those plastic ice cream pop packet thingy. After we are done with it, the instructor was so proud that he claimed that he took photos to make comparison ( darn i didn't took it, can't show you guys! ).

Well, at the end of the Training we were given chance to voice out feedbacks. I turned this issue to them, and they replied me with :-

We rarely do this like once a week
It is for a short term beautification
Did you see that after you completed your service, some villagers pick up the rubbish them self? You have become a good example!!!

and my replies are...

A Culinary Journey With TM : Thousand Century Hawker Centre ( April's Fool Season Special )

It is April, and i had a trip across the northern part of Malaysian which is Penang. Over there, i still had not give up for the search of the greatest food in the world. As for that, i dropped by at a store with the name Thousand Century Hawker Centre. Not forgetting, the owner does not want to expose his real name instead addressing himself as Weng.

Weng : Oi! Boos! Eat wert?!

TM : Hmmm... errmmm i heard here famous for the what call " Claypot Curry Noodle " ? Is it?

Weng : Wrong! You are definately wrong! It is the suckiest food ever created. The " Claypot Curry Noodle " was made up of dog pee.

TM : What? You are downgrading your own food? Are you outta your mind? Even if your food are crappy, you would even reinvent your own stories right?

Weng : Noo.. noo... all my food sucks~!

TM : ALL?! Then how about the well-known " Thousand Century Wantan Noodle "?

Weng : Oh shit.. you don't understand... this one double the worst! I used petroleum to make the soup and actually i inserted more veges than meat inside the wantan pouch.

TM : That is strange... if his food sucks, why are there so many people around here?

Waiter 1 : Ah Weng, that table don't want to eat your " Digital Noodle ".

Weng : Well that is too bad for him to be able to taste my electrified soup.

TM : Zzzzz.... so it is April's Fool??? Who you think you are fooling? Calling this an Opposite Day?

Too Lazy To Treat Sick Kids and Me lah

PETALING JAYA: After just 10 days into the second session of national service this year, a parent has pulled his son out of the programme claiming the boy had not received proper medical attention.

T. Raja Mohan, 46, who went to Kem Paya Indah in Kuala Langat late on Wednesday to pick up his son Melvin Mohan, 17, lodged a police report yesterday claiming the camp had treated his son’s asthma attack with indifference.

“My son suffered an asthma attack during one of the evening physical training exercises. The trainers took him to the clinic at the camp but it was locked.

“When the chief trainer told a trainer to open the door and treat my son, the trainer said he was too lazy to treat sick kids and they should be left to die,” Raja Mohan, a product trainer, alleged in the police report.

Melvin: ‘One of the trainers kept swearing at us (trainees)’

Melvin said after this happened, he started gasping for air until the attack subsided.

At the family’s home in Puchong here yesterday, Melvin said that when he first arrived at the camp, the sergeant asked him about his asthma and whether it was serious.

“I explained to him that it would occur if the weather was too cold or if I over exerted myself. The sergeant then said it was nothing too serious and allowed me to join the programme,” he said.

Melvin also alleged that a number of the trainers at the camp were rude and intimidating.

“One of the trainers kept swearing at us (trainees) and constantly challenged us to question his authority.

“Some trainers also made veiled threats that they (trainers) could make our three months there a living hell,” he said.

Melvin said the food at the camp was also of poor quality.

When contacted, NS Training Department director-general Abdul Hadi Awang Kechil said they were aware that Raja Mohan had removed his son from camp.

“We will investigate the matter once we receive a report from the camp commandant,” he said.

Abdul Hadi said trainers and camp commandants were made aware of the medical conditions of certain trainees and to take note of those who were not physically fit.

After reading the paper from The Star today about this headline, that just reminded me about the good old days in camp. In fact, what he said was quite true. I am just stating the fact that the " bahagian pengurusan "( run by armies ) is darn arrogant. They don't change from the first day to the last.

Same as the headline, the medical officer is lazy, if there is a bruise or cut, they wouldn't even bother to treat.

They take the easy way out by reusing the same list of transport during the CNY break of trainees for the discharge from NS which causes massive havoc.

What is on the staff table? Magazines and computer with CounterStrike.

The logistic officers who distribute uniforms will be mumbling with rude words if you are just there ( not saying a word, if you say a word, it doubles! )

My experience, my boots had only 1 shoe lace instead of a pair, what he did was cut it into half and done. Imagine how short it could be???

I believe not all the staffs are like that, after all they undergone Army Training right? But they must know who they are dealing with at times.

PS : Their shooting skills not really that good though, we are better, witnessed from the M-16. LOL

PAO : I nothing one ah... i say already i told your henchman to come and collect from me when i go to KL liao, why you still don't understand? And you still call your company good service? Isn't the customer always right? Ha... ha....

BOSS : Some things the customers are NOT RIGHT, for example THIS ONE! You only have 2 choices, either you pay or face the consequences!!!!

PAO : What were the choices again? Deducting interest and .... ?

In the end... i could not bear to watch the ending.... it was the same like i had imagined, her entire body was covered with endless blood. NO! Worst than that, her organs splatter out like a dead cat.... It's just too much... I as a henchman of the DragonKing Boss really feel sorry for her...

BOSS : That was one more job settle by me! Hehehe.. i knew i have to settle things on my own!

Then i decided to seek revenge by turning the table against the DragonKing company. What i did was evil, i poisoned all the members of the company and got them admitted into hospital. From there i told the doctor to insert water into their blood and declare them all dead. It's just the BOSS not settle yet because he went to China to collect more debts!

As for him, i have decided to turn the case to the cops but they never ever believe me! Instead i was caught and thrown to prison for food poisoning!

WHY is the world so unfair? WHY the doctor do not know the meaning of justice? AND the cops, WHY won't they believe me?!!! It surely must be the doing of BOSS!

What was left 30 years later... it is still there! A memorial....

.... and that was the story when i was a henchman in the DragonKing Millionaire Company 30 years ago, where my friend perished pointlessly.....
