I put a thick gauge wire from the back/top of the engine to the firewall, the day time running lights no longer pulsed and the battery+emerg brake screwed off for about a week. They are now back.

I have bad grounds ? The neg term battery is a ground but i cant see where its going.

The alternator is good - was tested and it wouldnt have charged the battery to 14 - which was verified.

Maybe your TB wasn't as dirty as mine = less impact... Might be the reason why you did not see any SES codes. I'd take the wait and see approach... It might simply get better as time goes on as mine did and yours seems to be doing...

From what I've read, that seems like stock 5.7 numbers. With all the stuff I'm adding on later, I'm hoping to gain at least 80whp.

Anthony, I may be stock but my car has the fattest ass ever. Weight is about 4200 lbs, so I'm only pushing 15 lbs / hp. The closer I get to 10 lbs / hp, the better. I think you car is about 3400 to 3500 lbs.

Once I put the cam in and get it tuned, then I get it dynoed in order to see where my peak torque is and then get a convertor built for the tranny.

The worst part about this is I just had the previous damage fixed as well as got it repainted. Sucks that I have to deal with this crap all over again. But I am happy its not any worse.
