To begin with, let me get started with the ones that are not involved in any curricular activity(ies). They wake up in the morning, rush to the bathroom, get dressed, eat breakfast, and head to school, and that's only the begining of the day. When they get to school, they might sit around or look for their friend(s) to hang out with before the bell rings. At a starting point, this is not really what they to do. Ther's more than that in the back of their minds. They don't want to sit around doing nothing. Which brings me to my first question. Why do some teens don't want to join any curricular activity(ies). Because they're boring or not physically active? No. We, teens, tend to put ourselves into some situations where we're willing to do whatever it takes to accepted by the others or the "the cool ones". We don't want to be a laughing stock to every one, especially in high school. We are ready to do anything just to fit in. Let's take an example. Let's look at the band programs. The majority of the teens in high shool now don't wnat to be involed in anything that relates to band: whether it Jazz, Concert, or Marching band because their so called friends are going tease them. They are afraid in some point, but they never realize it. Those kids are the ones who later in life, found themselves in a position where they are completely gone astray. They don't know where to go because when they had the opportunity to fight for what they wanted, they've let it gone away just for pleasure. In other words, friends can have a great impact on you. It can be possitive and can also be negative.

As we go further, we end up where teens are trapped in the opposite situation from above. Now they end up with too many things to do in a very short period of time. They get involved in too many activities and/ or clubs. After their school day is over, they need to get ready for the rest of the day which might be more traumatic than the begining of the day. They end up in a place where they are thinking about what had happened along the schol day, what they have to do, and what they are going to do. For more information, I'm going to give you a faction defination from a personal experience. When I was a Freshmen in high school, I was doing extremely good when it came to my school work. I am always on task and barely got distracted. I always had As an Bs. And then came my Sophomore year. Same thing, but exept that I was doing better alone with perfect attendance. And now, let's talk about my junior year. Guess what? Nothing changed. Sometimes, kids make themselves think that because they're involved in some kind of activity(ies), they can not keep up with their academic work. It may be a problem, but that is caused by lack of preparation. Organize your days and think about what going to fit you before you join any after school activity, because you might end up killing yourself. You need to think before making any of these decisions because those same resolutions might be your resons that's going to make you decide that you're going to give up. You're going to end up thinking that school is turturing you and that it has nothing to offer and whatever crosses your mind.

Last but not least, they think that school isn't important or that it's too hard. Some believe that because others have made it without even at least graduate form high school that they can make it too. But they never thake the time to ask themselves the real questions. What did those people want? How did they make it? Why did they go for it? All these are main questions one should ask themselves before they decide on making any decision. You can't just wake up one day and say that I'm going to start my own business. Ok. Do you have the basics for it? What do you know about finance, marketing, accounting, promotion, and advertisement? People don't just wake up and make money. They work for it. And one more thing: money make money. You don't have it, you won't be able to expend it.

Kids nowadays believe that they can do anything. Of course you can. But Do you want it? Because going for something that you don't have an interest in is just a waste of your time, courage, devotion, and talent. You can do it if you really wnat to. That's the may reason why you're living. You are a successful creature, and life is willing to offer and provide you with anything you want. Your life is what you make of it. Make wise decisions and you'll see how much they'll pay themselves.
