Tony Kasper - Power Snap (FREE DOWNLOAD)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 18 Nov 2013 14:58:00 +0000

In recognition of having 808 followers on my SoundCloud profile, I want to show my gratitude to all of my fans by offering a special "remix" I did. Power Snap is a driving, raw techno track. For those that know may recognize the vocal samples I used in it as well. I initially started this project almost 4 years ago and have finally had the opportunity to finish this track just for my fans. Download and enjoy! Feedback is always appreciated!

4. Strategic Formula (7:17)

Press Release:
Drones over Tehran, black ops, wikitweaks Feel the familiar leash?
Meanwhile, the Midwest Menace captures a nervous world on loop from behind the Black curtain with his second EP, "Control Them." Black: the absence of light. The floods dim at stage left, but Mayans refuse to relent. Lock-step kicks and a spectral bassline spy over your shoulder, star wars spin in indifferent orbit, glowing green ascii asks: "would you like to play a game"?
Control. An epoch streaming through indifferent speaker stacks. Ronnie Raygun, resurrected as the brit Max Headroom, reads from a dot-matrix spool. Did he just say what I thought he said? "Always, always -- things are down to how you Kontrol Them."
On the flip, "No Sleep Required" and "Strategic Formula" channel early Plus 8/Circuit Breaker with a percussive assault and half-bar loops built for big rooms. Bonus beats placate proletariat bread lines scratching platters on the stripped-down "Control Them (Tool Version)."
You thought The Wall fell. But a new hemisphere echoes - bitte kommen Sie jetzt mit mir... Just because you're paranoid, don't mean we're not after you. Black Nation: heating up a cold war near you.

Tony Kasper - It's Your Choice EP (BNR660)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 27 Jan 2012 19:31:00 +0000

Released: 02.07.2012
Artist: Tony Kasper
Title: It's Your Choice EP
Label: Black Nation Recordings
Cat#: BNR660

Tracklist:
1. It's Your Choice (8:13)
2. Pushing Forward (9:17)

PRESS:
After releasing the highly-anticipated Know Who You Are REMIXES on Black Nation Records, Tony Kasper returns to present his first solo EP titled "It's Your Choice". The release contains two nasty floor-burners that will definitely be in some heavy hitters' playlists. The first self titled track on theEP is a straight party slammer with eerie overtones, gritty percussions , and a strong vocal. The second track titled "Pushing Forward" provides a strong and effective driving structure coupled with an intense group of breakdowns and peaks that will make it tough for the crowd to hold its face together.

FEEDBACK:

Alexi Delano (Plus 8 / Drumcode / H-Productions) - Will play!! Thanks!

Len Faki (Figure) - support!

Kenneth Broxgaard (Tic Tac Toe & Connect Four Records) - Super cool release!

Danny Tenaglia - thanks!!!

Gennaro Mastrantonio (Apparel Music / Blufin / Perc Trax) - nice tracks!!

PRESS:
Black Nation Recordings starts off their 20 Year Anniversary year with the long-awaited Know Who You Are REMIXES release already getting massive play from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Umek, Matador, Anderson Noise, Alexi Delano, Sasha Carassi, Loco & Jam, Stanny Franssen, Michel De Hey, Laurent Garnier, Industrialyzer, Pierre Deutschmann, Shin Nishimura, Chris Fortier, Hermanez, Tom Hades, and more!

Tony Kasper presents a remix compilation with several tracks from his August 2010 full length album debut. This package features an all in-house BN lineup. MEANSandENDS starts off with his misguided "ASM0K3Y remix" version of Changes followed by Ray Nicholes creepy and stripped down "Last Minute remix".

Label founder Jay Denham's contribution is his "Space Mix" of Come In Earth that guarantees to wobble any weeble. Ds and Cs There Is No Earth remix" offers up a funky organic interpretation to make the booties bounce.

Florida based Billy Johnston and Italian producer Gennaro Mastrantonio teamed up to create the "ANALOG remix" of "Selections" that features a slamming bass line complemented by synth peaks and straight forward people mover skills.

Lastly, Tony Kasper features his "Low Frequency remix" of "Selections" with darker elements and some massive synth stabs that say, Dont f*** with me I made this s***!.

PRESS:
Sixteen year deejay and up and coming Techno producer presents his first full-length album on internationally known Kalamazoo-based Techno label Black Nation Records headed by Jay Denham and D.G. Hubbard. With remixes out already on labels such as Kompute Musik and Smooth Agent Records, this album fits the role for a refreshing and original sound coming out of the midwest United States.

Living in a world filled with short-lived overnight rockstars conforming to half-witted and regurgitated dance music, Tony chose to stick with what he knows best, Techno, in it’s purist and simplest form by incorporating a driving force of funky structures, vocals, big room sounds, and seamless transitions, thus achieving an experience of it’s own kind from start to finish.

Each track on this album exemplifies the true meaning of dance music and how effective it can be when you keep it clean and well composed. The album is very versatile, easily played with Techno, House, Tech House, and Electro.
