Well the only point I can tell in favour in technology is that it can predict pretty well, the point is that it really does predict patterns rather than facts. But any way, if we knew with decent probability when it will rain with hourly precision - would it help? Imagine a 5-minute weather forecast describing in which discticts of the city (not even region!) there will be rain during which hours and dynamic temperature and wind power maps. Yikes! Think too we've overinvested in forecasting tehnology. It's only really needed in stormy regions, and in most of the other a simple backward-looking model will do... By the way, horoscopes still beat weather forecasts. You can predict anything and will come true sooner or later. Ask Nostradamus :)

Geez, i think that that is a little bit harsh! Yes, like all airlines, Air Canada does have problems, but it is doing a hell of a lot better than it was a year ago! I really think that Air Canada has been turned around and is becoming a better airline every day!

You forgot to put chevys with forstickers and fords with chevy stickers. For every civic on the road, there is a dumbmestic on the shoulder on the highway. If you call wings rice the same should apply for muscle car owners who just put flowmasters on their ride and call it mean lol. BTW I roast mustangs and dont really boast about it.

Thats really annoying. I get on avarage about 1000 emails a week from bebo. Also, in my gmail, i get about 1 spam email every 10 minutes, thats 6 every hour and 144 every day.

Ya but then it is one more thing taking up my time. I would rather put more time into one place, ie. blogger, than spread around that same effort and time managing many accounts. Why should those people feel hurt if you don't join the social network to become their friend? if they really want to be my friend on a lamo social network then they can join mine.

Jay, Facebook is great! Also, I'd suggest downloading KeePass Password Safe for keeping track of all of your passwords. I've been using it for years, and it works well.

That is funny, I just got a friends request from someone for Facebook about a week ago. I thought it was annoying. I already have a MySpace account that I never use, why would I want another one with another social networking web site. If I wanted this person to know what I was up to all of the time then I would just point him in the direction of my blog. I also had to most recently create a vox account because someone I know has a blog on vox. I need to make Rolodex with all of my user names and passwords in it.

Yeah Steve has sent me intense amounts of invitations, to pretty much anything you can invite someone too. He also pressures me to buy a Ferrari through MSN. Hmmm I think I am going to, the next time I am in Calgary, have a sit down with him and explain ( punching and kicking, maybe some bottles involved) not to be such an internet invite pusher.

But I am not a Poli Sci student, I am a journalism student, and as such I have very little time to submit anything that isn't homework. This site used to be a favorite for me to wake up and read, but everytime an article is published by Stephan I get the impression he is in university/colledge probably taking Political Science Most of the articles by him seem to run the same format that my professors used to make me use.
