This shoe looks like a Ferari Spider with gold Rims -YUMMY! It's metallic leather with a slick look of green and purple. It says 'Cat Woman Sexy' all over it. This futuristic piece come's from Fendi's Fall Collection at Neiman Marcus. It's going for $615 at Neiman Marcus and it is SUEDE by the way..(can't you see that I love suede already?). It comes in black and this turquoise blue. Looks a little like a hovercraft doesn't it - defnitely technology inspired.

The Annual Stuart Weitzman Celeb Shoe Auction is back! Celebrities featured in this year's auction are Oprah Winfrey, Courtney Cox, Marcia Cross, Hayden Panettiere, Glen Close and Kyle MacLachlan.

Here's the shoe to bid for if you like Kyle MacLachlan. It's called "Tee- off your heel".

Oh Deer Urban Outfitters!

Urban Outfitters is going purple this season and among their purple collection are these Oh Deer! Trapeze Heel. First I noticed the cutouts at the front which looked like a very-nicely-put-together-play-doh. Next, I found the peeptoe amusing, because it's not the peeptoe im used to, it actually only lets out one toe :) and that is why this shoe is on this blog. Also because it looks real soft and comfy and its comes in gold. It's going for a reasonable price of, $125 at Urban Outfitters.

Blinging into the Fall - Sequin Pumps

Check it out! These Christian Louboutin Sequin Pumps are going for $26.50.. NOOTT!! These originals are going for $995 at Neiman Marcus. It's got a hidden platform (which I love) and don't forget the signature red sole. But, the 4.7" heel is pretty intimidating for me.

Well if you can't buy these real CL sequined pumps, there's nothing wrong with getting the imitation which is really going for $26.50 at Wet Seal. The CL pump is made in Italy and Wet-Seal claims that their sequined pumps are imported too, only that they didn't state where. hehehe..

I've been looking for 'Sunday-Sandals ' for quite some time now and finally I bought these Nike Teresina sandals. I liked that it didnt have a back-ankle-strap so it makes it easier for me to just slip in and out of it. They look cool and wears comfortably. I'm pretty happy with them but my sister keeps wearing them and I only get to wear them once awhile. So now I'm looking for another pair to get for sister so that I can get my Teresina's back.

There are two reasons why I'm excited about this post - because I don't get what all the hype about Crocs are about and because it's the Fall Season and there's no more use for the Crocs! Yippie!

Here's a Crocs alternative from Juicy Couture Shearling Ultra-Comfy Clogs. They definitely look more comfy than Crcocs. $175 at Neiman Marcus.

Here's a more subdued design by Marc Jacobs. Unlike the revolutionized peep-toe-surrealist pump, this portrays sweetness and innocence. The ruffled borders are just the right thickness and anything wider will make it look cheap. I'm imagining these with a pink 1950s full skirt with a simple white blouse for the day and for the evening, a short silk dress (pink or black) with white pearls (if pink dress) or pink pearls (if black dress). They can be found at Bergdorf Goodman for $485.

Donna Karan - Suede Ballerina Flats

Gucci's I Would Wear With a Corsett (SEXY!)

Stumbled upon these vinttage-looking Gucci's while online shopping at Neiman Marcus. THEY ARE NOT OXFORDS! Though you could say that they are the sisters of oxfords because the are really Mary Janes and Platform Sandals. But yes, I still think that I've seen enough similar looking Oxfords this season.

The number one shoe I would wear with a sexy black laced-up corsett would be the Eva High Heel Platform Sandals going for $635. I like that its half patent-half suede and I also like the wing tip detail.

Next would be these Ribot High Heel Platform Shoe Bootie, $750. I'm just a little confused with the name though, why is it a 'platform shoe' and a 'bootie'. Isn't a bootie a type of shoe already? Anyway, of course I like this shoe because it is suede but aside from that I like the metallic gold eyelet accent. The little gold on black gives it a nice classy touch.

Finally would be these Dahlia High Heel Platform Mary-Jane Pumps, $795. I wouldn't really care what I wear these with, but definitely something short enough to show off the garter-belt-like detail at the ankle. I'm not sure why there's the gold-plate-tap-dancing nose at the platform but it doesn't bother me that much, so its okay.

So there you have it, the 3 Fall Gucci's I would wear with a corsett.

Marc Jacobs - The Surrealist

There were mixed reactions to the Marc Jacobs show last week (yes, I'm kinda late with this article, but WTH). Fashion critics either loved it or hated it. Personally I think that the collection was thought-provoking and innovative, though some critics felt that he was going mad and running out of ideas. But that's what Surrealism is all about - an atypical and bizarre expression of art. I guess the critics were just mad because the show started 2hrs late. I thought fashion encouraged unconventional designs such as this. But what do I know, I'm just a laptop critic and I'm not even in the fashion industry, just fashion lover.

More Classic Oxfords

So what did I tell you about stilletto oxfords? Yeap, they are slowly making their way OUT! Just after i wrote that article on the Urban Outfitters Swear Oxfords, I found this one in Style.Com's 'NYC IT List'. This is a Narciso Rodriguez 'Metallic Tie-up Oxfords' and they were just featured in the London Spring 08 Fashion Week. I suppose we'll be seeing a lot more of these next season. I can't wait to see how their going to customize these - two-tones probably, zippers? hmm..

Urban Outfitters - Swear Oxfords

Finally, an alternative to the Stilleto Oxfords! (I thought I was the only one waiting for a change). There has been a flash-flood of Stilleto oxfords this summer/fall. Designers have tried in many ways to customize it to their own design - two-tones, zippers, holes and from my last post, pom-pom fringes. But sometimes, a whole new thing is refreshing. Though these oxfords are usually worn by guys, but who ever said that girls couldn't wear them. This is one of the perks of being a girl, you can wear guy stuff and it wouldn't look wierd, but a guy in stilleto's.. hmmmm???

Christian Louboutin - The Fringe Collection

Here's a change from the usual patent leather oxfords. There's just too many of those around nowadays - all with the buckles and the zippers. The suede gives it a soft snuggly look and the ruffles a feminine touch, a contrast to the common biker girl/sexy vixen/pussycat doll designs we've seen so far.

I've got to admit, I am a Louboutin girl! He always manages to put in an uncommon twist in his designs, such as this one. These 'Fringe Front Ankle Boots' are going for $1145 at Neiman Marcus.

Here's another fringe design by CL. These are the 'Fringe Peep-Toe Sandals' going for $1020 also at Neiman Marcus. These cha-cha styled heels would work very well with a short flowy dress, possibly made of chiffon. The color of the dress wouldn't really matter since the sandal is black. A rich and flowery design would be suitable for a socialite event and a solid colored chiffon for a business event, possibly black as well.. but then again, a silver-ish chiffon would also look good. Just think - what would you wear to go for a cha-cha?

Manolo's Exclusives?

I don't know about these 'EXCLUSIVE' Manolo Blahnik sandals for Neiman Marcus.. I am almost 80% sure that I've seen something exactly like them from Stuart Weitzman about a year ago and I'm almost certain that these were the 'Stuart Weitzman' sandal my cousin wore on her wedding day. Okay fine, there are many similar looking sandals around but I guess I expected more from Manolo Blahnik - especially since Sex In The City dedicatedly featured Blahniks in most of its episodes. But I'm not sure who's to be blamed - Neiman Marcus for choosing this shoe as their 'exclusive' or Manolo Blahnik for the design?

Talk about attention-grabbing, this shoe made me stare at it for quite awhile. How would you walk in these? The wedge looks at least 3.5" but the toes are as flat as it can get. You would basically be tiptoe-ing all the way. Looking at the ergonomics of the shoe, I'm skeptical about its comfortability. The huge difference between the heel and toe has got to effect some balancing because naturally, one would be more inclined to lean to the front when wearing this. OUCH- it's got to hurt!

Please don't judge me, for I have a confession to make - I don't know how to walk in flats! Yeap, it's true that's why I prefer heels. Heels are easier to walk in. I can walk in sneakers, but sneakers are different - I can't walk in flats.

But I got to give it to her, she's smart, she's got style and she does not waste an ounce of talent she's got in her, no matter how small. She pursues her ambitions, uses her advantages to the fullest and gives it a slam-dunk. If compared to Lindsay, Britney and the rest who fall in that twisted category, I must admit that I respect Paris Hilton and all that she's done.

Was shopping in the Kitson Webbie and found this hottie.. (ah.. yes, yes, you would have guessed my taste by now - heels, some string-y kinda design).

Chanel - Patent and Signature Chanel Design

I totally forgot that today is Sunday - was about to call all my usual suspects to wish them 'good morning'. hehe.. good thing I didn't or they'd be real angry at me for disturbing their sweet Sunday slumber. I'm not usually up this early on a Sunday either (not unless my mom remembers to wake me up for the family Sunday-walk-at-the-park), but I'm working today and in this part of the country the first day of the week starts on a Sunday instead of a Monday. So technically, I only got a half day's rest because on Friday (when it is a weekend over here) I was working in another part of the country where Friday is not a weekend). Phew.. hectic but I'm LOVING IT... hehe

Talk about taking things for granted, I forgot what it is like to not have an internet connection at home. Today I had to pay 15 bucks to use the internet for an hour. I just needed to print my plane ticket for 5mins but since I was already charged 15 bucks, wth, let's blog. hehe..

I found this new Chanel Patent on one of my favorite sites.
I would wear this with shorts and a cute blouse. Pumps are sexy to begin with and the straps gives it a naughty look - that's double sexy for me. Plus its a patent leather - so I'm giving it tripple sexy points (hehe). I like the little Chanel signature quilt design they added to the heel. Even without the 'Double-Cs' you can immediately know that it's a Chanel. These are going for $750 at Chanel boutiques.

Patent still IN this Fall!!

Whoever thought that patent leather was slowly fading away is so so wrong. This will be the 2nd winter we will be walking in patent leathers. So yes, don't throw them out just yet and in fact there are new designs out to add to our shiny collection. Patent leather this year will come in the fall/winter 2007 colors aside from the usual B&W, such as chilli pepper and carafe. In fact, I saw some already in chilli pepper. I'll write about it, once I can get some pictures. But here's one patent that I like. It's a Christian Louboutin Patent Leather Zip in French Bootie. I like this French Boot design but haven't found a nice way to wear it. Would appreciate some advice :)

I would wear this during the fall but not the winter though. Actually I've never worn anything with heels less than 2" wide and higher than 1" high in the winter but I've seen some people wearing 3"-4" heels and strutting confidently in them. I wish I could do the same, but I'm not willing to risk a broken ankle or knee.. hehe..

Marni - White Wedges

This shoe reminds me of a Japanese clog (especially the front part of the wedge). I guess it was inspired by a clog. I won't usually pick a shoe like this because it's a slip-on. I would prefer that my shoes stick to my feet when I'm walking.But I when I first saw this shoe, I thought that it looked real comfortable to wear because of the design of the wedge and also because it is made of wood. At the first look, I thought that the sole is wood too, but it is actually leather. The upper-parts are made of calf-skin and this whole combination makes it real comfortable. It's $558, but is now going for 50%. I guess this shoe has been out for quite some time now as there aren't many sizes available (including mine :( )
