Pantone's Fall 2013 Color Forecast

Pantone has released it's forecast for this fall among the forecast green has top the chart as being the most used color by designers, particularly deep lichen green, which reminds more of an army green just a little lighter in hue. Deep Lichen Green, Turbulence (gray) and Mykonos Blue ranked within the top 5 colors that designers are using for both their women and men's collections. (WWD)

Rihanna's Sexy Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Looks

As previously reported Rihanna was due to perform her new single "Diamonds" on during Victoria's Secret hit fashion show. On Wednesday RiRi wrapped up taping for the show in Manhattan at the 69th Regiment Armory. Rihanna performed her new single Diamonds in a black strapless floor length gown with a high split, black thigh highs, lace gloves, a 6 row pearl choker and matching sunglasses by Chanel. She later changed into a pink lace mini dress to perform "Phresh Out the Runway." Tune in on Dec. 4th on CBS to catch the full show.

L'Oreal Paris has named Julianne Moore as the spokesperson for their new anti aging skin care line, Cellular Renaissance. The line is set to debut in Europe in January 2013, Moore will also be the face of products in the US. (WWD)

Iman has add BB creams to her line of cosmetics, to meet the needs of women of color. The IMAN Skin Tone Evener BB Creme which is available in 6 shades covers about 36 skin tones and aids in the correction of hyper pigmentation. Iman's BB Creme will be available just in time for Christmas as it is expected to launch in December. It will retail for $20. (WWD)

The Kardashian sister's are launching their new cosmetic line Khroma this winter at Ulta stores, however, the name of the line isn't sitting too well with Beverly Hills makeup studio Chroma. Chroma perceives that the Kardashian's cosmetic line Khroma will be confusing to customers. Chroma which has no filed a lawsuit against the Kardashians has taken matters into their own hands by posting a letter on their website informing customers that they are not affiliated with the Kardashian's cosmetics line. Chroma are quoted as saying they are NOT endorsing "low budget" cosmetic products that will be sold in mass retailer outlets. (WWD)

Rihanna to perform at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Rihanna is set to perform a few of her hit songs during the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show airing on Dec. 4th on CBS. Rihanna is expected to perform her newest hit song "Diamonds." Justin Bieber is also said to be taking the stage to perform at the show. (HuffPost)

In other RiRi news; according to Daily Mail, dispute attempts to save Rihanna's British fashion show "Styled to Rock," the show has been cancelled due to poor ratings. However, it is alleged that the US's Style Network has picked up the show sans Rihanna.

Basketball Wives LA star and wife of the Wizard's guard Jannero Pargo is reaping great rewards from her cutesy Three Beats kids jewelry line. Will she reap the same rewards with her apparent Eternal Impressions wedding band for men?

Apparently, Mrs. Pargo had the clever idea to design a wedding band with the word "married" the inside of ring. Your probably thinking what's so special about that. Well, the word married is actually raised, which in turn will leave a nice little stamp that says "married" on the top of a man's finger when he takes the ring off. Quite clever, however I'm figuring that the stamp will fade away within a few hours maybe, but none the less a cool idea.

If your interested in stamping your man, you can purchase the ring from the Jason of Beverly Hills store in the Wilshire Hotel for about $4,000. The ring is available in platinum, white gold, gold and black gold and has paved diamonds.

Malaysia named her Three Beat jewelry line after her three children that she shares with her husband. Malaysia said her children are "the three heartbeats after her own heart." Malaysia has partnered will well known celebrity jewelry designer Jason Arasheben, Arasheben is also known as Jason of Beverly Hills.

Fashion Obituaries: G-III Founder Aron Goldfarb Dies

G-III founder, Aron Goldfarb succumbed to his long standing illness on Oct. 8, 2012. Goldfarb is a Holocaust survivor and author of "Maybe You'll Survive" a memior about his struggle growing up in Bialobrzegl, Poland and his life in Treblinka concentration camp.

Goldfarb founded G&N Sportswear in 1956, his son Morris Goldfarb joined what is now known as G-III in 1972. Morris Goldfarb current holds the Chief Executive Officer position. G-III Apparel Group is a premiere manufacturer which produces luggage, handbags, dresses, women's suits as well as men and women's outerwear. Some of the brands that G-III holds licenses for are Ellen Tracy, Sean John, Guess, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger etc. (WWD, G-III)

Get A Bag For 99 Cents on Rodeo Drive

After purchasing that $2,890 Louis Vuitton Artsy MM from Louie's Rodeo Drive store, walk another block or two and buy a 99 cent gift bag to put it in. According to WWD, 99 Cents Only Stores believes that the richest people in the world are often the cheapest people. I can actually somewhat agree with this thought, I have come in contact with or read about wealthy individuals who are quite frugal, hence this is one of the reasons why they tend to stay wealthy.
99 Cents Only Stores are in the market to purchase real estate on Rodeo Drive. To back up their claims that a store on Rodeo Drive will perform well, 99 Cents Only Store said their highest sales volume store is located a few blocks from Beverly Hills. I think that this could actually work given that the store has a more upscale store front, a merchandising revamp, and better gift bag designs. :) Regardless of where you go most gift bags are not going to run you any more than $5-$8 depending on the design and size of the bag. What do you think about a 99 Cents Only Store on Rodeo Drive?

Balenciaga RTW S13: My Top 4 Picks

Balenciaga showed it's Spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection in Paris today. The collection was full of pieces that give illusions of what they are and what they are made of. I myself thought this was pretty remarkable on Balenciaga's designer, Nicholas Ghesquiére part to create garments that are not at all what they appears to be. These are my top four picks from the collection.

My initial thought was this is a really cute handkerchief hem skirt and leather top. According to WWD the skirt is actually shorts or skort and the top is not leather at all its embroidered guipure with a vein-like motif.

Yet again I thought what a cute tweed skirt and lace top. Wrong! Well, about the skirt being tweed. The skirt is actually made of multi-layering embroidered fabric. I would love to have this lace top in my closet.

The illusion of the leather top falls by the wayside here, and your better able to tell that the top is guipure.

I love ruffles and the black and white gives this look a touch of elegance.

Jessica Simpson Boot

Yesterday, I did a little birthday gift shopping and started Christmas shopping which was not in my plans. Generally start Christmas shopping by mid-October therefore I'm not impulsive shopping on Black Friday and after. All the miniature size stuff in pretty packaging gets me, I'll just buy it and say it's going to be a stocking stuffer, so to avoid all that I started Christmas shopping earlier and I'm usually done by Black Friday. Anyway I saw these Jessica Simpson boots yesterday at Marshall's and I thought they were cute so I started looking for my size and was disappointed when I did not see anything larger than a 8, but then as I look over to the left at the bottom voilá there was a size 10. So, I'm hoping & praying that they fit and they didn't so I was disappointed again. Oh, well my hunt for cute boots will continue.

Mugler's creative director Nicola Formichetti consistently received requests from the fashion house clientele to produce leather handbags, he finally decide to take the plunge and create a leather goods collection that will debut at Mugler's Spring 2013 runway show in Milan.
Formichetti spoke to WWD about the collection saying, "It has more of a punk rock feeling, but it's still quite chic." Formichetti drew inspiration from Thierry Mugler's archives and more surprisingly Lady Gaga's butt.

Empire State Building Gunman Worked In Fashion Industry

Jeffery Johnson, 51, a disgruntled former employee of Hazan Imports, shot and killed Steve Ercolino, 41, vice president of sales at Hazan Imports. Johnson worked under the leadership of Ercolino as a accessories designer at the company until he was laid off last year. About 9 am Friday morning, Johnson dressed in business attire, fatally shot Ercolino in front of the Empire State Building with a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun. It has been reported that Johnson and Ercolino did not get along and that both men had filed complaints about one another. Johnson reportedly had an ongoing dispute with Ercolino over allegations of harassment at the work place. Johnson was fatally shot by police after he turned his gun on officers. Nine others have been reported wounded. (CNN)
