Previous Episode's Recap: And the competition begins!! The Top 20 are paired up and perform for the judges and America. This year, America gets to start voting at the top 20. Choreographers include Tyce Diorio, Christopher Scott and Travis Wall. Megan Mullally appears as a special guest judge. America's vote will reveal which three couples from the Top 20 will be in the bottom 3. After the bottom dancers perform solos for the Judges, Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and special guest judge, Megan Mullally, must decide which guy and which girl will be sent home. Special Musical Performer is Keri Hilton. Special Guest Dancer is Russian Dancer Gennadi Saveliev.

Since no one was sent home last week, the 20 top dancers perform again, hoping to earn America' vote. Because no one when home last week, the vote is even more important because this week two of the three couples in the bottom three with be sent home.

That means, only one couple in the bottom three will survive. Debbie Reynolds joins the judges panel for this show. Routines include hip-hop, jazz, Broadway,Bollywood and Cha-Cha choreographed by such greats as Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo, Jean-Marc Genereux, Mandy Moore, Spencer Liff and more.

Since no one was sent home last week, the judges - Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Debbie Reynolds - must select 4 dancers from the bottom six to eliminate. The top 8 couples (top 16 dancers) remained paired together and perform various dance styles including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Foxtrot, Contemporary and Broadway. The dancers are also broken into two groups of eight and each group performs a routine. Choreographers include Napoleon & Tabitha Dumo, Dee Caspary, Tyce Diorio and Sonya Tayeh. Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy are joined on the judges panel with Lil' C and Kristin Chenoweth.

Two dancers will be voted off, leaving 14 dancers. The top 14 dancers perform for the judges and America. Two dancers will be sent home. The top 12 dancers will be revealed. The top 12 dancers perform for the judges and America. Two more dancers are eliminated, revealing the Top 10. The top 10 dancers dance for the judges and America. Two more dancers learn they have been eliminated.

'Juaning' threatens north Luzon; death toll now at 20

MANILA, Philippines – The death toll from Tropical Storm Juaning (international codename: Nock-Ten) climbed to 20 as nine others remained missing, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Wednesday.

A family of five was confirmed dead when a landslide hit their house in Camarines Norte early Wednesday, Office of Civil Defense Region 5 Director Rafaelito Alejandro IV said.

In a text message sent to members of the media, Alejandro said the landslide happened at the home of the Casero family around 1 a.m. Wednesday in Barangay (village) Sta Rosa Norte, Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte, one of the affected provinces.

Alejandro identified the victims as Alfredo Casero, 62, Ofelia Casero, 56, Richard Casero, 23, Marian Casero, 18 and one year old Edgar Casero. Their remains have been taken to a funeral parlor, Alejandro said.

Cristy de Mesa, 13 of Barangay (village) Sto. Nino in Mulanay, Quezon, drowned, the NDRRMC reported earlier on Wednesday.

The NDRRMC reported earlier in the day that the seven other casualties were from Albay, two in Catanduanes, two in Cavite and one each from Camarines Sur, Marinduque and Iloilo.

Meanwhile, three persons were reported missing in Albay, two from Perez, Quezon, two in Catanduanes and one each in Lucena City and 1 in Camarines Norte.

Meanwhile, 31 others were injured although they have yet to be identified.

The NDRRMC also estimated the number of affected population at 129,576 families or 645,137 persons. Most of the affected population were from Camarines Sur and Albay. Flooding incidents were monitored in several villages in Daraga, Polangui, Ligao City, Oas and Legaspi City all in Albay, Nabua, Baao, Bato, Buhi, Pasacao, Pamplona, Iriga City and Naga City all in Camarines Sur.

Flooding incidents also occurred in several villages in San Francisco, Mulanay and Lopez all in Quezon province.

Heavy rains also triggered landslides in Sitio (sub-village) Caginsa, Barangay (village) Casay, San Francisco in Quezon province. In Region 5, landslides also occurred in the towns of Presentacion, Tinambac, Labawan, Buhi, Camangahan, Balatan all in Camarines Sur; Barangay Darao, Caramoan town in Catanduanes and; Gabon town in Polangui Albay.

Nock-ten, a Laotian word for bird, is the 10th of about 21 typhoons and storms expected to lash the Philippines this year, according to an Associated Press report.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault by a young woman in Georgia.

Officers said the alleged assault occurred early Friday morning in Milledgeville, about 85 miles southeast of Atlanta.

According to law enforcement sources, the alleged victim -- who has already been interviewed by police -- was treated at a local hospital and released.

"He's been identified as being at the scene and there are allegations naming him as the perpetrator," Deputy Chief Richard Malone said. Malone said Roethlisberger had been with three other people who were mingling with another group that included the alleged victim. Malone said the woman and her party contacted a nearby police officer following the alleged assault.

Steelers spokesman Dave Lockett said the team was gathering information and had no more comment.

This is interesting, but we need to hear his side of it first before making judgment on this.

Marie Osmond son's death is apparently suicide and it's currently under investigations. Michael Blosil, was found dead on the ground below an apartment balcony last light in Los Angeles. A Los Angeles police spokesman said a suicide occurred Friday night in the area between 9 and 10 p.m., but the victim’s name and details had not been released.

ETOnline reports that Michael Blosil left a note behind to explain that he was committing suicide after dealing with a lifelong battle with depression and feeling as if he had no friends and could not fit in to this world.

"My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time," ABC quoted the entertainer as saying.

Marie Osmond is a member of the Osmond family of singers that rose to fame in the 1970s. Marie and her brother Donny hosted a hit TV variety show, which featured appearances by their seven brothers. The Osmond Brothers and Donny and Marie also recorded several hit singles. More recently, Marie Osmond appeared on the popular TV show "Dancing With the Stars," and she and Donny are currently headlining a Las Vegas show.

Ventura California Tsunami Watch. According to the National Weather service , a tsunami advisory is in effect for coastal areas of California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alaska from the California-Mexico border to Alaska. Ventura tsunami watch California follows the tsunami path from the Chile 8.8 earthquake to the Hawaii Hilo tsunami to Ventura CA. Earlier today Ventura California beaches suffered damage. Currently there is still a Ventura tsunami watch California.

Reports indicate that navigational buoys in Ventura Harbor have been damaged; no other reports of damage. The largest observed tide gauge reading was recorded in Santa Monica at 2.2 feet.

The current Tsunami Advisory includes parts of coastal California, Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and areas of Alaska.

Velasquez drops Nogueira at UFC 110

SYDNEY – Cain Velasquez passed his first major test, planting himself firmly into championship contention with a first-round stoppage of former heavyweight champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at 2:20 of the first round in UFC 110 before 17,431 at Acer Arena on Saturday (Sunday in Australia).

Velasquez landed a right hand, a left hand on top of the head and followed it with a right hook on the chin that knocked Nogueiera onto his back. Velasquez immediately pounced upon him and finished him with five punches on the ground.

Referee Herb Dean hopped in to stop it.

“I wanted to stay in good position and beat him to the punch when I could,” said Velasquez, who is now 8-0 overall and 6-0 in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Velasquez, a former wrestling standout at Arizona State, could get the next shot at heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Frank Mir and Shane Carwin will meet for the interim title at UFC 111 on March 27. If the winner is healthy enough, he’ll meet Lesnar in July or August. If not, Velasquez will get the shot. And as he proved, he’s a legitimate championship contender.

Wanderlei Silva won an emotional victory over Michael Bisping, using a late knockdown to pull out a unanimous decision victory in Silva’s debut at middleweight.

The fight was even after two rounds on all three cards and the fight hung in the balance as the clock wound down. But the former PRIDE middleweight champion landed a huge windmill overhand right that landed behind Bisping’s left ear.

Bisping went down, but there was only about six seconds left and he was unable to finish it.

The bout didn’t have the high-octane punches many expected, but was a very good technical battle. After the fight, Silva, who had plastic surgery to remove scar tissue and help open breathing passages in his nose, began to weep.

“In life, we all have bad moments,” Silva said. “Everybody has bad moments, but if you believe in God and work hard, the good moments are going to come.”

They came for Silva late in this grudge match, which featured a lot of trash talking. Bisping was animated when the decision was announced, but was gracious later.

He praised Silva as an icon of the sport. He knew, though, the final knockdown was key. “I think the reason he got the decision was the knockdown at the end,” Bisping said.

George Sotiropoulos thrilled the large crowd with a superb jiu-jitsu performance in a back-and-forth ground battle with Joe “Daddy” Stevenson.

Sotiropoulos, a native of Geelong, Australia, dominated the first round, mostly on the ground, putting Stevenson in several bad positions.

Stevenson fought back and each of the last two rounds were close, but Sotiropoulos did enough to win each of them. All three judges had it 30-27 for Sotiropoulos, as did Yahoo! Sports.

Light heavyweight Ryan Bader, the winner of Season 8 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” knocked out veteran Keith Jardine with a powerful left hook in the third round. Bader hurt Jardine with a right hand.

He tried a flying knee that only partially landed, but he followed Jardine to the cage and ripped him with a left hook. Jardine fell in a heap, his right leg behind him, and referee Josh Rosenthal quickly jumped in to stop it.

Heavyweight Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic manhandled late replacement Anthony Perosh and stopped him at the end of the second round on a bad cut. Filipovic opened the cut with an elbow while he was in Perosh’s guard. The fight was stopped between rounds.

Chris Lytle submitted Brian Foster with a knee bar at just 1:41 of the first after Foster took his back.

Krzysztof Sosyznski won by third-round technical knockout over Stephan Bonnar when a clash of heads opened a huge gash on Bonnar’s forehead. Replays showed it was clearly a head butt, but referee John Sharp ruled it a punch and so when the fight was stopped, it was recorded as a knockout.
