It’s incredible to think that you can now wirelessly charge your gadgets, although my electric toothbrush has had it for ages, simply by putting a case on it. The latest and greatest Amazon Kindle has recently been released. They claim the screen has 50% better contrast than the previous model, and thanks to it’s “new sleek design” it is 17% lighter than the previous as well. Weighing in at a mere 241 grams, it’s probably lighter than any of the paperbacks you would be reading if you didn’t own one.

There are two models available. One with 3G + WiFi (£149) and one with just WiFi (£109). The 3G version has no contract, the cost of the 3G service is included in the buying price. The new Kindle can hold up to 3,500 books at one time, and you can easily bookmark your position in these books for latter. Another useful feature is that it is all connected to your account with Amazon. So if you buy a book through any of their services (Kindle iPad app, iPhone app, on your PC or on your Kindle) then you can read the book on any of the aforementioned gadgets. Neat huh?
