Erin Andrews Gets Chords Pulled, Takes Ball In The Chin

Total Pro Sports - New York has not been too kind to sports' hottest sideline reporter, Erin Andrews. First someone was tugging on her chords during a live ESPN interview. Then she was struck in the chin by an Alex Cora foul ball in the 4th inning and taken to a nearby hospital a few innings later with a bruised chin. The worst part of it all? She missed this unbelievable play in the 7th inning by Daniel Murphy.

The chord tugging incident occurred prior to the game, just as Erin appeared on air. She appears angry at first but plays it off quite well, if you ask me. A lot better than this guy. And besides, she does have quite the hot "angry face." It's nice to see her get a little aggressive once in a while.

Later on in the night, TMZ reported that Erin was struck in the chin by a foul ball. We hope that there was no lasting damage done to her face, and word seems to be that there isn't. If there was, I guess we could always resort to the Erin Andrews butt cam.

Total Pro Sports - It sure is hot in Las Vegas these days. So hot that even bras are being sacrificed to help keep some ladies cool. Only problem is that may become somewhat distracting in the poker rooms at the WSOP. Too bad they can't try this on the tennis courts.

With that being said, we bring you exhibit A: Brad Garrett's (Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond) girlfriend, Isabella. Camera's caught a glimpse of this hottie watching her man shoot some cards, and its a good thing they did. Sporting a light blue tank-top, Isabella's breasts are visible to the naked eye and they look fabulous. I wonder if Phil Ivey has placed any bets on their size? I'll put $100 on 32B.

The main event is currently under way and last year's champion, Peter Eastgate, is still in contention. At least someone isn't being distracted by Isabella's rack.

Total Pro Sports - The Michael Jackson tributes continue. Refraining from pulling off any kind of stupid act, a la Arland Bruce, Ken Griffey Jr. stepped to the plate during his first at-bat Tuesday night against the Baltimore Orioles, with "Billy Jean" playing and wearing one white glove.

Griffey during that first inning at bat and scored on a Franklin Gutierrez home run. He would switch back to his classic two black gloves for the remainder of the game.

So what's next? Maybe Kobe Bryant will come out for his first game next season with a bucket of KFC, in memory of Magic Johnson's MJ story. While they are at it, he may also want to have Ron Artest's "Michael, Michael" blasting in the background. Good thing Griffey refrained from using it. "Billy Jean" was a good choice Ken.

Jordan Crawford Talks About His Dunk On LeBron

Total Pro Sports - This is one video that LeBron's camp and Nike could not stop from getting out. Following his vicious media-censored dunk over LeBron James that has the entire sporting world in awe (even though no one has seen it), cameras caught up with Jordan Crawford to talk about play.

You can bet this is one moment that Crawford will not soon forget. So how did he explain it?

"I was coming from the right wing, and I came down the middle and (LeBron) just happened to be there.

"When it happened, it really didn't hit me yet. I was geek about it more than anything, just because it's LeBron."

Well this certainly does not make up for what we still want to see, but at least we can now work with something and allow our imagination to do the rest. Me personally? I was thinking about something along the lines of this, just substitute the child with LeBron.

Do We Really Need All These Capes To Dunk?

Total Pro Sports - First it was Dwight Howard donning the cape of Superman. Then Nate Robinson followed suit with his Krypto-nate act. Now we have Keion Bell doing his best Batman impression. Enough with the capes already!

This clip is from Kobe Bryant's Basketball Academy. The players in attendance are putting on a dunking show for the fans and it's Bell's turn to make an impression. He positions two other players in front of the rim and begins to run towards the basket, as if he is going to attempt to dunk over them both.

At the final second he peels off and the crowd gets worried. Did he pull something or get injured? No! He was just going to get his stupid Batman cape.

Bell puts it on and performs the dunk. If you ask me, he could have made it without the extra Batman-boost.

Also of note was the fact that Kobe Bryant was not one of the individuals that Bell leaped over for his dunk. Smart move Kobe! You don't want to be making headlines, like LeBron, for getting dunked over by a high schooler.

Sahel Kazemi Booked For DUI Week Before McNair Murder (w/ Video)

Total Pro Sports - A week that concluded with Sahel Kazemi taking the life of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair, began with her being arrested for driving under the influence. The police cruiser present at the scene caught footage of the incident, which is now circulating throughout the internet.

McNair's mistress was stopped by an officer late at night in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this month. After failing a roadside sobriety test, she was put in the back of the cruiser and taken to the station. While in the car, she was given the opportunity to call a friend to pick up her vehicle. It is anyone's guess if that individual was McNair.

I am still left to wonder how such a video got out and why the police would release it. Likely having nothing to do with the murder case, it seems as though it is just another piece of evidence that will be used to tarnish the reputation of a young lady whose life ended too early, and took another along with it.

Total Pro Sports - You may have to watch this one twice to truly believe what you are seeing. Even Joe Torre was not convinced with what had just occurred in front of his eyes, hence his seemingly endless trot out to first base umpire Marty Foster.

During last night's game between the Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers in New York, Mark Loretta drilled a ball down the first base line. As Mets' first baseman Daniel Murphy went to chase it down, it bounced off the bag and into the air. Murphy quickly changed his direction, grabbed the ball, and flipped it behind his back somehow to pitcher Bobby Parnell, who was covering at first. It was a close play, one which could have gone to the runner, but when someone pulls of something that impressive, it's hard not to give it to him.

The great play would not go to waste as the Mets ended up taking this one 5-4 over the Dodgers. Hopefully Milton Bradley was watching and taking notes on how to play the field. That was a play that not many can make. Not even an oversized pitcher, or a ball girl, not to downplay their terrific plays with the glove.

Total Pro Sports - On Tuesday night it was Paul Konerko terrorizing the opposing pitchers. Last night it was Andruw Jones' turn to do the same. you can be Ervin Santana will be having nightmares of the Texas Rangers DH over the next couple of days.

Continuing a trend that has seen the Rangers dominate the Los Angeles Angels throughout this season, Jones led his team on their way to a 8-1 dismantling of their division foes. Going 3 for 5, he made the most of his hits, taking each one over the outfield fence, two coming off Santana and the other in the 5th inning off Rich Thompson. In the end, Jones had 4 RBIs to go along with his three homers, earning himself "The Stat Line Of The Night" for Wednesday, July 8th, 2009.

These victories continnue to be big ones for the Rangers as their domination in the season series against the Angels has helped them claim top spot in the AL West. Should they find themselves in first at the end of the season, they will look back on their series against the Angels as the key to such success.
