We are delighted to announce the launch of Hellas Holiday, a new and innovative travel platform for holidays in Greece. After the successful travel website GoTrotting for holidays in Switzerland, which was released a few years ago, Hellas Holiday belongs to the second generation of travel platforms and it is based on our many years of experience in the holidays-and-travel field. In fact, Hellas Holiday is based on an in-house built travel software bundle, which we had been busy developing during 2011.

Website monitoring project launched

We are thrilled to announce that our project for 2010, named HTTPMon (for HTTP Monitoring), has been successfully launched this autumn. This is our fourth big project and this way we perpetuate our ritual of releasing one big project per year.

Nowadays, it is really more than crucial that websites strive for a 100% uptime. Unfortunately, there are no easy ways to find out if this is true and therefore one has to trust their web hosting provider. With this in mind, we developed a simple and easy-to-use website monitoring tool, called HTTPMon, using the HTTP protocol to check your website’s availability at frequent regular intervals and report its status to you. In addition, this website monitoring tool will gather information about the network IP address, the web server software used and other relevant details.

The project-associated blog, called HTTP Website Monitoring Blog, will keep you updated with the latest news related to this innovative project. Besides, you will be able to follow the development and advances, giving you an insight into this useful web 2.0 tool.

This project was previously using Google’s custom search engine to search through various auction items, but unfortunately the results delivered were not satisfying enough, as a lot of important pages and thus items were missing. Yahoo! Search, on the contrary, delivers high-quality and content-rich results, enabling users to find their desired item more easily and faster, browsing through the various categories found on the Time Offers webpage, such as antiques, collectibles, watches and jewelry to name a few. We are very happy about this strategic search engine change and hope that Time Offers users will appreciate it as much as we do.

Almost three years without a web presence!

Finally, we have made it and have a web presence after almost three years of existence as company. How many marketing companies do you know of that survive without a corporate website? Well, this can be explained by the fact that we were pretty busy during these years with our own projects and gave full priority to these for our success. In fact, we already started this website one and a half year ago, but something always came in between, delaying its launch.

It makes sense that for an internet marketing company, a web presence nowadays is more than required for its survival. We can be proud to have survived without one and to be honest we are still quite busy enhancing or re-lifting our current projects.
