        <summary type="html">Hello to the remaining few folks who continue to check back here on a regular basis. Thank you! I just wanted to let everyone know that I've officially left my engineering job to pursue the photography business full time. These are exciting times for the Joneses.         <summary type="html">Special thanks to our friend Scott Kelby for inviting Rose and I to join the NAPP crew at the first Photoshop World held here in Washington, DC. So far, it has been a blast. Rose and I spent yesterday in all day preconference classes with David Ziser and Frank Doorhof getting more intensive 'one on one' instruction. Today the conference opened with a hilarious political themed keynote. Think live coverage by PNN (photoshop news network) of a convention where Scott Kelby, Matt Kloskowski and others were vying to become the next president of the US! Awesome!         <summary type="html">Leaving our friends at Whiteman AFB, Rose and I headed north to spend the night in Omaha. With a long day of driving ahead of us, we got up early and started driving toward South Dakota. For those of you who haven't experienced the part of our nation that this drive includes, let me describe it to you. Long. Straight. Flat. Corn. Wind Turbine. Repeat.         <title>Anniversary Across America (Part 1) - Whiteman AFB</title>

        <summary type="html">Last July, Rose and I celebrated 10 wonderful years of marriage by spending twelve days together traveling across the country taking in the sites (and shooting A LOT of pictures). Our first stop on that trip was in Missouri for a weekend of visiting some dear friends and spending time with the wonderful men and women of the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base. We've found, more often than not, that when a great consultation leads to an engagement session, and that engagement session leads to a wedding, and at that wedding things just click, then it's not too long until you're taking photos like this one... I took this past Friday off, and Rose and I took the girls up to Shenandoah National Park, to one of my favorite spots, the Dark Hallow Falls.         <summary type="html">I'm going to just allow my inner nerd to surface on this one, because quite frankly I thought this was the coolest. Rose and I shot a wedding last summer up in St. Michael's, Maryland at Harbourtowne Country Club where, during the announcements of the wedding party at the reception, the bridal party carried LIGHTSABERS! That's right, lightsabers - what Jedi couldn't love that kind of entrance! In any event, as the party fired up - a stray lightsaber and bridesmaid bouquet landed in proximity on a table by the dance floor. Natalie's dress and jewerly were very classic and formal, but for her "something blue" these shoes set her apart.         <summary type="html">Natalie and Proben got married in May of last year and this is the first of a few shots from their wedding day that I plan on sharing. Natalie was a simply stunning bride whose sweet and calm demeanor would be occasionally punctuated with bouts of sillyness and laughter. What a blast to photograph!
