I have been looking for a reasonably priced vanity mirror for-EVER but was always out of luck and wasn't hardly about to pay damn near $60.00 for one. Monday (Dec. 26th) I was at Dollar General and literally walked right into several of these lovely boxes... LOL, they were in the aisle of Xmas items marked down for clearance.

I was so shocked to see this thing marked down to $20.00 that I jumped right upon this deal! However once I got to the register, the cashier scanned it and the awesome price of $15.00 popped up! I was even more shocked and VERY happy because I paid $15.00 for a mirror I know is about $25.00 to $30.00 somewhere else!

So I say all that to say if you have a Dollar General in your area and are interested in getting a vanity mirror that lights up, please hurry on over and check them out because right now this is marked at $20.00 but is ringing up for $15.00!!! Check out pics of the mirror out of the box below:

In this video I show you one of the MANY I do my eyebrows after I have applied my foundation. Applying the concealer over top of the foundation creates a natural looking highlight at the arch of the brows and over top of them (WHEN BLENDED THOROUGHLY with a Crease or FLUFFY brush!). I also think that applying foundation first allows me to use LESS concealer than I usually would when I did my brows prior to applying it. Check out the video below:

NYX Girls Lipgloss Swatches (#2): Doll Pink and Strawberry...

This, my friends, is another installment of my ever growing collection of NYX Girls glosses. This time I only have two swatches for you all because the other ones that I bought along with these last week are already featured in my first installment of swatches, which you can find HERE.

...and now to the swatches (taken with and without flash) and my descriptions of each....

Descriptions of each gloss...

Doll Pink: A Magenta or Purplish Pink color ...I guess you could say it's a Pink with Blue Undertones. This gloss is very pigmented and true to color. Although not as pigmented as a lipstick, this gloss is definitely NOT sheer and adds a bold pop to any neutral-ness that may have been going on prior to its application... As I am still on the hunt for very BOLD colors (bright pinks and reds) to add some spice to my face, I LOVE it! This color has done more for me personally than any other bright red or pink lipstick/gloss that I have tried out to date!

Strawberry: A sheer pink gloss w/ shimmer. Although it looks very pigmented and glittery in the bottle, it goes on like a clear pink gloss with some sparkle to it once your lips hit the sunlight. Also, don't be fooled by the glittery-ness of this gloss because although it looks like chunky glitter, you feel and see NOTHING once its on your lips. I would suggest wearing this over a pretty pink lipstick or by itself on a neutral day when you want a wee little bit of a pop to your face.

I got these glosses at my local beauty supply store for only $1.49, which is a great (and cheap) price. Of course you can get these at Sally's and Ulta stores, but I doubt they will be as cheap.

There is a Target coupon for Vicks cold and flu products and a P&G booklet with a good amount of coupons in it for Domino Sugar, Glade, Scrubbing Bubbles and Pledge products. This mag also has TONS of great recipes in it for the holiday season. I suggest yall hurry and check it out before this issue is gone!
