Abstract

The overarching objective of the knowledge and adoption project is to increase the uptake and impact of TRaCK research outcomes.

TRaCK is conducting research to provide the science and knowledge that government, communities and industries need for the sustainable use and management of Australia's tropical rivers and estuaries.

Outcomes

The Knowledge and Adoption team aims to maximize local ownership of TRaCK among the key end users. It is doing this by ensuring that land-holders and managers, natural resource management groups and local communities have opportunities to provide input to and to participate in the research.

The team also aims to ensure that research outputs feed directly into the broader initiatives, and policy and decision making processes of regional natural resource management bodies and state and Commonwealth natural resource management and conservation agencies.
