      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="bbWrapper">Seems I&#039;m encountering many situations where I need to splice 12 volt accessory wiring (spreaders, sprayers, battery maintainers, etc.).  In some cases, I just need to add a new SAE plug to the 2-wire cable.  Does anyone have a good, clean way to do this?  I have tried twisting/soldering wires, end-to-end crimp connections, spade connectors, etc., but they are all very untidy with big globs of electrical tape in the middle of the wire.<br />

I pulled the starter out of the bell housing with the wiring still attached, turned the key and got nothing. The solenoid was kicking the gear in and out. I assumed it was my starter (it may be original).  Put in the new starter and got nothing. My battery tests good, the engine turns by hand. My 2008 2520 has engine issues which I wondered whether anyone can give me an insight into. <br />
It’s only done 380 hours so minimal mechanical wear, and been well looked after, if little used.<br />
On starting, which starts straight away, it white/gray smokes badly and misfires on cylinder 3 (when you crack the injector it makes no difference). <br />
After 5 minutes, when warmed up, the smoke lessens and almost clears, although there are puffs of smoke when increasing revs, and it fires cleanly on...<br />

These saws were way ahead of their time IMO. 1984 Partner 5000 plus and I had a 1979  5000 open port that was strong or stronger.  This makes about 15 or more of these I have had now. Keeping a few back, well maybe. <br />

And we installed rod bearings with engine building grease, but have NOT filled the crankcase with oil yet<br />

I didn’t want the engine getting re-stuck so once a week for the last several months I’d go down and turn the engine over with the hand crank a few times. He purged the system and it came up 2 lbs short of a 2.5 recommended full. Clearly leaking somewhere for some reason. Refilled and its blowing icicle&#039;s now. <br />
QUESTION: Is there a simple fix for this like a system sealant?  OR a gasket replacement?  OR Will I have to replace the whole compressor?<br />

I push the handle to move forward and it&#039;s just barely trying to push forward. Backward doesn&#039;t move at all.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="bbWrapper">I have a woods 7500 backhoe 3 pt hitch type.  Bought it used and I’m guessing it sat for a while.  Ran good for about 10-12 hours.  Now have a problem with all cylinders drifting while running just from gravity.  They all started about the same time.  I’m thinking pressure relief might be leaking by.  Could be worn seals but 3 cylinders at the same time…probably not.  There are check valves and they look clear and again all go bad at the same time, probably not.   Fed from tractor hydraulic...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="bbWrapper">I picked up a 1976 2 Speed Horse with an extra transmission and tires.  Everything looks to be in great shape.  But no engine. <br />
<br />
Now I&#039;m thinking about parting it out and getting a 4 Speed or PTO Horse tiller.  If they are actually a lot better than the 2 speed I just picked up.  Do any of you find the 2 speed lacking?  Are there any significant advantages to the 4 Speed or PTO versions if I&#039;m just tilling soil?  If you were in the market today how would you rank the different Horse tillers...<br />

In either case, I&#039;d want either implement to have scarifiers.  <br />

Ran across the <a href="https://igniteattachments.com/72-box-plane-box-blade-land-grader-in-one" target="_blank" class="link link--external" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">Ignite 2 in 1</a> and it piqued my interest.  What do you guys think?  2 in 1 good idea, bad idea? <br />

This year I&#039;m improving my seed starting operation.  Last year my seedlings failed due to lack of light.  This year I built a grow light stand and I&#039;m going to be using soil blocks instead of plastic cells.<br />
