A Scottish folds's breeder sent me few new kittens' photos the other day. I am madly, deeply in love haha! Unfortnunately they are white with black tipped, almost like Coya boy did, just that these kittens has folded ears!!!! I think they are like Doraemon hehe. The one I'm looking for is blue+white in colour..but its so hard to find a nice one T_T

These cute babies are very rare colour of Scottish Folds, and they are extra adorable!!!!!!!!

Spending the last night this year in Dunedin which is also a Christmas Day. Christmas has never been special to me, not just because it's not my religion but its because I hate to count down =P I'm that boring person. This year is special because its in Dunedin with no shops open!!! T_T

Heading to Auckland for boxing day sales, yay! and heading home on the 27th!

First time in history, my baby Coya boy didn't come home, for 24 hours! I was super duper worried lo! The feeling is undescribable ok! Its like losing your child! Losing a part of yourself!! lol But I'm not exaggerating ok! I felt like something was up my throat and I can't swallow it down! The whole time since after I came back from work. People whom followed me on twitter knows that I twit whole night about my missing coya :P I studied while waiting and decided to go to bed at 5-ish am, and the best part is I woke up at 8.30 in shock! Something I dreamed but not too sure what was it. I woke up finding Coya is not home, I can't fall back to sleep so I decided to wake up and go around the neighbourhood and ask la! Everyone said they saw him YESTERDAY, but NOT TODAY. T_T I also know la, if not I ask for what ler !!@$@%# I woke dai lou up to find him too haha!!

Damn disappointed lo! Then I went to Briscoes to shop some stuff from home! While driving home I was hoping that I would see him when I get home! DISAPPOINTED AGAIN LO! I went to the swing and sat down for a while, walked around, no sign of him. I was so sleepy due to the lack of sleep the night b4, so yea I went home and waited. Just like within 30 minutes or so, HE CAME HOME! WET AND SMELLY! HUNGRY AND TERRIFIED. I really hope to know where he went, but anyway THANK GOD he is home now! He smelled like "drain water" seriously! So I decided to give in and shower for him la! (I'm too cheapskate to spend 60 dollars for grooming :P plus he didn't like that place)

TRY SHOWER FOR HIM AND YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF. He hate water so badly that he PEE while showering T_T. Thank god dai lou helped me too! I still get like 4 scratches! 3 on my colllar bone there and 1 my palm so painful :( It's like a little swollen now! !!!

Anyway, my baby Coya is super white and clean and soft and smells so good now ^_^ and he is safe back home! I'm very happy and very glad. I hope this does not happen again. Can't handle man, too heartache!

Procrastinating n fishing experience!

My life is getting worst as CFA is approaching! 26 days to be exact! What I do everyday is, sleep, wake up around noon, brush teeth, eat, study, eat, study, eat, study, sleep, repeat the same thing over and over again. This shows that I am getting worried because I tried attempting the questions and I cannot answer lo! T_T Besides, I didn't even step my foot out of the house for 3 freaking days, but today I went to dinner with my darling Hsin Yin as she is going back to Taiwan tomorrow T_T *envy with jealousy* huhu

While procrastinating, I decided to write up something since I have not been updating for a week now + there's nothing else to surf anymore hehe!

Went fishing last Sunday and it was pretty new experience to me but I cannot say its awesome though :P It's just plain cruel!!! It's really fun when you see your friends manage to fish something but its very very very cruel when they unhook the hook from the fishie's mouth! ouch! But the fishies are not very big and definitely not yummy like those deep sea fish so WHY FISH? I don't even dare to eat it! Not sure its psycologically or what, I just feel disgusting to eat something that I just caught!

Got to go back to studying now, procrastinate too long will lose the motivation yo!

Omg, I don't think I can take anymore failures from baking cakes anymore and I AM SERIOUSLY SO TIRED OF IT. Its ok to eat, it's not that bad, but its not perfect at all! It's like um, not that fluffy as I thought it would be :( Why can't I just make fluffy cakes! and obviously I am not careful at all! So yea, I'm gonna invest in a digital weighing scale and an oven thermometer! At least more accurate measurements and temperature! hehe! Maybe not now, later! 1 months to exam and I am so not prepared! I'm gonna study my ass off from now onwards...hoho but I gotta work later tonight! T_T *think about yummy sushi and walking = exercise* =D

Such procrastinator! NoooOoooOO!!!!!

My mom is coming end of the year! gotta clean my house inside out upside down for her! and sisters too! shower Coya boy! um, make better cakes T_T

Pandan butter cake =)

Yummm~ yum!!~~ I was craving for Pandan Chiffon for the longest time and obviously I did not try to bake it cause I can't even bake proper butter cake! :P

I took another nice looking recipe from some random web and failed again! T_T I don't understand why lo, everytime it has to turn out wet looking inside which is quite weird cause I've never seen that while I bake in M'sia! huhu So yea, learn from experiences! can't count how many cakes baking sessions have I failed so kinda used to it now...T_T

BUT this is a success :) It's not the spongy chiffon kinda feelings but hey it tasted like pandan! haha and um no coconut milk taste cause its unhealthy and fat so yea i used milk instead :)

It is actually the same recipe as http://coya4ever.blogspot.com/2009/10/buttercake-obsession-and-some-randoms.html just I twisted a little.

Things I've changed are:

1) From butter to unsalted butter! 100grams

2) Add 1/2 tsp of pandan paste (approx. only, I simply add one =_=)

3) Used 1 3/4 all purpose/plain flour + 1/2 tablespoon baking powder + 1/2 tsp salt! (This time I used plain flour cause I don't have anymore self-raising left)

It is better to use cake flour, will make the cake lighter but I cannot find cake flour here.

That's all =)

I bet anyone can bake better than me with the same recipe lo! SIAN!!

Butter cake obsession !!~

I suddenly felt like eating butter cake when I get home from library today, not the fancy looking ones (cause I can't bake that) haha but just those normal plain yellow ones, so I bake it once I'm home. The first time was a total nightmare and I was obviously super upset about it! Its like hey my cooking skills suck already, even butter cake also failed meh? omg. Without hesitating I whipped up another one, with a slight twist to the recipe and yeay! a SUCCESS, so obviously is the recipe's problem right? hehe I bake it at 2.00am and it feels so good...

Ta---DAaaaa~ Ok I know my food entries always look super low-class with lousy photos, so? this is my blog and this cake is yummy!!! maybe rounded with some decorations will do the trick! =) but I suck at it so didn't bother trying.

No dense part on the cake, and so yum! looks ok too the skin I think haha so this recipe is a keeper for me and I need to write it down!!

Recipe:

1 3/4 cup self-raising flour
1/2 tsp salt

1 1/4 cup castor sugar

100gm butter (softened) - I used 150gms(according to original recipe) at first and failed badly, read some reviews online n found that my type of butter is too dense so I used less.

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

3/4 cup milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add in eggs one at a time. Add in vanilla. Add in milk and lastly flour! Um just beat until smooth is enough, I simply estimated it and bake at 175 degrees, not sure how long, depends on your cake size though, mine takes only like 25 minutes? But the recipe stated an hour.

Cookies overdosed and Coya boy random act !

Had cookies almost everyday from the day I made them! hoho Fresh ones every morning! Thanks to the dough balls refreezing method by whoever that created it haha!! =) Yumm yumm yummy..can't get enough :P And I was suppose to be dieting for my graduation!! gosh...

I basically and obviously cannot remember what I did for the whole of this week! =_= What I remembered was staying home to study and um procrastinate lil here and there, work for 3 days and now its Sunday again! wtf...Oh I had curry chicken and monday and tuesday!! omfg tasty yum~ satisfaction lol and um Adobo on Friday?

Ok, whatever. Just a short blog to write down my cookies success today! hoho~ I don't think its an easy task to keep blogging things that happened cause I just don't remember! Argghh Oh well, today I better write it down before I forgot again.

Chocolate chips Cookies! I was craving for this for a long time but I don't have choc chips and sugar at home! Finally after working yesterday night, I went to get some..hehe...I guess baking in the middle of the night is still the best after all ^^

The first time I baked this type of cookies few months ago, it was indeed yummy but the presentation was such a failure!! It became super flat while baking and I had to use the muffin tin to bake them so they are in shape, but still, fail right?

I decided to try again last night! Why last night? Because I wanna chill/freeze them!

This is the recipe I used, twisted here and there =)

Makes about 100 small cookies =)

- 2 1/4 cups of self-raising flour

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 cup butter or just 3/4 cup is enough (room temperature)

- 1 cup brown sugar

- 1/2 cup white sugar

- 1 tbsp vanilla

- 2 eggs

- as much choc chips as you like! =)

What to do?

1) Mix self-raising flour and salt, put aside.

2) Cream butter and both sugar until light and fluffy!

3) Add in eggs one by one, just well combined.

4) Add in the vanilla essence.

5) In parts, add in the flour and mix on low speed until just well combined.

6) Use a spatula or wooden spoon to stir in the choc chips!! More the better =)

7) Bake of 175 degree celsius for 10 minutes! or until the edge browns.

- Put the dough in airtight container and chill overnight! =) or chill in the freezer for 20 minute and you are ready to bake!

This morning, I just rolled them into tiny balls and put them on cooking paper, 2 inches apart. and they turned out ====>

Denggg dengg dengg dengggg hahaha!! Ok they don't look like they are the best la, but still super yummy lo! =P They are properly shaped, not thin like paper, spread out just nice, satisfaction =)

I also rolled some of the dough into balls and put in the freezer so I can still enjoy freshly baked cookies next week or even next next week!! yummyy~

Besides, I saw some tips on the internet yesterday, if you purchased some cheap cookies in bulk, u can soften them by placing slices of white bread in the container and it will become soft the next day!!!! I haven't try it but I think it works =) so don't ever throw your wrong purchase again! It seems that the cookies will suck the water from the bread and the bread will become hardrock the next day =_=

The alarm was damn irritating but I managed to drag myself out of bed at 9.35am!!! Cause I have a scaling appointment with Sharon at the dental school =). I was late for 15 minutes though.. =_= I felt all so tensed up during the session T_T but she was nice, she was really gentle and all but my gums still bleed like there's no tomorrow T_T Oh anyway, I have super clean teeth now!! yeayy!! =)

Currently waiting for her for lunch at the Hunter Cal, I've never been in here before but surprisingly SO NICE!!! Everything look so modern and nice weeee, but I'm not a true blogger so I don't dare to take any photos T_T haha *shy*

Anyway, here I got a photo of me not looking at the cam, cause shy la duhhh, and um this room is filled with mac computers!! =)

An exceptional Sunday =)

This beautiful Sunday started off with a superb sunny weather!! =) Which was really awesome!

My friend from M'sia + whole family arrivced in NZ last week and today they passed by Dunedin! and I had a chance to meet them!! hehe Haven't seen him+her since I left for this countryside so...yea pretty awesome. They went to Cadbury factory and they gave me some chocolates after!! hehe Thanks! We met about 2.45pm where all the yummy restaurants are closed =( so I brought them to the most evil thing that made me put on 8kgs during the first three months in my first year! ===> CFC (Country Fried Chicken) Indeed, superb yummy! hehe

I brought them home, to visit my student flat too!! Mine is a nice little clean one hehe!! and we spotted Coya boy on the way home so I brought him in with us, he was a little grumpy though haha! So we had the ever so yummy chicken n chips in my house, I toured them around my flat ( oh well, not that big la ) and took some photos too!

Later, I brought them to the world's steepest street! (Baldwin Street) It was pretty cool and its the first time I WALKED uphill! and we took lots of pictures there! =) Will upload them once I get them from Grace!

Then then we visited my campus, Otago Uni! Around all the departments, and the central library ... and that's all since they have to rush to Oamaru for penguin watching =(

Next up, I went for a long walk! dinner and groceries shopping with woman Josie =) Our usual Sunday routine, where she normally will brain-fcuked me if I stood her up hahaaaa!! I'm keeping to my promise for a few weeks now...so I'm more fit that before..hoho! as I managed to walk up Baldwin Street without feeling tired hehe!

As usual again, I came back home, did some laundry! (Still doing) and clean the house! It's sparkling clean now ! but I found an alive lizard under my BED! and this FREAKS me out!!! I basically screamed and run around my room just cause the lizard is running too!! Obviousl baby Coya is enjoying running around playing with that damn thing and not kill it..grrr thankgod dai lou (flatmate) came to my rescue (I forced him), he killed the lizard with a hanger and threw in the bin =) I was trying to search for the one before today's, but I can't find it anywhere, hopefully its not in my room! argghhh...scaryy...

btw, I was seriously pissed with stupid Coya today........because.....

Ok, these are Catnip, basically is like weed which makes cats happy and hyper, especially for older cats that are lazy! I kept this in the kitchen drawer, and while I was showering, stupid boy took it out from the drawer (God knows how!) Scratch it around the house till the plastic bag breaks open and ta---daaa!!! Whole house full of that T_T and I just vacuumed the carpet like 15 minutes ago!!

It's Friday again, and I'm here at home studying plus procrastinating!!! as exams draw nearer, its freaking me out even more! My life is getting more and more dull T_T There seems like nothing I can write down everyday, furthermore its exams season now, worst!! ARgghh

Ok well, yesterday was interesting, its about someone's pea size brain hehe! Will do that next time, its kind of mean though, but oh wtf, I don't care *smiles*

I am trying to keep to my study schedule and try not to procrastinate, its so hard!! two weeks to exams and 60 days to CFA! ok this is freaking me out..hehe a little..else I won't be blogging by now =P

BTW, just got back from work, showered, took a rest, and I'm ready to study again! So dull, can't even write anything down...=(

What more a very very busy restaurant lol. My friends were jaw-dropping when I told them I'm gonna go interview for a job at a restaurant hoho! Oh well, that was a year ago =) I successfuly work as a "wait person = slave" hahaha ok not that bad la, just servant part-time juggling between my studies that that! woooo, *proud* Last semester, I had 3 part-imes ehe restaurant, lecturer's tutor and private tutor .. ahh i missed those days where money keeps rolling in =D

I'm not happy

I think everyone does get an emo day some where between the happy days! Ok, not exactly an emo day, but half emo maybe? I guess graduating is not a good thing after all! In first and second year, what I worried about is just the results, what paper to take next year and that's all!! but now, I am worried about finishing the course =( Just about 19 days to go, I'm offcially a graduand. Better to say, an unemployed. Urghh Thinking about that makes me sad!!

I am kind of worried. Due to the recession last year, I have no confidence at all in obtain a job. I ain't the top straight As' student, I ain't the most active participant in the Uni, I ain't lecturer's favourite student! I am just the normal student sitting at the corner everytime! I told my mom I am staying here, I got my return ticket and definitely hunting for a job and get a PR. Not to sure why is that but that is my plan for now.

Being an unemployed sound really bad already, CFA added stress to me. If I fail, I wasted USD 1700 and wasted all my effort and time and everything else. Even a possibility of getting a job. I'm bad like that urrgh sound disgusting already

I AM SO EMO!! TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!! I need my motivation and concentration! 19 days till finals! 2 months till CFA!!! I neeed to run already, I feel my ass is on fire and I really can't handle that =(

On the other hand, Josie made me yummy yummy pork stew today and buckload of vege! and I was forced to eat asparagus! ok not forced, just um...invited haha

I bought her mooncake :) We had mooncake together and that was it for this year!! Will be like this for next year, the year after and after I am sure, cause who the heck cares bout mooncake festival here? Mid-autumn? Its spring la!! not even Autumn..huhu

A usual saturday on the mid autumn festival, I woke up late, studied a little. and Unfortunately I am working today =(

I miss my family, I haven't play with lanterns and candles ever since!! huhuhu Its cold and raining, there's no point to play anyway =)
