This month I’m sharing an image that I actually took with my iphone. I love the new lens that I bought for my phone and enjoyed playing around with different iphone apps to create this shot. I love a lot of textures and dark shadows. I hope to get out on the docks again soon with my big girl camera. lol

Sweet 16 ~ Happy Birthday Zach

One of the greatest joys of living closer to family is to be able to attend wonderful holiday events and birthday celebrations with those that you love. This past week has been full of those special times that we have been able to enjoy our families. The kids have really enjoyed getting to see all of their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and especially their cousins.

Last night we got to attend a very special birthday for our cousin Zach. He is turning 16!! I can not believe this young man is already 16 because he is the same age as my daughter and that means SHE will be 16 soon too! Yikes!! Not only do Zach and Sarahbeth share the same birth month, they also share very special memories. They met many years ago in Sunday School in California. They were friends before they were even cousins. That’s a very sweet story that is best told by my cousin, Christie. You can learn all about Zach’s story by visiting her blog Here. Get a tissue handy because God uses amazing miracles to unite Zach with his mom and dad. Truly a touching story and such a blessing he is.

We just wanted to wish Zach another Happy Birthday and tell him how much we love him. What an exciting time last night and what a blessing he is to us all! Here is just a few snapshots we grabbed last night of some of the moments.

I am trying to catch up on sneak peeks during the holidays and I can’t wait to share more of this fun family photo session.

My job is never dull and I get to meet so many great families. The R. family is so sweet and so funny. I truly had a blast with all of them. Their youngest, little Miss V, was so full of personality. She had me laughing the whole time. I can’t wait to hear how her week with LoLo and Lola went. lol

A beautiful evening for a beautiful family session on the beaches of Pensacola. The wind and dropping temps did not even phase the P. family, they still had a lot of fun during our shoot. I love it when families know how to have fun regardless of the situation.

I really enjoyed my evening getting to know Mr. and Mrs. P and I am so thankful that they allowed me the opportunity to capture some forever memories for them. I hope you enjoy this quick sneak peek and can’t wait to show you more!!

She’s beautiful! The Eberly family welcomed a sweet little princess to their household last month and she is gorgeous. I am so happy they live right around the corner so that I can pop in for some occasional “newborn fix”! I just love holding these babies and I am so thankful to the Eberly’s for giving me the opportunity to capture their little blessing.

This is my life…That is what my 10 on 10 is going to be about this month. It’s actually a recap of my September and why it seemed to have flown by in a matter of minutes.

Each month a group of talented ladies from 4 The Love of Focus get together and post 10 pictures on the 10th of the month. Most of the time they are about our families or maybe a special session that we had. This time I am going to share what we did for September. Above – I lost my mind and let Sarahbeth buy goofy glasses, I had dinner with my best friend at Pensacola Beach, I got a chance to see the sunrise, I got to learn a lot in Kansas City, Seth almost had his elbow fractured

Below – I got to meet a 4tlof gal and have a blast in Tampa, Sarahbeth got to attend her first high school SYATP Rally, Seth and Stephen got to spend the weekend with their grandparents and go golfing, I realized my baby is growing before my very eyes, I started working on my in person sales sessions!
