Brian Robinson is a very highly accomplished hiker and ultra runner.
He was the first to complete The Triple Crown of American Trails in one calander year.
This year Brian set his sights on completing the Barkley 100 miler. Well, he not only finished but he set a new course record.
I hope you enjoy listening to Brian as much as I did getting the chance to talk to him. He is not only an amazing athelete, but also a great teacher when it comes to the sport who shares some of the things that helped him get through the Barkley this year.
#18 - Tim Twietmeyer!!!

#18 - Tim Twietmeyer!
In the ultra world, Tim Twietmeyer is almost synonymous with the Western States Endurance Run. Tim has won Western States 5 times and he also holds the masters record on the course.
He’s won the Eagle 100-miler in Canada, was the first person to complete the 165-mile Tahoe Rim Trail in under two days, and a sub-six-day fastpack of the John Muir Trail.
Tim is now the President of the Board of the WSER and still managed to invite us out to run with him! How cool is that!!
Tim Discusses running, balances with his life, what got him into running, and his plans for this coming year.
This is the biggest treat for me, and really an episode you cannot miss.

Kim and Andrew run a race together! And live to tell about it! They finished the Groundhog 50K Race, held in the "Weather Capital of the World" Punxsutawney, PA. This is the town made famous by Groundhog Phil, who, every February 2nd, comes out of his home and tells us whether we will have six more weeks of winter or not
The Groundhog 50K Race is organized by John Goss and the Punxsutawney Road Runners Club. This is a tough 50K mainly trail race, with six "named" hills and countless others. It's still a very fun run.
We also receive our first letter from a listener!
