The city is the provincial administrative center of Hainan as well being the focus of the local economy, culture and transportation. Haikou stands at the northern end of Hainan Island, on the west bank of the Nandu River estuary. This river is the longest on the island and the city's name appropriately means 'Mouth of the Sea'.

With the sea on three sides Haikou enjoys a long coastline that features excellent bathing beaches and sea side resorts. Holiday Beach is the most popular of these, while Xixiu Beach is where the National sailing and windsurfing teams train and hold competitions.

The downtown area of the city has an excellent environment with streets lined with coconut palms. Here there are modern and convenient public transport facilities and all that is best in a tropical seaside city that is pollution free and that meets the needs of the travelers in a friendly and welcoming way.

Besides its natural resources, Haikou has a number of important sites of historical interest. The Wugong Temple (The Five Official's Temple), the Tomb of Hai Rui and the Xiuying Emplacement each serve as reminders of the historical importance of Haikou

No trip is complete without the opportunity to savor tempting local food and shopping opportunities. It goes without saying that for anyone coming to Haikou, seafood is definitely a must. However, the city is also famous for its other prized dishes. There are four to delight the gourmet and should not be missed. They are Wenchang Chicken, Dongshan Mutton, Jiaji Duck and Hele Crab. The climate means there is an abundance of fresh local fruits such as mangos, pineapples, jackfruits, coconuts and carambola, betelnuts, pawpaw, longan and lichee, loquat, naseberry and passion fruit. Maybe some of these will be new to you but we are sure that if you try them you will want to take come home!

As for transportation, feel no worry..! Hainan Meilan Airport, railway station, ship and expressway links cities of China and the whole world.

China Sanya and Qinhuangdao

Sanya and Qinhuangdao are traditional destinations for millions of urbanites seeking to escape the summer heat of inland cities.

Sanya on China's southernmost island province of Hainan are often compared to Hawaii, given a tropical climate and landscape that make them unlike any other Chinese seaside locale. Apart from marine sightseeing and recreational activities, golfing has boomed in recent years at both summer resorts. Sanya's Yalong Bay Golf Club, in particular, has distinguished itself by hosting a number of international professional tournaments, leading to its selection by the American golf magazine, Golf Digest, as one of the top 10 greens in China.

However, it is their exotic tropical scenery that lures millions of inlanders, with Sanya's Jianfeng Ridge rainforest and Yalong Bay, and Haikou's Dongzhaigang mangrove forest standing out as their emblematic natural tourism destinations.

Jianfeng Ridge, 90 kilometers north of Sanya city proper, has the largest tropical primeval rainforest in China, home to 75 percent of the plant species and 85 percent of wildlife species found on Hainan Island. Experts claim that the biotic integrity and diversity of the vegetation coverage is comparable to that of the Amazon River. Towering ancient trees, sprawling climbers and gurgling streams can be seen everywhere, as well as the ethereal mists that drift over the forest park. Now the park offers several ecological and adventure sightseeing routes.

Twenty-five kilometers southeast of the city lies Yalong Bay, where a rolling green terrain hugs a body of calm and azure-blue sea. A visibility of more than 10 meters in depth allows visitors to see well-preserved corals and colorful tropical fish. The silver sands of the bay are fine, making a soft beach for the sunbather, and the local climate is also congenial.

Qinhuangdao is located 280 kilometers from Beijing in the northeastern tip of Hebei Province; it is embraced by a 124-km-long coastline of the Bohai Sea. Qinhuangdao beaches are known for their fine sand, ample sunshine and gentle waves, and most of them are clustered in Beidaihe and Nandaihe.

In the late 19th century, people of the upper classes and Westerners began to build villas at Beidaihe, and by 1949, 719 of them had been erected, including 483 built by foreigners in various alien architectural styles. In addition, Beidaihe also has a well-preserved 19th-century railway station constructed by the British. Old photos testify to the popularity of the summer resort for foreigners residing in China, and it is said that even rickshaw boys were able to speak a few words of English.

Today, Beidaihe remains a popular seaside resort in northern China, and receives more than 6 million holidaymakers every year.

Apart from its beaches, a 280-km-long section of the Great Wall within Qinhuangdao is also a major tourist draw. This section also includes a length built much earlier. A preliminary study dates it to the 6th century, though disagreement exists.

The Shanhai (Mountain and Sea) Pass is the eastern end of the Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is actually a walled town fortified by 10 passes, seven enceintes, 37 forts, and 14 beacon towers. The town has established three pedestrian routes for tourists to trace this section of the Great Wall and its fortifications – from Old Dragon Head to First Pass under Heaven (Shanhai Pass) and to Mount Jiao; from Mount Jiao to Sandao Pass; and from Jiumenkou to Huangtuying.

The Old Dragon Head is five kilometers from the town and is a 20-meter head of the Great Wall that intrudes into the Bohai Sea. Mount Jiao is three kilometers from town and is the first mountain that the Great Wall climbs over after it crawls out of the sea and extends northwards. The Sandao Pass guards the valley between two vertically sloped mountains, and the flanking walls almost hang perpendicularly on the mountainsides.

China Dadonghai Beach

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 264px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/__58Ft2Wp500/S0lQ_SMUTyI/AAAAAAAAAAc/2diqNsLwHpo/s400/dadonghai+beach.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424956274289954594" />Dadonghai Beach which means Great East Sea is one of SanyaCity's cleanest beaches, situated about 3 km from the centre of the city and just off the main road, between Bunny tail Mountain and
Luhuitou Mountain. Dadonghai Beach often crowded by local tourists and international tourist like us in peak season.

The shape of the beach looks like half moon. So unique. The beach's close proximity to the city means that it can get very busy here but this remains a pleasant and convenient spot to kick off your shoes, soak up the rays and swim in the sea. Like most of the beaches around Sanya, this is a truly tropical beach with 3 km of white sand curving round a crescent shaped bay, warm blue seas and palm trees.

Facilities here are good too. Water sports are popular such as swimming, diving,or do fishing activity. There are numerous small restaurants and bars serving up tasty snacks and drinks. It is particularly pleasant here in the evenings, when the sun sets and the crowds disperse.

Moving on from this beach, we headed on to watch the Super Beauty Sanya Romantic Show. It's a spectacular show with hundreds of handsome actors and beautiful actresses along with great modern and traditional costumes ..Very cool!!! The show last for two hours with wonderful lightning just like cabaret show.
The show took place at Beauty Crown International Culture Exhibition Center where Miss World Beauty Contest ever held there also. Our tourist group also got surprise in form of huge thank you words in the stage.

As an additional information for you, Dadonghai Beach was voted as one of China's top 10 seaside tourist cities that unveiled in an online survey conducted jointly by sohu.com, a leading Chinese Internet portal, and Enjoy World, a popular electronic tourist magazine in March 2009.

Japan Sapporo

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/Sp5FS5OH91I/AAAAAAAABZ4/bi0vGMg2cqs/s400/japan+sapporo-top+travel+place...jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5376811196026976082" />Sapporo is the capital and largest city of the northern island of Hokkaido,Japan.Sapporo is famous for hairy crab , an expensive treat available at any seafood restaurant, and miso ramen , a
more affordable local variation of the ubiquitous noodle dish with miso paste added to the stock. The ramen in particular will warm you up nicely on a chilly winter day. Sapporo soup curry (just what it sounds like) is also increasingly famous.
As elsewhere in Hokkaido, you can also enjoy dairy products (milk, cheese, butter, chocolate and ice cream), seafood (especially as sushi), fruits (honeydew melon, strawberries) and meat (sausages, ham, bacon and beef).
* Aji No Tokeidai is a famous noodle (ramen) chain store from Sapporo, Hokkaido. Many famous people have eaten here including former Japanese prime minister, Tomiichi Murayama. They also have a chain store outside Hokkaido. Miso ramen (630yen) is the No.1 dish, but if you want something special, order the bata-kon ramen, an Hokkaido specialty made with a hearty broth of corn and butter.
* Ramen Yokochō is also known as Ramen Gai. This alley is chock full of ramen shops of all varieties. Get butter corn ramen, crab ramen, and even scallop ramen. Just east of Susukino Station. This is now principally visited by tourists - locals generally avoid this area, and many Japanese are disappointed.
* Sapporo Beer Garden. At the same location as the Beer Museum is the Beer Garden, an incredibly popular Genghis Khan (mutton barbeque) restaurant. Even though the dining rooms span three large buildings, come early and expect to wait. The restaurant offers 100 minute all you can eat and all you can drink plans, as well as à la carte food and drink if you'd prefer. In this place you can find the hostess clubs
,casinos, bars, hotels but also love theater and movies.
Kabukicho is an area of just 600 square metres, but it is, nevertheless, home to over 300 sex shops, nearly 200 clubs, 80 hotels, and hundreds of bars and restaurants. It is estimated that around 150,000 people pass through it each day.

The district's name comes from late-1940s plans to build a kabuki theater: although the theater was never built, the name stuck.

Japan’s Kabukicho comes to life only after six p.m, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

Some of the bars are ramshackle looking places but they have long been tolerated as a place where (sexual) pleasure-seeking Japanese - and visitors - let off steam. Anyone expecting the sort of sex clubs found in American or European cities could be in for a surprise. Here are entire clubs populated by pretend nurses, govenesses, secretaries, dominatrices - everything is available in Kabukicho. Here also can be found "naked karaoke", life-size latex dolls (for the use of), a reconstructed train filled with short-skirted schoolgirls (guaranteed not to press charges) and even a giant tank outside of which businessmen in suits can watch naked girls swim underwater.

Many of Japan’s infamous yakuza and the Chinese Triads are to be found in this area, although they may be difficult to detect by foreigners and native Japanese alike.

Japan Tokyo Joypolis

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 223px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/SpYBln-znkI/AAAAAAAABZA/BU7jDiqamdU/s400/joypolis-tokyo-top+travel+place.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374484951212465730" />Tokyo Joypolis is the largest and most sophisticated of the amusement arcades in Tokyo operated by Sega Co. While you breathe the air of Asakusa, stand in front of the old gate, walk through shops ("Nakamise,") and you feel this harmony of
ancient and present Japan. The energy from people and the town rise up high while Japanese tradition and culture, present and past co-exist together. Asakusa is one of the landmarks of Tokyo, Japan, and Asakusa became a place that tourists cannot miss.
Asakusa has many shrines to visit and each shrine gives you a fresh mind and "Zen" spirit. The most remarkable temple is Senso-ji, the oldest temple in Tokyo, Japan.
Having been bombed and mostly destroyed during World War II, then rebuilt, it became a symbol of rebirth and peace to the Japanese people. A tree in its courtyard, that was hit by a bomb in the air raids, regrew in the husk of the old tree and is a similar symbol to the temple itself.

Senso-ji is the center of Tokyo's largest and most popular Shinto festival, "Sanja Matsuri", which takes place in late spring.

When approaching Senso-ji (also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple), located in the Asakusa district of Tokyo, visitors mainly go through Kaminari Mon, Nakamise, and Hazomon. The first thing that catches your eye is a famous gate with a large red lantern - Kaminari Mon. "Kaminari" means thunder and "Mon" means gate. This has become one of the traditional sights of Tokyo.

There is a legend about this temple, the legend says that two fishermen built a statue of the God Kannon (Guan Yin), the head of the temple declared this a sacred statue and he transformed his house into a small temple, turning the place into a place of worship

Japan Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/SpX61ADJJ-I/AAAAAAAABYg/9Z2Y-P_ldMw/s400/Shinjuku+Gyoen+National+Garden-top+travel+place.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374477518789748706" />Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is a large park with an eminent garden in Shinjuku and Shibuya (Tokyo, Japan). It was originally a residence of the Naito family in the Edo period. Afterwards, it became the garden under the management of the Imperial Household Agency of Japan. It is now a park under the jurisdiction of the national Ministry of the Environment.

The gardens which are 58.3 hectares in size, and with a circumference of 3.5 km, blend three distinct styles: French Formal, English Landscape and Japanese traditional. The gardens have more than 20,000 trees, including approximately1,500 cherry trees which bloom from late March (Shidare or Weeping Cherry), to early April (Somei or Tokyo Cherry), and on to late April (Kanzan Cherry). Other trees found here include the majestic Himalayan cedars, which soar above the rest of the trees in the park, tulip trees, cypresses, and plane trees, which were first planted in Japan in the Imperial Gardens.

Japan Tokyo Akihabara

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/SpX56rov_HI/AAAAAAAABYY/2CkKIImg95c/s400/japan+akihabara-top+travel+place+in+the+world.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374476516877925490" />
Akihabara: The mix of two faces - Electronic Anime town of Tokyo, Japan. And the buildings, the contrast of the small and old ones along the river and the high and colorful buildings in the background, marking the border between Ochanomizu and Akihabara.

Japan Ueno Park

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 273px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/SpU5C4ToBdI/AAAAAAAABYA/7IzJKjL3LYQ/s400/UenoParkBentendo-top+travel+place.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374264451973776850" />I recently visited Ueno Park with a good friend to take in some of its sights and attractions. It a must see for any tourist to Tokyo. This was my first time and my Japanese friend gave me a tour.

We strolled through the park chatting and taking in the lovely park grounds. It was a lovely sunny day and the park was full of people strolling about. There are a lot of things one can do at Ueno Park.

Ueno Park is a spacious public park located in the Ueno section of Taito-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Last but not least, Ueno Park is famous for its more than 1000 cherry trees. During the cherry blossom season, Ueno Park becomes one of the country's most popular and crowded spots for hanami (cherry blossom viewing) parties.

Ueno Park occupies the site of the former Kan'eiji, a temple closely associated with the Tokugawa shoguns, who had built the temple to guard Edo Castle against the northeast. The temple was destroyed during the Boshin War.
It's a place tourists should not miss if they're truly Sakura cherry blossom great fans.

Japan Hamarikyu Gardens

Hamarikyu Gardens is one of my favorite places in Tokyo. It us located next to the fish market on Tokyo Bay’s shoreline.

Hama Rikyu is the garden of a feudal lord's residence during the Edo Period.Today, it is one of Tokyo's most attractive landscape gardens. It is located alongside Tokyo Bay, next to the futuristic Shiodome district.

Seawater ponds, which change water level with the tides, former duck hunting grounds, forested areas and a teahouse are some of the park's attractions. Furthermore, the contrast between the traditional gardens with Shiodome's skyscrapers in the background is spectacular.

What I like the most of Hamarikyu is how nicely pruned is every single tree and how much does the park change depending on the season. There are some flower fields with many species that blossom in different seasons painting the landscape with beautiful colors that vary depending when you visit the gardens. I also like the water channels and lakes, all the water in the park is connected to the Tokyo Bay an the water level varies with tides.

The park opens from 9 AM until 5 PM, and it costs 300 yen. There is a 10 minutes walk from Tsukij-shijo station (Oedo line), here there is the detailed map. I usually go from Ginza station, it takes around 20 minutes. The best plan is to eat Sushi near the fish market, walk and relax en Hamarikyu and then take a ferry (The last one departs around 16h) from a pier that is inside the park. The most interesting ferry rides will transport you to Odaiba or Asakusa where you can finish the day watching some temples (Asakusa) or enjoying some Tokyo skyline views (Odaiba).

japan Tokyo Bunkyo Rikugien Garden

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 258px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/SpUzEFlMdvI/AAAAAAAABXo/tpE1dif7IbI/s400/japan+Rikugien+-top+travel+place+in+the+world.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374257875647231730" />Rikugien Garden which is a traditional Japanese garden, located exactly in Hon-komagome, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, has it all-the right place for sightseeing ,parks & gardens.
It features a teahouse and man-made inclines, as well as ponds teeming with carp and turtles. Namtso Lake's
touching beauty should not be missed by any traveler who visits Tibet.

In Tibetan, Namtso means 'Heavenly Lake.' It is considered one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and a sacred Buddhist land with a time-honored history as well..Being the second largest saltwater lake in China only after Qinghai Lake, Namtso Lake is the biggest lake throughout Tibet.

Meanwhile, it is the highest altitude saltwater lake in the world. The water here is a storybook crystal-clear blue. Clear skies join the surface of the lake in the distance, creating an integrated, scenic vista. Agung is the biggest and holiest of all Balinese temples. Pura Besakih, or Besakih
Temple in English, is the largest of the island’s 11,000 or so Hindu temples; its 35 shrines and halls draw devotees from all over Bali in massive numbers each year.

The world is lucky to have Besakih. In 1963 Mount Agung, a volcano, erupted and destroyed several nearby villages. Besakih was untouched.

The temple is generally agreed to date back to prehistoric times in Bali. It is named for Naga Besukian — the dragon-god thought by pre-Hindu Balinese to inhabit this, the highest mountain in Bali. But at the beginning of the 11th Century Besakih became the state temple at a time when Bali was no mean kingdom. It has remained the state temple in some form or another ever since and is state supported today.

Like most Balinese temples, Besakih is not a closed building but a mostly open-air affair. It is made up of courtyards with altars and shrines devoted to a number of gods.

Around the three main temples dedicated to the Trinity: Shiva, Brahma and Wisnu, are 18 separate sanctuaries belonging to different regencies and caste groups.
To the Balinese, a visit to the temples sanctuaries is a special pilgrimage. Each has its own anniversary celebration or "Odalan". The sight of the temple against the background of the mountain is impressive and during festivals, coloured banners add a touch of gaiety.

In pura Besakih, we also can find Pura Banua which contains many holy value behind the symbol.

Indonesia Bali Lombok

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 269px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/So1QUGX9duI/AAAAAAAABWg/4kTsmBtNSKQ/s400/bali+lombok.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5372038236761585378" />Four hours east of Bali, separated by a four kilometre deep trench, lies the island of Lombok. Reminiscent of Bali 20 years ago, Lombok is still a sleepy backwater - a
part of unspoiled Indonesia.

Dominated by Mount Rinjani, a huge volcano rising 3,700 metres, the island has picturesque rice terraces and flat fertile plains down to the sea. Populated by a mix of Islamic Sasaks who also maintain animist traditions and Hindu Balinese, Lombok is traditional, old style.

Mount Rinjani which dominates the entire island, hides a large and spectacular emerald green lake inside a 4 kilometre wide caldera. Inside - a world of bubbling hot springs, tumbling waterfalls, steep slopes and rare unusual birds. Then if you are a golf lover, go to Rinjani Country Club.

The first in a series of islands that stretch across south-east Indonesia where traditional ways still predominate - women walk with terra cotta vases filled with water carefully balanced on their heads, horse drawn carts form part of the local transport system and local fishing boats line the shoreline. The island's decorative pottery, baskets, and woven textiles are famous throughout the region and you can visit the artisans at their village.

Some Lombok attractions that are recommended for you to visit are Ampenan, Mataram and Cakrangara. Suranadi, one of Lombok's oldest temples, has rebuilt the Balinese style baths carved the rocks with icy water bubbling up from natural springs.

To get even further off the beaten track, take a day trip to the tiny Gili Islands (Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan) These coconut covered islands with fine sand beaches, underwater gardens and hardly any motorcycles offer total enchantment. Frequent boat connections from Sengggigi and Bangsal Harbour at Pemenang on Lombok's west coast.

Indonesia Bali Ubud

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-l1JeXydQ60/So1LvJrHCjI/AAAAAAAABWY/lhQlCULCnJU/s400/indonesia+ubud+bali.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5372033203945540146" />Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali. For more than a century, it has been the island's preeminent centre for fine arts, dance and music. While it once was a haven for
scruffy backpackers, cosmic seekers, artists and bohemians, Ubud is now a hot spot for literati, glitterati, art collectors and connoisseurs. Famous names walk its busy sidewalks everyday. Elegant five star hotels and sprawling mansions now stand on its outskirts, overlooking the most prized views in Bali.

Nonetheless, Ubud is still popular with backpackers, mystics and all the finest fringe elements of global society. Ubud is not "ruined". Its character is too strong to be destroyed. It still draws people who add something; people who are actively involved in art, nature, anthropology, music, dance, architecture, environmentalism, "alternative modalities," and more.

Ubud is arguably the best place to use as a base if you're visiting Bali; if you're looking for culture, comfort, nature and inspiration. Ubud is surrounded by most of the things that bring people to Bali -- scenic rice fields, small villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples, palaces, rivers, cheap accommodation and unique luxury hotels. And it's central location makes it easy to get from Ubud to the mountains, beaches, and major towns.

As we know,Ubud is known worldwide as a centre for Balinese culture, arts and crafts, and harbours a number of palaces, ancient temples, museums and art galleries. Antonio Blanco, Auke Sonnega, Rudolf Bonnet, Walter Spies, L.C Dake, Donald Friend, Louise Koke, Frida Holleman, Flip Hamers, Han Snel, and Maria and Willem Hofker are just some of the artisans who have visited, lived and worked in Bali, creating eclectic masterpieces that you can observe in local museums and art galleries.

Those museums and galleries are situated on Jalan Raya Ubud (Ubud’s main road), Jalan Hanoman (which runs parallel to Jalan Monkey Forest and runs east-west through the centre of town), Jalan Pengosekan (positioned three kilometres from central Ubud), and Campuhan (a small village on the west and northwest of Ubud’s main road). The other viewing pleasures you can enjoy in Ubud are the lush and verdant rice paddies, prehistoric temples and palaces spread throughout 14 neighbouring villages.

Russia Altai Mountain

A travel to this mountain is a right choice if you desire for romantic moment…The view is eye-catchy and romance comes along the way. Even the beautiful Japanese
artist, Erika Sawajiri (her famous drama was 1 Litre of Tears) was proposed by her boyfriend here.

The Altai Mountains of are situated in southwestern Siberia near the Mongolian border. The range expands into China and Mongolia, but we will describe them in the context of Siberia and Kazakhstan where their greatest rivers are located. Altay Mountains are truly one of the nature's most marvelous gems, amazing by its diversity and beauty.

Altay is a land where myths and legends are incarnated into reality. It's one of those rare corners on the Earth where Nature decided to show everything it was capable of. Broad and boundless views of steppes, luxuriant varieties of taiga thickets, modest charm of deserts, severe splendor of snowy peaks, laconic beauty of tundra - the diversity of landscapes here is so rich. There are great rivers in these mountains, too.

The largest and most interesting for rafting are the Katun', Argut, Bashkaus, Chulyshman, Chuya, Shavla, and Chulcha rivers. Most of them have steep gradients as they bend their way through the mountains. If you want to find the nearest towns, I recommend you to go to Barnaul, which is 300 km far from Altay. It is a beautiful nice provincial town, which surprises with availability of good-quality accommodation ($3/night for western-style shared room!), original restaurants, and friendly people. Also, most Altay tour operators base in Barnaul, so it's a practical place to start your trip.

Novosibirsk (around 600 km far), which is located on Trans-Siberian railway, can also be a good starting point.
The most convenient way to get to Altay is to take a plane from Moscow to Barnaul (from $230 return, 4 hours flight) and then take a bus or personal mini-bus to Gorno-Altaisk.

The cheapest way to get to Altai area is to take a train from Moscow to Novosibirsk (from $70 one way), then take a train to Biysk (through Barnaul - about 370 km and $5 one way), then take a car or a bus (cheap) to Gorno-Altaisk (just at the beginning of Altai mountains) and further - take local buses to Altai mountains along Chuisky Trakt (the auto-road that goes through Altay to Mongolia).

Macau Venetian Casino Resort

The Venetian Macau is a casino resort in Cotai Strip, Macau.
Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort – the Venetian in Las Vegas. Some Korean movies shooting location were taken in Macau that later caused more and more travelers come to visit Macau. One of them is the movie titled "East of Eden" by actor Kim Bum which was located in Venetian Casino Macau. I heard that the new movie titled Hana Yori Dango/ Boys Before Flowers (Korean version)that feature actor Kim Hyun Joong from SS501 boyband, shooting location is planned to be in Macau also, probably Venetian Casino Macau again.
