Ruin's of St.Paul Macau

Hello. It's been long time not post here ^^

Today I want to share about Ruin's of St.Paul. For those who love tho visit historical place, you should visit Ruin's of St.Paul.

Lucky me, I got opportunity to visit this place 2 years ago :D

Ruin's of St.Paul where located in Macau, China. It was built in 1602 and also the greatest church in Macau. The building was destroyed by a fire during a typhoon on 1835.

The building is so unique, because of the typhoon, only front side of the church that left

Ruin's of St.Paul become one of must visit place when you travel to Macau. In addition, you also can enjoy the view of Macau scenery from top, take a lot of photos of course

To reach Ruin's of St.Paul you should walk around 15 minutes from Senado Square. But, don't worry. Everything is worth it ! There's also a lot of souvenirs shop and food store along the way. You should try the portuguese egg tart too! I love it so much, crunchy outside, soft and melt in your mouth when you eat the filling.

Jeju Island has Chosen as Seven Wonders

Jeju Island was already famous in the world, especially in Korea because of the beautiful scenery, the mountains, the beach that very clear and the famous yellow flower. This island often visited by peoples who are want enjoying nature, and fresh air. Many couples also go to this place as their hone moon or vacation destination.

I'm sure almost all of Korean drama's lover, or K-pop lover know about this island. Because many film use this island for shooting, one of them is Boys Before Flower. I also ever talk about Jeju island at my post here ..

Not wonder if finally Jeju Island become one of the seven wonders from 28 finalist. Hope local government and the locals keep converse the natural beautiful of the island.

After waiting for a long time, finally, the most phenomenal movie in the world, Harry Potter sequel : Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2 is now playing almost in every country.
Harry Potter was first premiere in 15 July 2011.

This is also the last sequel from Harry Potter, and made in 3D movie that increased tighten feel when watch the movie.
Many people happy and also sad when this movie was release, because it means there's no more Harry Potter sequel. They loved Harry Potter sequel because they also could followed the growth from the actors and actress, that they like.

Synopsis
After destroy Horcrux and found the meaning of three Deathly Hallows, Harry, Ron and Hermione still keep search another Horcrux to destroy Lord Voldemort. But, now Voldemort has mastered Elder Cane, he wants to end last step to reach the higher power and attack magic school Hogwarts, when three horde for the last time against dark power that threaten to control Magic world and Muggle world.

The Red Kimchi

Now I want to talk you about Korean food,kimchi.
For you who love all about Korea like K-Pop, or ever visited Korea must know this kind of food, because this food always become appetizers when Korean people eat.

But, what is kimchi really are? Kimchi is kind of Korean traditional food like vegetable pickles, usually made from cabbage, radish, and cucumber. The vegetables is mixed with shrimp, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, and chilli for the seasoning. That's why Kimchi usually have red color.

Kimchi known as "The Most Healthy Food in The World" because it's made from many kind of vegetables which have high fiber and contain many kind of vitamin that our body needs. Kimchi also could prevent us from cancer.. wow.. !

Maybe for us who not ordinary with the taste of Korean food, will feel strange when eat this food.
I ever ate Kimchi before in Korean restaurant at my country, and I'm not really like it.. :D
But maybe I must make my self to love eat Kimchi, because it's very healthy.. ^^

Lunar Eclipse

Yesterday or more precise early this morning around 01.30 am there are a longest lunar eclipse that could be seen in every regions in Indonesia. The rare incident happened for approximately 100 minutes.

The moon that usually have yellow color, because of the lunar eclipse have red color. But unfortunately the size is very small because some part of the moon covered by cloud.

For those of you who love diving and enjoying the beautifulness of underwater, Raja Ampat could be one of your dive destination because Raja Ampat is known as one of 10 best dive tourism in the world.

Raja Ampat was located off the northwest tip of Bird's Head Peninsula on the island of New Guinea, in Indonesia's west Papua Province. This place indeed out of the way compared with another tourist resorts in Indonesia like Bali, Lombok, etc. Because of the place is quite difficult to reach, you must trough a long and tiring journey. Love Padlocks. For you who never hear about love padlocks, maybe you think that was padlock with heart shape. But, it's not entirely true.

What's actually the meaning of Love Padlocks? Love padlocks are a symbol for a lover to symbolize their everlasting love. They attach the padlocks at the fence and throw the key, so they couldn't open it again.

The shape of the padlocks is not only heart, they are start from the classic padlocks until the unique and cute padlocks. Usually, they also put their name and their wish on the padlocks.

This unique tradition strongly believe start from China and spread widely in many country in the world, like in N Seoul Tower in Seoul that I ever posted in my blog here, Japan, even transcontinental like in Europe, Australia, Asia, South America and also North America. Can you imagine how popular this tradition? Unfortunately, in there's no this tradition in Indonesia. >.<

Jeju Island - Bali in Korea

Jeju Island or Cheju was located at Korea Strait Southwest of Jeollanam-do Province and Jeju City as it capital city. Jeju has subtropic area with warm air and rare snow fall during winter.

Why it's often called Bali in Korea? Because it has very beautiful scenery view, like in Bali.
Jeju has many tourist attraction, one of them is Halla Mountain ( 1950 ). Halla Mountain is the highest mountain in South Korea. Around Halla Mountain there are many blooming yellow flower. Very beautiful ! When it's summer, the mountain peak surrounded by a thin mist, and when it's winter it become white because of the snow.

Besides Halla Mountain, there are also Jungjum Beach that located in Jeju Jungjum Resort. The unique things from this beach besides the clear water is, the sands. The sands has many color variation there are, black, white and red.

Jeju has used as shooting location for k-drama Boys Before Flower

Because of the beautiful scenery, many tourist come to Jeju everyday especially those who want celebrate their honeymoon, because this place is very romantic one. Even this place also ever used as shooting location k-drama Jewel in The Palace, Full House and Boys Before Flower. Seoul Tower Locks of Love

When we go to Korea, it's not complete if we not go to Seoul Tower. Seoul Tower is located at Namsan Mountain, Central Seoul, South Korea. Seoul Tower was build at 1969. The fresh air, beautiful scenery especially at night, make this tower become a cool hangout place and very romantic especially for teens couple :D
This place also used as shooting location Boys Before Flower, famous film in Asia..wow

There are a uniqueness in this tower, there are many lock that mounted at it's fence. They also throw away the key so can't open the lock again. This lock was mounted by couple, and symbolized immortality their love. This tradition started approximately three or four year ago.

This tradition started by a lovers that inspired from similar things in Tokyo Tower and followed by celebrity couples Alex and Sinae who tied they knot in this Tower which aired by the show "We Got Married " make other couple increasingly do the same things.

The shape of the lock is very variant, such as heart shape, rabbit, and they also write they name and they wishes in the lock.

This unique tradition is very popular in Korea, someday when I go there I won't miss it, and I will do it too with my beloved boyfriend.. :D

Angry Birds in Real Life

Angry Birds, very popular game in the world. If you want to know more about the game, I already talk about it in my blog here.
Angry Birds, is it only in game or there are real bird in our life? Maybe many people curious about that, also me.. :D
When I'm browsing about angry birds, I found in tumblr that show angry birds in real life.. That's very funny I think ! Indeed it's not same but it's enough similar with angry birds in game.

Golden Pavilion

Kyoto is one city of Japan or also called sunrise country, is well known with a thousands temples. How can? Because everywhere we walk, we could find many temples there. One of the famous temple is Golden Pavilion or Kinkakuji.
Golden Pavilion is a Zen Buddhist Temple, located at Kitayama hills, northern Kyoto, japan. Like the name, the top two floor of Golden Pavilion are covered with gold. This temple is established around a large pond.
Golden Pavilion was built in 1394 by Yoshimitsu, the third Ashikaga shogun. This temple is not the original one, it was ever burned down numerous times includeing twice during the Onin War, a civil that destroyed much of Kyoto, and in 1950, it was set on fire by a fanatic monk, and rebuilt in 1955.

Golden Pavilion consist of three floor. Every floor has it's own name.
The first floor called Ho-sui-in. This floor used as a meeting room. Then the second floor called Cho-on-do, used as worship room. And the last floor called Kukkyo-cho, used as break room.
This place is attract many people, beside from the architecture, also the history building. You only need to spend 400 yen for adult and 300 yen foe children to entry this temple.

Chocolate Hills

If you go to Philippines,make sure you visit Chocolate Hills. Chocolate Hills is located at Bohol between Leyte and Cebu and belong to the Visayas Island Group.
Why the name is Chocolate Hills? Is it because consist of many yummy chocolate and mound shape? When I hear the name, I think like that.. lol :9

The Chocolate Hills name is from the color of the hills when it summer. When summer, hills that previously have green color because of the grass, become chocolate because sun burned it out. That's why it's called Chocolate Hills.

Chocolate Hills consists of many mound that always covered with grass. This Chocolate Hills are around 30 meeter high. Local government assign Chocolate Hills as the main attractions in Philippines. Many tourist come here every day to enjoy the natural wonder.

Happy Easter Day !

I just want to say Happy Easter for those who celebrate it. Hope the joy of Christ always blesses us. ^^

Easter Day also means a holidays.. lol :p
What you do to spend your Easter day? Have vacation with your family? Hunt Easter egg with your child? Go to the church with Family like I did?

I will share little story about my Easter day :D
For this Easter, I doesn't have any vacation :( , and the bad things is, I have a mid-test after this holiday !
But I'm happy cause I could spend this holiday with my family especially my mom and my sister, and my someone special.. :p
I also spend many time to play with my beloved dogs, chibi and sweety. How cute they are, and I love them ! ♥♥

This is chibi and sweety picture, I take this picture stealthy, because chibi is a very shy dog, she don't like photographed. lol

I think share the love is not only for another people, but also for animals.

Whatever you do, I think the best ways to spend our holidays especially this Easter day is spend with our beloved people, our family, friends, girl/boyfriend.
Have quality time with our beloved one is the best thing and the happiest moment in life . How about you? ^^

Karimunjawa Island

After seeing some pictures of friend on Facebook, when she went to Karimunjawa Island, I really want to go there so badly, play with the sands, swim in the blue water(though I couldn't swim :p ), meet the fish, even the shark! The beaches that very clean, with white sands and clear water (even you could see the bottom of the sea !). In Karimunjawa, there are also stunning coral reef ecosystem, you could enjoy the beauty of the underwater using Glass Bottom Boat or diving if you want to meet with the beautiful fishes.

KarimunJawa is located at Java Sea, 83 km from Jepara. You could use the KMC Kartini 1 from Tanjung mas harbor Semarang, KMP Muria from Jepara, or you can rent a plane to get Karimunjawa Island. You only need 3.5 hours from Semarang to go Karimunjawa island.
There are many package travelling for you starting from 350.00 idr, not an expensive ones, because, you could see the magnificent scenery, and refresh your mind from your daily activity.

Sanur Beach, Bali
Sanur beach is located at Bali, Indonesia. Sanur is the first tourist area that growing in Bali. Sandy beach, white sands, friendly waves, and especially the sunset are the most attractive part for tourist to come in Sanur beach (again).

Lanikai Beach,Hawaii
Beach that located at Hawaii is not to large, even could be call small. But this beach has the clearest water in Hawaii. Rarely we could find clean beach. Besides the clearest water, the tourist also could see two of small island called Mokuluas in the distance.

Legian Beach, Bali
Bali is rich in beautiful beaches. Besides Sanur, there are also Legian beach. The most beautiful part when you visit this beach is when the sunset time. How beautiful view you will get when you see that.

Pink Sands Beach, Bahama
This is my favorite beach in the world. Pink sands is located at Harbour Island, Bahama. The beautiful beach with pink sands..! Many girl would be like to visit here, because of many girl love pink. ;)

Lovina Beach, Bali
Another beautiful beach in Bali..! The sands in this beach a bit different, not white sands, but it have black sands..! The most part is, you could sailing on the sea accompanied by a bunch of dolphins.

Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland is the first Disneyland outside United States and always being crowded with visitor everyday, especially the holiday. Ocean Park - Hongkong

Ocean Park has two unique vehicle, the Summit (plateau), and the Waterfront (valley plains) which is connected each other with cable car which is the second longest cable car in the world with long 1.5 km. There is also a big Panda on this Theme park that the only one in the world, there's also whales, dolphins, and many more. The theme park has 14 ride and other attractions such as aquariums which displaying more than 2000 fish.

Legoland-Florida

Legoland placed on 150 acres of landscaped par. This place is very exiting, especially for you who love Lego. Whirl around with the new jungle coaster which has speed at top of 60 kilometres per hour. In this land , you can found historic buildings made from Lego.

Universal Studios - Singapore

Universal Studio is a new theme park in Resort World Sentosa, opened at January 2010. This is very amazing place, especially for you who likes watch cartoon. You can meet fantasy figures like you watch on television. You could dressing like princess Fionna on Shrek Movie, enjoy the jungle view with Marty in Madagascar, or have adventure with Dinosaurs at Jurrasic Park. The mos awesome vehicle here is Revenge of the Mummy which is a roller coaster with high speed, the roller coaster suddenly back in a heartbeat. Universal Studios has attracted more than 2 million visitor in the 9 months from it's opening.

There are 7 theme park in universal studios : Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far far Away, and Madagascar.

Genting Theme Park

Genting theme park is a park which is located in mountain peak in Malaysia. You could go there using cable car, but not recommended if you're afraid of high. That's not mean, if you have phobia with high, you can't go there. That's a big wrong. You could rent a taxi to go there, but that takes a longer time. Besides you could enjoy the park you could enjoy the fresh air and the view, very enchanting. There is 2 theme park in genting, indoor and outdoor. Like the name, which distinguishing is only the place. But if it start evening the outdoor theme park will be closed because the fog. It's very amazing theme park, so many vehicle that you could ride, from gentle until hard ride for you who like push ahead your adrenalin. This theme park is like Disney World, there are swing chair, roller coaster, and beryl's chocolate there. There are also many branded hotels and mall and also gambling center but you must more than 21 years old to can enter this center.

Before go on vacation with your friends, family or maybe alone to fresh your mind, it's good to prepare everything as good as possible, so our holiday became more enjoyable.

I have some tips for you before you go on vacation:

Choose the right place for your holiday

Determine the type of destination adjusted with the purpose of vacation is very important for you. If you travelling to fresh your mind from all of activity and you want far from the crowded of town, you can choose village tour for your destination. If you want to go with your friends and you like shopping, you can go shopping center, like Paris, Singapore, etc. And if you go with your family, you could choose amusement park like Disney Land, or Genting Theme Park.

Search information about destination that will be visited

Collect all information, about weather, events which is being held, and attractions that could be visited. Don't forget to search information about hotels and try to reserve the room a few days earlier if you don't want to run out the room.

Prepare Passport, identity card and Visa

If you decide to have a abroad holiday, make sure you prepare all identity card, Passport and Visa. Make sure the identity remains valid, and each people must always bring identity especially Passport wherever you go, because the Passport would be your identity when you go other country. Don't let you being considered as a illegal visitor because you don't bring identity.

Looking for the best transportation

Don't let the flight you choose often be problematic and delay or canceled. Remember : safety is the most important.. Like the room, try to reserve the ticket first.

Make a list of items that will be bring

Make a list could help you in preparing the luggage so that nothing missed. Prepare anything a few days before you go, especially if you go for a long time. Don't bring to much item, because I'm sure, when you back, you will bring items more than when you go there. Bring folding bag to bring merchandise. And don't forget bring enough money, don't to much and don't to little. Go to money changer if you need to exchange your money.

Reconfirmation

Make sure everything is OK.. make sure again the flight and the room that already booked. Make sure that when you go there, you don't need busy to search lodging again.

Christmas surely be a special moment for us to gather with all of our family, after we busy with our activity. Want to go holiday with your family, but confused where place we must go? I have some place for your reference to have vacation with all of your family and have fun together to celebrate Christmas..

1. Betlehem

Commercialism now increasingly placing the true meaning of Christmas. So to return to the roots of Christmas, no one can beat the pilgrimage to the birthplace of Jesus. Manger Square (courtyard Manger) in the Old City, Bethlehem, on Christmas night filled with Christmas trees. And the feast can be found at the midnight mass at St.. Catherine, just as the bell rang at 24.00.

2.Santa Clause Village, Finland

If not satisfied with the number of Santa Claus at the mall,you must flew to the Arctic circle in Finland. St. Nicholas aka Santa Claus is a citizen of honor in the village of Santa Claus . Although located in snowy regions, in the inland of a forest which inhabited by deer, but the tourists even more interested to visit this village. Not far from the village there are also amusement park of Santa Park. A bit expensive to visit this place, but you are guaranteed satisfaction.

3. New York, America

Quite a few films that show the splendor of New York at Christmas time (example: Home Alone 2). Who doesn't know the figure of an old man with long white beard and have a fat body? I'm sure everybody knows it. Yes, that is Santa Claus. The figure of Santa Claus also became part of the tradition when celebrating Christmas. Many speculation appeared about the origin of "miracle" Santa. Santa Claus whose also known as The Father of Christmas is well known throughout the world, especially on Christmas. There are some story that Santa Claus have list about good and naughty children, when he will come to every good child on Christmas eve through chimney and give them many present as a reward for their good behavior during the year, and for the thanks greeting for Santa, usually their parents put cookies and a glass of milk, near the Christmas tree.

I'm sure you're often heard that story, but there's still many doubt about existence of Santa Claus.

Is it true that Santa Claus is real? American children even now already started asking questions about the existence of Santa Claus. How can a Santa Claus can be visited every house in one night? How could the people of Santa can get into the chimney? How could so many of Santa Claus in shopping malls?

The origin of Santa Claus

Many story about the origin of Santa Claus, this is one of the story..

Washington Irving was the first man who designed the figure of Saint Nicholas (the English shortened to St. Nick or Santa Claus) in 1809. Saint Nicholas is someone who has stretchy cheek, often using pipes when smoking, and riding a magic horse through the air to the entire City of New York.

Because of the ads are spread internationally, this image was always sought by Christians who celebrate Christmas around the world. My Holiday at Genting

Often when I was at my campus and look around, beautiful vista with green tree and the cool air, suddenly I miss Genting so much. Yes Genting Highland, in Malaysia. I miss the cool air, fog when the evening come, and the cold air(so don't need use AC anymore of course). Not like in my hometown, it's so hot here. :(

I went to Genting Highland last year when I had long holiday on September. Even I skipped the college to went on Genting.

The most remembered when I'm went to Genting is when I use sky high from Kuala Lumpur to Genting. I'm very afraid of heights, so along the way in sky high i closed my eyes and hold my sister tightly. Very funny thing.. :D

When I arrived in Genting, the fog and cold air greeted us. I am who accustomed to hot weather was feel very cold there, especially when the night come..so cold.... I must use long sleeve shirt, long pants, jacket and also blankets when I go to bed..lol...

Everything is on at Genting, start from Hotel, Mall, and Theme Park, and also hall of fame there.

Very entertaining place.

Genting well known with the Theme Park and also the gambling. But to try gambling you must 21 years old, unfortunately I can't enter it because I'm still 18 that year, so I can't tell you about the gambling.

I went to Genting for 3 days 2 night. Actually I really want to stay any longer in Genting, but I must back to my hometown soon.. :(

I will tell you about my first day in Genting. :)

Oh yas, before i forget, I will tell you, there are 2 kind of Theme Park, indoor and outdoor. Of course you already know the difference right?;)

Because it was already afternoon when I arrived there, I and my sister decided to go indoor theme park.Though there was evening, the sky still brights, looks like still 12 p.m in my hometown.

We don't waste time, we immediately go around. There are many games in indoor Theme Park. Snow ball, Ripley Believe It or Not, Cinema 4D, boat around the theme park, and many more, i cant tell you one by one, even there are a roller coaster indoor..need many time to play all games.

In indoor Theme Park also many shop like Giordano, Nike, baby clothes, restaurant and the most I love -> Chocolate Shop. I can found many kind of chocolate. ♥

Actually I bought some chocolate for my friends, but I can't control my self, so I eat alone the chocolate..lol.. ;)

Arggh..It's already night, I and my sister go around the best hotel there to view the building before back to hotel. Very amazing building.

Yeah that's my first day in Genting, I would continue it on the next post..

Yes, that is the full name of Bangkok, Thailand. This name consist of 167 letter, very long for name a city. Inconceivable if someone ask us 'where do you live?' and we must mention that name,very confusing to say and being heard. Lucky, Thailand's people abbreviate it with Krung Thep, more simple I think.

This name is consist from combination two ancient Indian language, Pali and Sansekerta, in English means 'The land of angels, the great city of immortality, of divine gems, the great angelic unconquerable land of nine noble gems, the royal and pleasant capital, site of the grand royal palace, eternal land of angels and reincarnated spirit, foreordained and created by the highest devas.'

The name of this city showed that Bangkok is very valuable city and shows that they worship devas.
