Explanation of the importance of memorializing loved ones

Memorializing our loved ones is an important aspect of respecting their lives and legacies. It allows us to cherish their memories and keep them close even after they’ve passed on.

Customized columbarium designs are an excellent way of creating a meaningful memorial that reflects your loved one’s personality and life story.

These designs allow for flexibility in the customization process, including features like personalized inscriptions, unique portraits, and cultural and religious symbols.

With the right design, you can create a lasting tribute that embodies your loved one’s personality, values, and legacy.

Additionally, columbaria offer a secure and dignified final resting place for cremated remains, ensuring that your loved one’s memory is preserved for generations to come.

By investing in a customized columbarium design, you are creating a beautiful and meaningful memorial that serves as a timeless reminder of your loved one’s life, achievements, and impact.

Overview Of Columbarium and Their Function As A Memorial Space

Columbariums are a unique and meaningful way to honor the memory of a loved one. Typically, a columbarium is a structure made up of niches, which can hold urns containing the cremated remains of deceased individuals.

These niches can be customized to reflect the personality and interests of the person being memorialized, with unique designs ranging from traditional to modern.

Columbariums offer a permanent and respectful space for families and friends to visit, pay their respects, and remember their loved one. They also provide a sense of solace and comfort for those who are grieving, as they have a designated space to honor and remember their loved ones.

Our company , a leading Columbarium manufacturer in USA, we understand the importance of personalizing a memorial space, and we offer custom columbarium designs to help families create a lasting tribute to their loved one.

Customized Columbarium Designs

We understand that each family has unique requirements when it comes to memorializing their loved ones, and we work closely with them to create a design that is both meaningful and personal.

Our team of experienced designers and architects have the knowledge and skills to turn any concept into a beautiful and functional columbarium, no matter the style or size. From classic designs to contemporary ones, our customization options are limitless.

We also offer a range of finish options, including marble, granite, and bronze, ensuring that your columbarium blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.

Whether you are looking for a single niche or a fully customized columbarium complex, we are committed to providing you with exceptional service and a lasting memorial for your loved ones.

Importance Of Customization Based on Individual Preference

Customization is an essential factor to consider when it comes to columbaria. The fact that everyone has a unique preference when it comes to memorialization makes it a necessity for columbaria to be customizable.

Columbaria are created for remembrance, and this is why it is important to ensure that the final product is reflective of the personality and preferences of the individual being remembered.

Customization also ensures that the columbarium design aligns with different religions, cultures, and communities. With customized columbaria, families can have a fitting memorialization that is specific to their loved one. It is therefore necessary to work with an expert who understands the importance of personalization and can translate the unique preferences into a customized columbarium design.

Variety Of Available Materials

When it comes to choosing the material for a customized columbarium, there are a variety of options available to suit individual preferences and styles. One of the most popular choices is granite, known for its durability and timeless elegance.

It is available in various colors, patterns, and finishes, allowing individuals to choose the perfect fit for their memorial needs.

Another option is bronze, which offers a rich, warm tone and a classic look. It is a popular choice for religious or patriotic designs.

For those looking for a more contemporary look, glass can be a stunning option. It can be customized with imagery or designs and can be illuminated for added impact.

Additionally, there are options like marble, slate, and even wood that can be incorporated into columbarium designs.

Each material offers its own benefits and aesthetic qualities, allowing individuals to create a truly personalized memorial space.

Adaptation Of Design Styles Based on Location and Culture

One of the crucial aspects of designing a customized columbarium is the adaptation of design styles based on the location and culture.

It is imperative to understand that different cultures have their own unique customs and traditions, which they follow in terms of commemorating the dead.

Therefore, it is essential to consider the geographical location, cultural preferences, and religious beliefs of the families while designing a columbarium.

For instance, in Asia, where space is limited, vertical columbaria are considered a more practical choice. On the other hand, in European countries, horizontal columbaria are more popular due to the availability of space. Similarly, in certain cultures, such as Islam, cremation is not considered an acceptable practice.

Therefore, offering burial niches instead of cremation niches would be more appropriate. By understanding and adapting to the location and culture of the client, a customized columbarium can be designed that is not only practical but also culturally sensitive and respectful of the deceased.

Memorializing a loved one is an important step in the grieving process. Columbariums provide a space to honor and remember the ones that have departed from our lives, and by customizing your design you are able to add a unique touch of personalization.

There are many materials available for customization as well as designs that can better reflect the culture or region you live in. The possibility to customize a columbarium is limitless, so why not honor those before us by creating something unique to them?

With creative elements involved, such as symbols, photos, or motifs – whatever will bring comfort to your heart – you can take full control with designing and placing a distinct memorial to your loved one.

If you would like further information on customized columbariums for memorializing loved ones, consider columbarium USA, try designing something special today.

Our Vision

To spread the fame of God by equipping godly generations to treasure Christ through a Gospel-centered curriculum for the church, the home, and the nations.

Our Strategy

In order to display God’s great glory; we will:

Produce a gospel-centered curriculum which allows every child, birth through high school, to study the same Scripture passage each week (Colossians 3:16; Romans 5:.6-11)

Produce a gospel-centered curriculum that will equip parents to thrive in their God-given roles as their child’s primary discipler, thereby, connecting the church and the home (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Psalm 78:1-7). We provide a weekly take home resource that encourages parents to have engaging discussions about the lesson.

Produce a gospel-centered curriculum to give away to missionaries and church planters* so that they can reach and exhort the next generation and to make Christ’s name great around the globe (Romans 1:16; Psalm 108.1-5).

Our Core Values

As a ministry that is committed to Treasuring Christ our core values are:

The Supremacy of the Gospel – From Genesis to Revelation God reveals His plan for the redemption of His church through the blood of Christ and His finished work. Everything we do will center on that message. Therefore, we will not get sidetracked by any endeavor that does not have the proclamation of the gospel as its aim. In order to facilitate the spread of this message, we will give any missionary, or church plant curriculum absolutely free of charge.*

The Sufficiency of the Scriptures – God’s word is sufficient and is all we need for salvation and for service. Therefore, we will endeavor to rightly divide the word centering each lesson on one text and teach it thoroughly.

The Centrality of the Church – Jesus died to redeem His body the church. Therefore, we will endeavor to encourage children and their parents to enter into community through the local church. This means teaching the importance of corporate worship as well as small group exhortation, accountability, fellowship, and evangelism. We will also resource churches to better fulfill their calling to support and nurture families and individuals.

The Responsibility of Families – Parents are charged with taking the primary role of discipling their children and children are charged with obeying and respecting their parents. Therefore, we will encourage both groups to fulfill the high and holy calling that they have been given.

In hearing him teach, I was reminded of some very important foundational principles that we as believers should never back down from and should be teaching to our children. This is where the rubber hits the road in writing gospel curriculum.

There seems to be two extremes between keeping kids busy with fun and games and choking them with burdensome teaching. At Treasuring Christ, we try to avoid both of these extremes. As much as some might like for us to lighten up and make our lessons more game and activity focused, we refuse to do so. We unapologetically believe that teaching theology to children in an age appropriate manner matters. It is no accident that the scriptures say

So what do you think? Have you sampled or taught Treasuring Christ yet? Do you think our lessons teach good theology in an age appropriate manner? I would love to hear what you think?

“At what age can my child truly believe?” “What does a child need to know and do to become a Christian?” These are just a couple of the many questions about children and saving faith.

The simple truth is God sent His only Son to redeem all people. Christian author Art Murphy says it this way, “Remember, God wants your child in His kingdom more than you do.” The real issue is how you as a parent direct and lead your child or children to life-giving and life-changing faith in Christ. No person has more influence in a child’s life than their parent. Your child looks to you.

Truthfully, the way that you answer that question says a lot about you. Here lately, the Lord has been revealing to me that happiness cannot be determined by what happens to you but by who you are. In other words, if you have to look at external things to find the answer to whether or not you are happy, then you most likely are not.

One of the things that started me down the path of questioning the fundamental nature of my happiness was a sermon I heard by Tim Keller. In his sermon entitled, The Search For Happiness, Keller teaches through Psalm 1 and how it describes the perfectly content and happy person. What is striking about this Psalm is how it turns everything that the world assumes about true happiness on its head. In one section of the sermon Keller

A father asked me if I would meet with him about his son’s interest in becoming a Christian. This dad shared with me that his son wanted to become a Christian so he could take communion with their family on Sunday mornings. During our meeting, I asked the dad if there were any other indicators that led him to believe that his son was prepared to make this decision. The dad said no, this request was the first and only one. His son mentioned it to him last week because he didn’t think it was fair that his sisters were permitted to take communion while he was not. I asked the dad about any evidences of conviction of sin, repentance and lordship and if any of these had been considered. The dad responded that these topics, including heaven and hell, had been purposely avoided because he didn’t want his son feeling frightened or guilty. I shared that I did not feel his son was ready but that he and his wife should consider the practice of regularly living out the Gospel for each of their children to see. At the end of our meeting, the dad had one more question that saddened me greatly, “Pastor, do you think it would be okay if my son could take communion now, since we have spoken?” Two years ago, I was attending a conference for student pastors and one of the younger pastors shared a story of how hundreds of teens had been saved and baptized at his church over the past year.

I was excited to hear more. My wife Tina and I asked him and his wife to dinner that night, so we could hear what God was doing at his church. That night he shared that 75 % of the student salvations and baptisms happened at his church’s summer youth camp. Interested, I asked more questions concerning how long this camp had been an annual event and what brought the students to this decision to accept Christ and be baptized. My heart sank when I heard his response: “We came to this decision because we realized if we didn’t baptize them at camp, we would never be able to, because most of these kids we will never see again.” Surely saving faith is more than a wafer and grape juice and more than getting a child wet at camp. What about genuine repentance? What about a lasting “life change”? What about treasuring Christ above all else? As parents, we need to rediscover what saving faith is. This resource will consider the parents’ role, salvation and what Jesus Himself taught concerning children. A Biblical Understanding for Parents Unfortunately, many parents feel anxious or unqualified to lead their children to Christ. Somewhere between praying for our unborn child’s salvation and answering questions about eternity from the little one lying beside us at night, it hits us: This is a very serious matter and I really do not want to mess this up. Christian parents wonder if their child can truly believe, and if so, at what age.

Adding to the uncertainty of being too eager or too pushy is the fear of holding a child back. Parents ask themselves serious questions, but they are either afraid or embarrassed to ask others for answers.1 As Cos Davis Jr. points out, “Christian parents seem to have conflicting philosophies when dealing with the salvation of their children. Some seemingly manipulate or coerce children into ‘praying the prayer,’ while others take a completely hands off position.”2 Most parents today are asking, “What does my child need to know and do to be truly saved?” Fortunately, the answer to this question is not found in the opinions of man or in the ever-shifting tide of cultural trends. The answer is found in Scripture. In fact, from the first word of Scripture to the last, the entire message of the Bible proclaims the story of God rescuing and redeeming man unto Himself. Christian parents can rest in the promise of the Gospel: Christ has rescued them from darkness to light, and this promise is also available to their children. In Acts 2:39, Luke records this great news: “For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to Himself”(emphasis mine). A better understanding of salvation and knowing what the Bible teaches concerning your children and your role as a parent will give you biblically-centered confidence. Paul portrays this confidence when he writes to young Timothy: “I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well” (2 Timothy 1:5). In his first letter to Timothy, Paul referred to him as his “son in the faith” and expressed confidence that Timothy had a strong faith that dwelled within him (1 Timothy 1:2). In the midst of personal doubt, fear and confusion, parents can have the same confidence as Paul.

In the last 6 months we as a nation have experienced tragedy on a seemingly unprecedented scale. From the Newtown shootings, to the Gosnell abortion clinic murders, to the bombing at the Boston marathon, it seems as if the hurt just keeps on coming. In the wake of such grief and pain it is only natural to ask why and to seek cause. While we may never know exactly why in terms of forensic motive there is a logical reason why these crimes were committed. The problem, however, is that us modern, western thinkers are ill equipped to deal with the reality of that logic. There is no other explanation for these heinous acts apart from the existence of evil. Yet to even mention the word causes us to scoff or to chafe.

In his book entitled, The Death of Satan: How Americans Have Lost Their Sense of Evil, Columbia University distinguished professor Andew Delbanco nails us for our impoverished view of the metaphysical

If Delbanco is right, and I believe that he is, what does that say about us? What implications does it have for our culture and for our future?

One definite result of a society devoid of the reality of evil is the inability to think and act rationally. In a society where evil exists it makes perfect sense to punish evildoers and not the innocent. Such a society would take people like Kermit Gosnell and Adam Lanza and hold them accountable for any crimes for which they are convicted. It does not make babies born outside the womb to be discardable tissue nor does it shift the blame from the perpetrator (the shooter) to an inanimate object (the gun). In the absence of evil, however, there are no boundaries of common sense that provide protection for the innocent.

The reason why our society cannot abide the existence of evil is because evil has implications that hit close to home. If evil exists, it cannot exist in a vacuum and must therefore be the antithesis of good. If good exists then there must be an ultimate source of good and that source must have the right to determine what is right and what is wrong. Such value judgements ultimately lead to the foot of God and if God exists then surely he must have something to say about all this that could possibly create a kink in my plans for this weekend. This is ultimately why we are, as a people, very conflicted about this undeniable evil even when we are on the surface acting as if it doesn’t exist.

The good news is that God does exist and that he is in control and he does have a plan to deal with evil. The sooner that our minds are awakened to this fact by God and we begin to see things from his perspective, the better off we will be. To take any other position on the undeniable evil that is all around is nothing less than burying our heads in the sand and hoping it goes away.

The good thing about modern technology is that it is disrupting the way clients communicate with the service providers. You can easily reach out to a company that deals in headstone monuments and memorial benches by simply visiting their site. Such companies usually have their contact information (including phone number, physical address and email address) listed on their website. Their sales representatives are always on standby to respond to requests made by potential clients like you. You can also check out the memorial items online and choose them based on style, design or color.

Warranty Policies

The manufacturer you’re choosing should offer a lifetime warranty on the memorial items made of granite. The manufacturer also needs to assure you of 10 years of workmanship. Besides offering you monuments that are meaningful and distinct, they need to inform you how their warranty policies are applicable. Don’t hesitate to check out the products sold by another manufacturer if the one you wanted to do business with fails to meet your expectations.

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit it. I’m an overprotective parent. I have a tendency to overdo it and obsess over the little things that don’t really matter. I guess that’s why I was intrigued by TIME magazine’s cover story a couple of years ago, “The Case Against Over-Parenting: Why Mom and Dad Need to Cut the Strings.”Nancy Gibbs begins her article with these provocative words: “The insanity crept up on us slowly: we just wanted the best for our kids.”

Ironically, a good desire has led many parents to become obsessed with their kids’ safety and success. Gibbs calls them “helicopter parents” as they hover over their children’s lives from the classroom to the ball field protecting them and pushing them to succeed.

The result? By worrying about the wrong things, Gibbs says, “we do actual damage to our children, raising them to be anxious and unadventurous.” (Pediatricians have also found that this hurried lifestyle of constant pressure and stress can contribute to health problems like childhood obesity and depression).

So what’s the solution? Well, if the problem was simply hovering over our children’s lives, the solution would be to simply back off and lighten up. And there’s some truth to that! But the problem goes much deeper.

The problem is that we are afraid. If our greatest aim as parents is to protect our children and prepare them to receive some kind of academic or athletic recognition, than most likely we are parenting out of fear. Why? Because deep down we’re scared if they don’t succeed. We feel like we’ve failed as parents. So we work hard to prepare our children to make the grade or make the team so we would look good. It’s like our children are little trophies that we, as Paul Tripp says, “secretly want to display on the mantels of our lives as visible testimonies to a job well done” (Age of Opportunity, p.35).

If we were honest, we would admit that much of our parenting is motivated by fear. That’s what keeps us from lightening up and letting go of the reins. And what’s more, as Christians we spend so much time protecting our children from the world that we fail to prepare them to make a difference in this world. Biblical parenting, however, pictures parents as courageous warriors getting ready to release their children into battle. Psalm 127:4 says:

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior so are the children of one’s youth.

Arrows were made to fly. They can’t sit safely in the quiver or rest on the bow forever. They must be released! That’s what our preparation is ultimately for–to release our children into this world equipped with the gospel of Jesus Christ to serve people for the glory of Christ.

So lighten up all you helicopter parents! (me included). Let go of the reins. Parent your children as God parents you. Protect them, yes. But all the while prepare them … so you can release them … to fly into the battle with the glory of the gospel.

Missional Parenting

Much of our parenting is motivated by fear. Consequently, we’re more concerned with protecting our children from the world than preparing them to make a difference in this world. Gospel-centered, missional parenting is much different. It pictures parents as courageous warriors getting ready to release their children into battle. Psalm 127:4 says,

I see missional parenting happening in 3 stages. Of course these stages are fairly fluid with some overlap to be expected.

Gregg Harris says that in the time Psalm 127 was written, there were no arrow factories. Consequently, it took time for each arrow to be crafted with care and precision. The arrow had to have a good sharp tip on one end–that might deal with academic training and biblical instruction; and it had to have a good set of the fletching on the other end–which might apply to discipline. This would provide the arrow with a guidance system. So as parents, we must see ourselves as warriors shaping our young children during their formative years with doctrine and discipline driven by the gospel.

As children grow and mature we must give them opportunities to see the sinful reality of the world around them. Under our guidance and supervision we must expose our children to fallen creation and the crying need for restoration. Instead of an “us vs. them” mentality, we must teach our children to see and serve our culture through the lens of the gospel. We could picture this stage as the arrow being pulled out of the quiver and onto the bow.

Arrows were made to fly. They can’t sit in the quiver or rest on the bow forever. They must be released! Yet the point of release is often the most difficult time in parenting. As Gregg Harris says:

When you aim the arrow and release the arrow, beware–the greatest tension in your
relationship with your children will often be just before you release them. Because it
feels to the arrow like it’s going backwards when it wants to go forward. The tension is
building in the bow, the warrior is aiming, and then there’s the release. From that point
on, the guidance system that is in the arrow itself is what keeps it on track.

There comes a time when we must release our children into the battle. This is the purpose of the arrow as well as the purpose of parenting. We cannot be scared of this sinful world. Indeed, this is the world Jesus entered into and told us, “As the Father sent me, so I send you” (John 17:18). So let us follow our Savior with the attitude of a warrior as we prepare our children for the battle.
