The new version introduces useful features and fixes previously identified issues. In brief: turn ordinary photos into magical 3D memories — and discover new earning opportunities!

What’s new:

• Upload photos to the cloud and share via QR code. Sell digital photos to clients — just show the QR code.
• Online section in settings. A dedicated section for managing online features has been added to the settings menu:
• Upload button in the interface. A photo upload button is now available on the client screen and in the main window toolbar.
• Connection status indicator. The current online connection status is displayed in the status bar and in the log widget — you’ll always know if the connection is working properly.

What’s fixed:

• AI depth filter. Issues with the AI-based depth filter have been resolved.
• Photo layer size in Live mode. Display errors of the layer size when working in real-time mode have been fixed.
• Display of the project area on the client screen. The actual (target) project area is now displayed correctly on the client screen.
• Saving the 3D layer strength effect. The set value of the 3D layer strength effect is now saved in the project file.

Version 5 of the program has received a new feature that allows users to generate depth maps using neural networks, which has made it possible to rethink the logic of operation in such a way that it is now possible to seamlessly integrate people into a virtual scene without the need for a green (chroma key) background. The program now has two methods for removing the background: a chroma key removal mode that has been retained, and a background removal mode based on the depth map that has been added.
This significant innovation eliminates the need for using a chromakey (green or blue screen) background during shooting and improves the quality of 3D effects, as well as making the workflow more convenient.

What’s New:
1. Generating a depth map using AI-based neural network techniques for photos and layers.
2. Background removal based on a depth map threshold.

Fixes:
– crashes that occurred when incorrect file paths or project locations were saved in the system registry.
– Facebook 3D format export.

Changes:
– A part of the activation code showed in the About window.
– Added a button to delete the depth map layer in the Properties panel and renamed buttons for opening the Layer Editing dialog to “Background”.
– Added an additional tab for the Depth Map settings.
– Move some of the options from the Live View tab to the Advanced tab and slightly changed the appearance of some other settings.
– Provided a choice of methods for generating the depth map.
– Some changes in the photo editor.
– Previewed the removal of the background layer with the Depth Threshold slider.

Creating a depth map for 2D photos

The software functionality has been enhanced. We added the rotation function for layers, export of a 3D frames series and fixed the clipboard insertion function. The interface now allows you to select units of measurement (inches or mm) and camera orientation, which helps you take better photos in the portrait orientation mode. Also, we improved the functionality of the client screen: portrait and landscape screen orientation is now supported, plus you can set a background image.
