We have already written about how to add Facebook chat in iChat on Mac, and now we are going to tell you how to add Facebook chat to Firefox and in this way it became possible for users to be in touch with their Facebook friends all the time while they are working over internet without opening a separate Facebook web page.

Run Firefox, go to Bookmarks menu > Organize Bookmarks or press Ctrl + Shift + B

Click on Finder

Navigate to Applications > Utilities and launch Terminal

Step 2

Type the following command in Terminal and hit Enter key

defaults write com.apple.screencapture type JPG

you can specify different file formats like GIF, PDF, etc as we specify JPG above in screen shot.

Now, restart your system and take a screen shot and check its extension, that’s set to JPG. In this way you can revert the screen shot file format just by typing a command in Terminal

How to Really Empty the Trash on Mac OS X

On Mac if you want to delete the files from Trash then just Cmd + click on it and select the option Empty Trash and it asks to confirm either you want to Empty Trash or not.

The process to empty the Trash is simple and you think that in this way your Trash is securely empty but actually those deleted files still exist on Mac hard disk until these will be overwritten by any other deleted files. It means the files which are deleted from Trash could be recovered through any recovery tool.

So, if you want to permanently and quickly delete your files from Mac OS X and do not want to send them in Trash then there is an option available Empty Trash Securely. The tip to do that is very simple and could be used in two different ways which are written in follows.

Method 1

Step 1

Press Cmd+Shift+ Click on Trash and select Secure Empty Trash option

Step 2

It prompt to confirm the deletion process so click on Secure Empty Trash button and it will start deleting items permanently from Trash.

Method 2:

You may also set your Mac to always Secure Empty Trash. To enable this option permanently you may adapt the following method.

Restart Mac, hold down the Option key while the system is booting, after a while it’ll show the icons of all installed operating systems. Now, click on Mac OS X and boot the system

First you need to authorize the computer to tranfer purchased apps from iPhone or iPod Touch.

Run iTunes and Click on Store menu and then Authorize Computer

Prepare you document in Microsoft Word. I have created a small document as an example, you can use your own word file.

Click on Styles arrow to show the Style windows, see screenshot below.

Now start applying styles to headings and sub headings according to its level

Heading 2 > Content heading and so on. For more detail see screenshot below.

Now insert table of contents, Click on References tab and than Table of Contents, right click on predefined Automatic table of contents option and then select suitable option like Insert at Beginning of Document.
