&lt;b style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;"&gt;The Athletics NorthEAST/MUN Pacers Duathlon swill be held Sunday June 3, 2012&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;in the Ruby Line – Back Line area of The Goulds. Particpants will run 4.7 km, cycle 18 km, and finish by repeating the run. It all happens on a Triathlon Newfoundland and Labrador sanctioned course that is closed to traffic – making the race safe and fun. It’s also a great way for triathletes to start the racing season while the ponds are too cold for swimming! Afterwards, enjoy a post-race reception with awards and draw prizes.&lt;/span&gt;

Early Bird registration is open for the first triathlon
event of 2012 in Newfoundland and Labrador.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;b&gt;The Athletics NorthEAST/MUN Pacers Duathlon swill be held
Sunday June 3, 2012&lt;/b&gt; in the Ruby Line – Back Line area of The Goulds.
Particpants will run 4.7 km, cycle 18 km, and finish by repeating the run. It
all happens on a Triathlon Newfoundland and Labrador sanctioned course that is
closed to traffic – making the race safe and fun. It’s also a great way for
triathletes to start the racing season while the ponds are too cold for swimming!
Afterwards, enjoy a post-race reception with awards and draw prizes. &lt;/div&gt;

The 2012 St John's Triathlon Committee announced today that
there will be some exciting changes to this year's Olympic Distance Triathlon.
The St. John's Triathlon has been approved by Triathlon Canada as a qualifier
for the 2013 ITU Olympic Distance Triathlon World Championships. This is a
chance for each age group athlete, both male and female, to compete on August 5
to represent Canada as part of Team Canada at the 2013 Worlds!! &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;
The new distances for the 2012 St. John's Olympic Distance
Triathlon are 1.5K for the swim, 46K for the bike &amp;amp; 10K for the run.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;
Also, changed is the Sprint Distance which will be a 750m
swim, 23K bike and a 5K run.&lt;/div&gt;
