Poshy Bird Nest Moon Cake

Auntie Vivian show off this "Bird Nest Moon Cake" which is the gift from Dato Koo brought back all the way from his lately opening 5 star hotel - Golden Diamond @ Zhong Shan, China.

The black color box design was pretty WOW & Daring cause normally chinese prefer red or sharp color for festival, but lets look back @ china history, royal family love to use yellow & black color too, i think thats perhaps the reason for this Moon Cake using black color.

Other than the casing catch my attention, PRICING also not cheap yea..... selling price tag around RM 100 per piece ( One box contain 2 pieces) due to it the material of this mooncake contain high quality bird nest. Size of the Moon Cake was 50% smaller than normal Moon Cake size......

Gosh..... what is the taste of this poshy Bird Nest Moon Cake??! .......

My IBM (International standard Big Mouth) can finish this Poshy Moon Cake in 2 bites ... hehehehe ....

It taste like Bird Nest .... LOL ..... every bites cost 50 Riggit

Google, probably the most horrible detective/undercover in this planet !!!

Sometimes when i'm feeling bored, i'll google (search) my name "Jerry Ong" , results that i normally found was link to my infamous bloggie - Trio Concept, my Moblog or recently setup www.JerryOng.com etc. etc.

A quick idea flash in my mind, why never try to google my full name? Is there anyone in this world use the same name like me "Jerry Ong XXXX XXXX" (prefer not to disclose) ?! :)

The Results was Terrible, Horrible ...................
Google is like knowing everything in this world, the search results even show how much share i own in Bursa Malaysia stock market and companies!~~ i'm stunt and wonder how could this thing happen? which mean anyone on this planet can actually google your privacy & it make me feel so unpleasant!

Somehow, i think i can do more with my own server host and created more new features rather than normal models of bloggie which now not only blog about my personal interest but also connect my personal network & my friends network through www.JerryOng.com.

First Kelvin try this new Nissan Fairlady 350Z (the only Greddy Spec + Latest model in Malaysia) which is no more speed cut ! tested @ PLUS highway can reach about 250km/h but don't think so can make it @ Sepang F1 Circuit due to length. anyway, we here to experience the fun of race in track not top speed test :) First round raining for while but not heavy, we just try to be familiar with Sepang F1 Circuit (see the circuit map here) second round result better can overtake cars like Mitsubishi EVO, Mazda RX8 and Wira GSR 1.8 Turbo....hehehehe.... The MOST EXCITING MOMENT...........we're the only guest (Me, Jeffrey & Kelvin) allowed to experience Lotus Elise, everyone is looking at us admirably! Me & Jeffrey followed Dominic Ang - The youngest and fastest Lotus Driver in Malaysia, Gosh!!! He is only 16 years old, means he is still in secondary school, own racing license but without normal driving license! interesting, patient and sharp driver. Kelvin followed Kah Beng - GM of Lotus Inc.

KL International Motorshow 2006 - KLIMS 2006

The KL International Motorshow 2006 (KLIMS2006) held @ Putra World Trade Centre from 26th May - 4th June, is expected to be bigger this year with some 260 exhibitors and 380,000 visitors expected to be attend.

I visited with Jeffrey(my brother), Vivienne and Chriz. Overall exhibitors was less than KLIMS 2003 but more interesting car was introduce this year.

Sepang Drag Race 0-400 Meter 20th May 2006

Overall in this season Drag Race @ Sepang, "Uncle" FairLady (we always call it FatLady, coz it really heavy than other car in same class) reach better result than past drag race due to few upgrade and modified, not so much on engine modification but more concentrate in balancing & stability of overall perfomance BUT Kelvin still cannot compromise on certain things like take out Power Window system (hey man, i really wonder why u need power window for track car) ......... Amazing idea that put in last season project car - Mitsubishi Evo "ice water cooling system" was not introduce in this Nissan Fairlady as the temparature still under control due to new design piping system and bigger intercooler!

Just a project car??!! ..............Of course lar inside proper circuit, dun like Ah Beng & Ah Seng race on the road!
Entrace fees for Drag Race @ Sepang is RM180 per car/per group, which mean like Fairlady join Group A ( 4 Wheels Turbo) & Group B (2 Wheels Turbo) , need to pay RM 380 for entrance fees

Of course again, you need a racer but not baby racer like vivienne to control a 3,000cc , estimated above 600 Horse Power MonsterLady!

Closer look @ the machine....... custom made piping system for the engine, neat & useful ....not cheap definately & time consuming to R&D!
Look @ the Turbo inlet, Cool right....... hehehe....... another advantage is ...what u think?! enter check point earlier?!...... LOL~~
The Exhaust was modified to front bumper for direct output, purpose of increase horse power! (", disadvantage is very noisy
Custom hand made "Oil Catch Tank"
Another secret recipe which not much people aware - Custom Size of Rims(modified Two(2) rims join into One(1) rim) PLUS imported special size "slick" tyre(only used for GT Car,hardly see in Malaysia), size of 335 which is 2.5 times of normal proton's original tyres, it prevent the car spin when accelerate & but the sad part is you can't change the type, once take out consider damage...

I received an email from administrator of www.MalaysianBabes.net telling me their website contain a well known "Worm" , i appreciate for this kindly notice but it required me to download an unknown .exe files in order to continue visit their forum which doesn't make me feel so comfortable, Who know what is the said .exe file?! is it a phishing, spyware or adware file?!

I'm not good in this forum thingy(Jerry blog more than forum) but i personally think that they should prevent from their own server rather than request user to download an .exe files that might jeopardize our pc or laptop. Correct me if i'm wrong and love to hear some comment here!

Nissan Fairlady 350Z Vs. Skyline GTR 34

As promise @ my Moblog post early this month that i will blog my experience of Nissan FairLady 350Z & Nissan Skyline GTR 34. Well.... i'm really tied up with my work recently! Cut it simple, i now share some Photos & Video of both the car!! We target to reach 320km/h by using Skyline GTR (estimate 450hp) @ PLUS Higway from JB heading KL but we only able reach 280km/h due to the traffic not allowed. Its definately an exciting experience!

Many apologies for the large amount of time that has passed without an update since December 2005. Because, I setup another new blog of mine and start blogging on the 1st day of 2006, which call "Jerry's Mobile Blog" @ http://triomobile.blogspot.com .

What is the different between this main blog - "Trio Concept" & "Jerry's Mobile Blog" ? Basiclly, Trio Concept will be still remain for update regarding events, party that i attend & main anouncement etc etc!

The New Introduce "Jerry's Mobile Blog" will be update daily by using my 3G mobile phone - Nokia 6680 and most of the post are in realtime. Right, it is simply amazing that 3G technology provided by Maxis allowed me to moblog anytime, anywhere!

Well, back to what happen(ning) in the previous two month, The holiday season passed, the new year came, and all too quickly it was time to pack my bags for a little break, i decide to go Langkawi rather than too far away from Malaysia because there is still ton of working waiting for me after my holidays. It was nice to ease back into life in KL. Although i really enjoyed my little vacation @ Langkawi Island. This is the first Chinese New Year i spend in KL, grandparent not around anymore, so we're not going back to Muar as usual, somehow Chinese New Year make me miss my grandparent! But luckly, this year "Ang Pao" still satisfied.

I have also decided to be better about taking care of myself, too in this New Year 2006. For an over-achiever like myself, activities like relaxing and sleeping are easy to view as a waste of time. I start read some books before going to bed; today, enjoy a cuppa of Latte for High Tea, took an afternoon nap, cooked a healthy meal for dinner, bought fresh fruit to snack on, had a nice, long, hot shower, and am now finishing up with this journal entry as a way to unwind.

What about my Valentine day?? Check out my moblog for more :) and of course, do comment or introduce "Jerry's Mobile Blog" to your friends to help me make it better! Cheers.........

Proud that Me, Jeffrey(my brother) & Elvan (my partner) was invited to The Grand Finale Dinner of KL International Gourmet Festival, as its strictly by invitation basic and per pax quoted RM550 above. Its really open our eyes, from the decoration of the event, food, wine, people & program.they even use thousands of candle light up the Shangri La Grand Ballroom...... It is Spectacular..........

KLIGF has established itself as a premium culinary event and The Festival is a great time to get together with friends or business associates over a lingering meal with divine cuisine and elegant atmosphere.

What really got the crowd cheering was the Chef's Charity Auction, where 17 of the 23 Chefs were auctioned off for a good course. The most interesting part was the inclusion of new "Chefs", namely Hong Kong cum Hollywood Superstar "Jackie Chan" and Malaysia Prime Minister's Daughter, Nori Abdullah and her husband, Khairy Jamaluddin.

The night itself raised RM500,000 which break a new record for the Chef's Charity Auction.

City Ballet - It tells the story of how men and women survive in the metropolis

If you have the passion for it, go for it, so says Vincent Tan, founder of a Klang-based dance theatre group, to SABARIAH SALLEH.

You don’t have to be young and slim. Age or size shouldn’t stop anyone with the passion to pursue dancing.

Vincent Tan, the founder and artistic director of the Malaysia Batu Dance Theatre, says age is no barrier when it comes to dancing.

Tan, 46, who first took up dancing seriously when he was 20 and doing his first degree in Taiwan, says a late beginner can blossom into a beautiful dancer. And he is the proof.

“There is a 38-year-old dancer in my troupe,” said Tan. “There are also those who started learning to dance at 24 or 25 but can perform well on stage.”

Tan’s passion for dancing still ran high when he came back to Malaysia with a degree in Business Administration in 1986.

“I tried to find a job but it was hard, and I just can’t work in a

9-to-5 job.

“I wanted to be free and dancing gives me the chance to express myself. So, I started going round to ballet schools to offer my services as a dancing teacher.”

In 1988, he founded the Batu Pahat Dance Troupe and began his career as a dancer, choreographer and teacher.

“I returned to Taiwan in 1994 to do a Masters in Fine Arts, majoring in choreography.

“Gaining the coveted qualification not only gives me a better reputation as a dancer, it also opened doors.

“I was invited to choreograph for the Asian New Generation Choreographers Festival, a unique and exciting project that brought together young choreographer from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.”

Tan also had a stint with the Taipei Ballet Theatre and Francis Tao Dance Troupe.

He returned to Malaysia in 1997 and formed the Tan Ho Dance Theatre where his works are based on local culture.

Some of the dances he has choreographed and performed are The Ancient Path, Night Journey, Two Women, Buddies, Boat Song, Lost Trilogy and Gone With The Wind.

Tan is constantly upgrading his knowledge on his chosen field. In 1999, he visited Bali, London and Paris to look into the dance industry and do research into professional theatre practice.

“I was inspired by arts and culture and feel that others should have the chance to experience it.

“Hence, I established the Batu Dance Theatre and take my troupe to perform in the rural areas.

“I want those who are living in rural areas to be exposed to new things. I was able to tap raw talents.

“Who knows, one day I might just discover a talented dancer from a rural area.”

Tan’s latest showcase is City Ballet, a 90-minute modern dance piece. “Dancers are chosen from different backgrounds. Casting is important because I need people from all walks of life as they can convey the message in each dance in their own way.”

Hence, it was no surprise to see people with different careers, age and experience in dancing involved in the show. —

City Ballet encapsulates Tan’s experience in the city. It tells the story of how men and women survive in the metropolis. The performance has six dances. Daisy Crab (大閘蟹) @ Four Season Restaurant Kuala Lumpur

Autumn - The Season of Daisy Crab, my good friend Kelvin suggest go to a Restaurant somewhere around Imbi KL enjoy my favourite Daisy Crab! We reach the restaurant about 5pm but the kitchen haven't ready for food & while waiting in the VIP room, we found that their service very poor, then kelvin suggest we try another restaurant! Last, we decided try out "Four Season Restaurant" that nearby !~~

Lucky, compare to "that" restaurant, Four Season service & their foods was wonderful, Total 6 courses ( sorry, i really don't know how to translate all the dish name to english) include dessert + 2 Daisy Crab for each person really make us full & happy :) Of course, the fulfillment of appetite also cost us around RM1,400 plus but i would say really worth it :) cause only once a year can enjoy the best crab in the world - Daisy Crab (大閘蟹)

Malaysia Prime Minister's wife dies after bout with breast cancer!

PUTRAJAYA: The Prime Minister's wife Datin Seri Endon Mahmood died at 7.55 am today at the Prime Minister's official residence here after fighting a long battle with cancer.

Endon, 64, breathed her last about 18 days after returning from treatment for breast cancer in Los Angeles, United States.

She is survived by two children.

Thousands of Malaysians payed their last respects at Seri Perdana, the prime minister's official residence, from 11am.

VIPs and foreign dignitaries started paying their last respects at 9.30 am.

This is a rare moment of Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to the public's eyes as seen here kissing his wife Datin Seri Endon Mahmood upon arriving home from work two days before becoming the Prime Minister. Abdullah sworn in as the 5th Prime Minister on 31 October 2003.

Among the earliest to arrive were Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.

Endon's remains was brought to the Putrajaya Mosque for funeral prayers during Asar, before being laid to rest at the Muslim burial grounds at Precinct 20, Putrajaya.

Abdullah and his son Kamaluddin,daughter Nori, daughter and son-in-laws, Azrene Abdullah and Khairy Jamaluddin respectively, the premier's four grandchildren who are Kamaluddin's children, were by Endon's side before she breathed her last.

Endon's mother Datin Mariam Abdullah was also present.

As a mark of respect, several Cabinet Ministers including Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Information Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir cancelled all their official functions.

Among others, the official launch of the national jersey for the SEA Games, scheduled to be officiated by the deputy premier, was called off.

News of Endon's sudden death at the break of dawn shocked the nation, with Malaysians from all walks of life mourning the loss of the premier's wife.

Reflecting the atmosphere of grief and sorrow, the weather in the Klang Valley also greeted the day with gloom.

Radio and television stations switched to low gear by broadcasting songs which depicted the sombre mood and verses from the holy Quran.

Muslim radio deejays also called on listeners to offer the Al-Fatihah verse to Endon.

Senior government officers, including secretaries general and directors general, based in Putrajaya rushed to Seri Perdana and paid their last respects.

Members of the public started converging on Seri Perdana ahead of visiting hours at 11 am.

Also present were Minister of Agriculture and AgroBased Industry Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Abdul Aziz Shamsuddin, Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, Minister of Higher Education Datuk Dr Mohd Shafie Salleh and former Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Musa Hitam.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor were seen arriving at Seri Perdana at about 10.30 am.

Abdullah, who appeared composed at first, could not hold back his tears when several visitors expressed their heartfelt condolences by lending their shoulders to the bereaved premier.

He was later seen conversing with Najib and Syed Hamid.

According to one of his aides, Abdullah who was by his wife's side, appeared calm when Endon breathed her last.

Immediately, the premier began making preparations for her burial.

At the Parliament building, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib announced Endon's death at the start of today's sitting at 10 am before adjourning the meeting to Monday.

She had on several occasions organised and raised funds for the poor. As chairman of Bakti, she has led the organisation well by providing foodstuff for the needy and poor.

In all my conversations with her she has demonstrated her kindness and respectfulness.

It has come as a shock because we believed she was recovering. In the short period as First Lady, she has managed to establish a fond place in the hearts of Malaysians because of her kindness, humility, consideration and courage fighting the killer disease.

She did not give up without a battle and for encouraging other women who are suffering from breast cancer.

I received the sad news early in the morning through the short messaging system (SMS). I felt so sad when I heard the news as I have known Allahyarham for a long time, as friend and also colleague in Bakti.

I am really saddened by her death and I regret the fact that I could not visit her while she was in the hospital.

Endon's death - which comes less than two months after she and Abdullah marked their 40th wedding anniversary - is the biggest personal blow to the Malaysian leader since he took office in October 2003 following the retirement of his predecessor, longtime leader Mahathir Mohamad, the AP meanwhile reported.

Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak said Abdullah has accepted his wife's death, even though the family was surprised when Endon's condition worsened suddenly early Thursday.

"He was very calm, he is very religious, he has come to terms with it,'' Najib said.

Thousands of people filed past Endon's body, which lay in state wrapped in white linen on a table while Muslim clerics recited verses from the Quran.

Abdullah, Malaysia's fifth prime minister since the country achieved independence from Britain in 1957, had been married to Endon since Sept. 4, 1965.

Abdullah has often called Endon his "No. 1 supporter.''

When his mother died of natural causes in February 2004, Abdullah telephoned Endon in the United States, where she was undergoing treatment.

She later told reporters that he said: "I've lost my mother and I don't want to lose you too.''

Endon was respected for her humble, unassuming personality.

She was popularly referred to as "Kak Endon,'' or "Elder Sister Endon.''

Abdullah and Endon often showed public displays of affection, including hugs and kisses on each other's cheeks.

Endon discovered she had cancer in 2002 after her twin sister, Noraini, was earlier diagnosed with the disease. Noraini died in 2003.

Endon had a breast removed and traveled to the United States regularly for treatment.

She returned to Malaysia from Los Angeles on Oct. 1 after five rounds of chemotherapy since July.

Agus Yusuff, a political scientist at the National University of Malaysia, expressed confidence that Abdullah would "not let his personal loss affect his responsibilities.''

"He has been mentally prepared for Endon's death for some time,'' Agus said.

"He will bounce back and carry out his work as prime minister with his usual zest.''

Endon met Abdullah while both were working at the Public Services Department in the 1960s. Since retiring in 1976, she has mainly been involved in charity work, and has spearheaded efforts to assist children in North Korea, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.

Endon has insisted she was never passionate about politics, and that she had to "slowly accept it'' when Abdullah became much busier after he was elected a member of Parliament in 1978.

"I must be supportive and understanding of his duties,'' Endon told The Star in a 2003 interview.

"I always compliment him. He will always phone when he is away and we always tell each other we love each other.''

Endon had been deeply involved in awareness programs for breast cancer, the main cause of illness-related fatalities for Malaysian women.

She has said she refused to feel sorry for herself, and felt fortunate she could obtain the best medical treatment.

Help Victims of South Asia Earthquake

Breast Cancer Myths

MYTH NO. 1

MYTH: Finding a lump in your breast means you have breast cancer.

TRUTH: Eight out of ten lumps are benign, or not cancerous. If you discover a persistent lump in your breast or any changes in breast tissue, it is very important that you see a physician immediately. Many times fear keeps women from aggressive health care. Sometimes women stay away from medical care because they fear what they might find. Take charge of your own health by monthly self-exams, regular visits to the doctor, and regularly scheduled mammograms. The diagram to the right illustrates some common non-cancerous breast anomalies. Although these may feel like lumps to the touch, they should not be cause for concern. However, only your doctor can diagnose these conditions and suggest treatment. The bottom line is, if you detect something out of the ordinary during your monthly breast self-exam, see your doctor immediately. Early detection always is the best form of prevention.

MYTH NO. 2

MYTH: Men do not get breast cancer.

TRUTH: This year 211,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 will die; however, 1,600 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 400 will die. While the percentage of men who are diagnosed with breast cancer is small, men should also give themselves monthly exams and note changes to their physicians.

MYTH NO. 3

MYTH: A mammogram can cause breast cancer to spread.

TRUTH: An x-ray of the breast is called a mammogram. The x-ray and the pressure on the breast from the x-ray machine cannot cause cancer to spread. Do not let tales of other people's experiences keep you from having a mammogram. Base your decision on your physician's recommendation and ask the physician any questions you may have about the mammogram.

MYTH NO. 4

MYTH: Having a family history of breast cancer means you will get breast cancer.

TRUTH: While women who have a family history of breast cancer are in a higher risk group, most women who have breast cancer have no family history. If you have a mother, daughter, sister, or grandmother who had breast cancer, you should have a mammogram five years before the age of their diagnosis.

MYTH NO. 5

MYTH: Breast cancer is a communicable disease.

TRUTH: You cannot catch breast cancer or transfer it to someone else's body. Breast cancer is the result of uncontrolled cell growth in your own body.

MYTH NO. 6

MYTH: Knowing you have changes in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene means you can prevent breast cancer.

TRUTH: Five percent to ten percent of women who have breast cancer are thought to carry the mutant BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene. Alterations in these genes for men and women can predispose them to breast cancer. If you are a carrier of the genes, you should be monitored closely by your physician. Carriers of the genes have a lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.
