<span style="color: #be1e2d"><b>NEW YORK – Thursday, June 13, 2013 -</b></span> Sony Music Entertainment today announced Pinball Rocks HD, a five-table pinball compilation game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is now available on the App Store. The app includes a free rock-themed table with featured music from guitarist Richie Kotzen, Chevelle, The Sword, Filter, Red, All That Remains, Hatebreed and Nonpoint, as well as premium music content from artists like AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Bullet for My Valentine and Slayer available via In-App Purchase.<span id="more-9795"></span>

Pinball Rocks HD innovates on both discovery and a simplified purchase process of music featured in the game. For example, the game prominently features music that rotates on an ongoing basis, and allows players to seamlessly purchase those songs directly from iTunes without having to leave the app. These songs download in the background directly to the player’s iTunes library for permanent ownership.

“Pinball Rocks HD takes the combination of mobile gaming, music discovery and commerce to the next level,” said Brad Spahr, Vice President of Product Development, Global Digital Business, Sony Music Entertainment. “This exciting expansion of our acclaimed Pinball Rocks franchise not only makes it easier than ever to try the game, but also offers fans powerful new ways to engage with artists, discover new music, and purchase songs and other premium content without interrupting play.”

Sony Music previously released the best-selling and critically acclaimed titles AC/DC Pinball Rocks and Slayer Pinball Rocks which will now be offered as part of the overall Pinball Rocks HD compilation. Game add-ons such as multi-ball modes and extra ball packs will be offered as in-app purchases to enhance gameplay. Additional premium artist tables and featured music from Sony Music artists will be added over time.
Pinball Rocks HD is a joint collaboration between by Sony Music and Gameprom, the studio behind the top selling iOS app Pinball Collection HD.

<i>Bucketz Ride </i>mashes up balance and physics gameplay, adding some twists to the “stash it fast” gameplay of the original.  In <i>Bucketz</i> <i>Ride</i>, players fuel their Rocket Ship (a teeter-totter scale at the bottom of the screen) by flicking and swiping over 1,000 different items, grabbing them from the sky and flinging them into the Bucketz below. To make their way out of The Pit and up into the sky, players will make split-second tactical choices to stash, juggle, avoid or utilize items as they careen across the screen.  Now with competitive multiplayer, gamers will feel the thrill of zooming past their rivals (not to mention the agony of having their top score bested).

Working closely with <a href="http://www.smarthospitality.tv/about.html">Smart Hospitality</a>, a California-based managed services partner, Nickelodeon Suites chose PowerCloud Systems’ solution for their challenging wireless environment to dramatically increase network performance, deliver reliable client connectivity and reduce the total cost of delivering Wi-Fi as a service to its guests.<span id="more-9687"></span>

PowerCloud Systems specializes in delivering enterprise-class Wi-Fi-as-a-Service using the cloud to deliver network intelligence, security and control to a network of APs without the need for an expensive, on-site controller. Not only does this reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for an enterprise-class Wi-Fi network, it vastly speeds deployment, since PowerCloud’s APs require zero-touch configuration and management.

This was particularly relevant for the Nickelodeon Suites deployment. One of the most popular amenities of the hotel are Smart Hospitality’s multiple wireless-connected Set-Top Boxes (STBs) in every suite.  As adults and children are bringing an increasing number of connected mobile devices, a robust Wi-Fi network was also a must.  With PowerCloud’s “zero-touch” deployment capabilities, Smart Hospitality was able to ship APs directly to the resort.  No on-site configuration was required other than the simple task of plugging them in via the existing Ethernet connection.

From their offices in California, the deployment team at Smart Hospitality used CloudCommand to register the APs for security, enter in the global configuration for the network, assign names and locations, and then remotely direct the installers as to where to place them. The configurations were preset – when the installer plugged the AP in to the network at the hotel, the access point immediately ‘phoned home’ via the cloud, downloaded the provisioning protocols and security settings, and began broadcasting.

They require broad coverage and connectivity to a large number of STBs, as well as connected devices for both parents and kids. Players can expect the game to closely resemble the stylized concept art as they traverse the varied terrain of LM-27.

<span id="more-9659"></span>In the gameplay trailer released today, entitled “<a href="http://youtu.be/0kqNp1fZ9xQ">First Contact</a>,” players can get a first look at the derelict ship graveyards, unit formations and the completely free control camera as well as never before seen in-game units. This video marks players’ “First Contact” with the game and the game’s first contact with enemy units, the shipwrecks around which gameplay occurs. Fans of <em>Homeworld</em>, which came from the creators of <em>HARDWARE: Shipbreakers</em>, will notice the eerily familiar look and style of the air units in <em>HARDWARE: Shipbreakers</em>.

<strong>Gamenauts unveils apocalyptic drive &amp; shoot game for iOS</strong>

<b><span style="color: #bf0501;">SAN JOSE, Calif. – May 29, 2013 –</span> </b>Gamenauts, in conjunction with developers Nerdook Productions and Nightspade, today revealed their upcoming iOS remake of Nerdook’s Flash hit, <i>Nuclear Outrun</i>, enhanced with world-ending Weapons of Mass Destruction (yes, we found them)!

The<i> </i>second in a series of games to be released under Gamenauts’ Asian indie mobile publishing initiative, <i>Nuclear Outrun</i> is set to explode on the App Store in July 2013 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.<span id="more-9661"></span>

Through some unforeseen (yet totally avoidable) world crisis, a nuclear missile is about to hit the city and it’s up to players to arm themselves and drive as far as they can before the explosion. Luckily, players can unleash those elusive Weapons of Mass Destruction such as George the cyborg T-Rex to gobble up zombies and the Teddy Bear Bomber that rains down terrors of cuddliness from the sky.

Along the way, players need to rescue survivors such as Cheerleaders, Mimes, and Hipsters, each with their own special abilities. Players can also mow down zombies using an arsenal of weapons such as the Shark Gun, the Fart Bazooka, and the Twitgun that shoots out little hash-tag spewing bluebirds. Vehicles with different power-ups will also be available, from the Catmobile to the am-I-in-hell-yet Demonbike.

The game also features a soundtrack by San Diego-based ska/punk band, <i>The Skank Agents,</i> to help lighten up the otherwise depressing setting.

<b><i>Nuclear Outrun </i></b><b>features:</b>

	<li>Unleash devastating Weapons of Mass Destruction such as George the laser-spewing T-Rex and the Teddy Bear Bomber.</li>
	<li>Rescue &amp; collect 30 different survivor types, including Hipsters, Nurses, and Lawyers, each with their own unique perks! The further the player progresses, the more rare and powerful the allies.</li>
	<li>Escape in 18 vehicles from the cavity-inducing Ice Cream Truck, to the passive-aggressive Catmobile, to the overcompensating Terminatus X.</li>
	<li>Annihilate zombies with 25 wacky weapons, including the nefarious Squid Launcher, the room-clearing Fart Bazooka, and the bloodthirsty Shark Gun.</li>
	<li>Activate Power-Ups such as the terrifying Chicken Rain and the Coins Unicorn.</li>
	<li>Compete with jealous friends and boast high scores on Game Center &amp; Twitter.</li>

<span style="color: #a20a01;"><b>Paris - May 28,</b><b> 2013 -</b> </span>Cyanide today released official concept art and 3D renderings on the first three factions available at the launch of its multiplayer free-to-play game, <i>Dogs of War Online</i>, inspired by Rackham’s Confrontation miniatures game expansion. The knights of the Lion army, the fierce wolves of the Wolfen army, and the undead terrors of the Ram army will be present at roll call in Q3 2013!<span id="more-9646"></span>

<b>- The army of the Lion -</b>

The Barhan soldiers of the great kingdom of Alahan are the defenders of Virtue, Justice, and Light. Each day, their army fights against those who seek to enslave the inhabitants of Aarklash. Its emblem, the Lion, represents the memory of its divine ally, the Chimera, and for the qualities the legendary animal stands for: strength, courage, and nobility. On the battlefield, the Barhans are brave fighters, inspired by the feats of their ancestors. Their book of spells draws from the forces of the Elements and their knights, who are the dauntless heirs of tradition, never waver when charging at the enemy. Each battle waged by the Barhans is proof that with a valiant heart, nothing is impossible!

<b>- The army of the Wolf -</b>

Whether roaming the wild lands or defending their territories, the Wolfen, half-man, half-wolf predators, instill fear into the heart of their enemy. Born to counter the unwavering ambitions of the Craftsman, the god who sought to overthrow order, they are the protectors of nature and the keepers of the balance of Creation. On the battlefield, the Wolfen are formidable fighters, guided by their predatory instinct. With deadly claws and fangs, they possess no need for clever tricks, but may resort to crude weapons made of stone, wood, and bone when faced with the technologically advanced arsenal of other nations. The Wolfen worship the moon goddess Yllia, whom they consider their creator, and they revere the constellation of the Wolf.

<b>- The army of the Ram -</b>

A wave of un-dead, herded by lords reawakened from the grave, along with corrupt-minded living leaders make up the army of Acheron in all its macabre splendor. This army has its fearsome troops and the hunger for power driving the master necromancers at its side. With the Ram as its emblem, the symbol of the eternal alliance binding them to the horned lords of the Abyss, Acheron builds its strength century after century. All that matters to the liches and the necromancers who form the elite is the accumulation of power and knowledge, which feed their perversion. And the living who remain can only await their inevitable fate to be plucked from the dead as the elite’s most useful servants.

Different types of fighters will be available in each of the three factions, allowing players to create a group of mercenaries suited to the desired level and style of play. Players are then tasked with implementing arena combat strategy. Battles employ turn-based combat to reinforce the tactical aspect and maintain the spirit of the board game. The adventure continues when players are tasked with sending troops on missions, alone or in co-op mode with other players, to increase reward. Finally, players are tasked with maintaining harmony within their army as troops are prone to deserting and raising tension amongst themselves!

<i>Dogs of War Online</i> will satisfy both fans of the Confrontation license as well as fans of all strategy games. The game will be available for free on Windows PCs in Q3 2013.

“Our results from PAX East were really gratifying,” said Simon Darveau, co-founder and producer at Spearhead Games and formerly <i>Assassin’s Creed® III</i> design director at Ubisoft®. “Every single person who played our demo ranked <i>Tiny Brains </i>as ‘fun’ or ‘extremely fun,’ and we had a blast seeing the many ways players combined their different powers to solve our puzzles. For E3, we’ve added in more devious challenges and can’t wait to experiment on… oops I mean collect feedback from… new players.”

With a whimsical 3D art style, <i>Tiny Brains</i> challenges players to escape a mad scientist’s nefarious puzzles as one of four mysteriously powerful lab rodents. Using each tiny brain’s unique power – Create, Vortex, Teleport and Force – players collaborate to beat intricate levels and escape to freedom. The downloadable title will be available early this fall via the laboratories of PC and current generation consoles and later via next-generation test centers, with details to be announced at a later date.

As <i>Smashmuck Champions’</i> community continues to expand following the launch of the Steam closed beta earlier in the year, the studio is closely working with players to give them a say in the game’s design direction. From the new modes announced today to fan-created champions and beyond, Kiz is dedicated to building the game its players truly want.</p>

Players are challenged with placing different types of blocks strategically on the field, without the constraints of a timer. Once lined up, lighting the fuse makes each block shoot flower projectiles in different directions to free flowers and collect stars along the way. Activating chain reactions by lining up boxes in each other’s line of fire, while taking into account different types of boxes, is the key to collecting hard-to-reach stars and advancing to the next level. The more stars the player collects, the more gardens and levels they will unlock.

<b><span style="color: #be1e2d;">SANTIAGO - MAY 15, 2013 – </span></b>Chilean game developer Syrenaica today announced the launch of its first title, a game called <i>Evilot. </i>Combining the best elements of two popular genres, <i>Evilot</i> is a puzzle defense game where players command the forces of Count Dolfus, a retired evil mastermind whose brooding Golden Years are being disturbed by an army of do-gooders bent on conquering his castle (and stealing all his loot). Funded partially through Kickstarter, the title’s orchestral score sets a mood suitable for a Transylvanian invasion. A free demo version is available in the App Store along with the full version for $0.99.

Accessible to even casual players,<i> Evilot’s </i>50 levels are set up on a grid with the forces of Dolfus defending against baddies (err… goodies?), who race down lanes toward mountains of hard-earned treasure. Gameplay goes beyond the traditional “set it and forget it” tower defense mechanic, adding a puzzle-based unit upgrade system. Place three of the same units together in a column or row and they combine to create a more powerful, leveled-up unit. Keep units tightly packed for more powerful upgrades, or spread them out for a weaker, but wider defensive spread. It’s a compelling twist on tower defense that is easy to play, yet difficult to master.
