A Life More Evil. Because even Villains need a pick-me-up.

I’ve gone through and adapted all of the lower thirds to Essential Graphics in Premiere so I can easily drag and drop them. I’ve also revamped the opening to make that easier to edit names and place, plus after 5 years, it was time.

It still has the awesome theme song from the Brobdingnagian Bards (Jedi Drinking Song) and I’m hoping to release episodes one a month, as I have around 6 banked. Some are from 3 years ago. I know, I suck.

They were also cheesy as hell. But they helped.

Recently, I was in a good place and thought I’d hope back in and see if I could. Maybe make them more relevant to our times. I realized that I just can’t do it when my life is in the brambles. But I’ve always been someone to make lemonade out of lemons. Or brambleade? Well, at least I didn’t go fecal with the metaphor…

So, I took those original 6 eps, researched and rewrote and schemed and now have 50+ eps of a show called A Life More Evil. It’s the same premise, but for villains. I’m hoping to record them in the next few months. Hopefully by exorcising this, I’ll be able to go back to the positive ones. Or not.

I may not know you, but I can tell you that you aren’t so special that there isn’t something good about you.

They were originally putting their episodes out in a visually stunning player, but made listening offline nearly impossible. I was proud that they allowed me to distribute the show to bring it to the ears of nearly 250,000 listeners!

Unfortunately, the website mentioned in each episode has gone the way of the dodo, but you can listen to eps here.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to this show, and I still go back about once a year.

RotO originally started in September of 2003 and became the first fancast in 2004 when it began releasing episodes in a podcast feed with original co-hosts Ron and Janine Garner.
Originally a Star Wars fan show, it evolved into a solely comedy with Earl Newton and finally a sketch show with Christiana Ellis.

Though we don’t know his secret identity, or all the details of each of his exploits, we bring you the serialized adventures of the hero that all children look up to, Mr Adventure! Stay Vigilant – Stay Adventurous!

It’s a shame I’m unable to make these any longer. I had so much fun not only making them, but getting together with fantastic voice actors. But 8 hours to re-write the script, a few more to record, then 24 non-consecutive to edit ended up being too taxing.
