As many of you know since starting back on dialysis I have been placed on the active transplant list at Florida Hospital Orlando and with being placed on the active transplant list, I need to ask you for your help. I have to raise at least $10,000 to help cover my out of pocket cost for my kidney transplant.

I have been blessed because of all of the support I have received in the past and I cannot thank each and everyone for everything they have done enough.

When I first went on the active transplant list I was told I needed to raise at least $15,000. So I decided to split my fund raisers into two different fundraising efforts.

With the first fundraising effort I was able to raise the $5,000 to help cover all of the cost of the pre-transplant cost. Most all of the pre-transplant cost was for my private medical insurance. And with everyone’s help I have been able to keep my insurance in place. This was a tremendous help and will help save me a lot of out of pocket expense post transplant.

The second fundraising effort is now focused on the post transplant cost. With the main focus once again being placed on raising money for private medical insurance and the cost of medication.
With insurance alone I will have to pay $655 a month just for medical insurance and an additional $110 for Medicare.

Medication cost post transplant (out of pocket cost) will range from $1100 to $1500 a month out of pocket. This cost will depend on the medications I am placed on once I get my transplant.
I can expect to be out of work for 3-6 months depending on how well the transplant works once I am transplanted.

So just the medical insurance alone will be $2295.00 (for 3 months)

Medication cost again will vary depending on what medications I will be taking once I am transplanted but the cheapest medication cost for 3 months will be $3300.

That’s a total of $5595

I have not been given any information on out of pocket cost post transplant for follow up care. So I cannot tell you any of those costs at this time.

Again I can expect to be out of work from 3 to 6 months

Now if I am out of work for 6 months post transplant the total cost will be $4590

And the cheapest medication cost for 6 months will be $6600 and that will be a total cost of $11190

So as you can see I need all the help I can get.

But to touch on a few of the facts,

I have been out of work since Feb 5, 2009

Because my insurance company denied my short and long term disability, I went 9 months with no income whatsoever.

Well I take that back, I was on SSI during that time and that amount was only 200 a month. Needless to say that was not even enough to cover any medication cost during those 9 months.

I hope and pray I can be cleared to return to work soon.

I have lost everything. I have no car and end up walking everywhere I go now. Which in a way has been good since it makes me walk and bike and get exercise every day, but it I live too far away from the transplant center to walk there.

Self Protection/Defense

Over the last year I think we all have been reading more and more about citizens taking to arms for their own self defense.Many cases I have read have been from people committing armed residential robberies and the suspect was shot by the victim.

I say way to go victims of crime. As we have come to learn in many areas regardless of the police presence the crimes are still taking place and it seems as time goes on, crimes are getting worse and worse. More people being victimized by criminals and many people have come to realize that we as citizens have every right to bear arms and protect yourself and families.

Now that we the people are starting to stand up more and more to the criminals we now have certain groups claiming that deadly force is not the best option. Surprise, Surprise. Why is it always someone complaining about suspect rights when they are in violation of law?Of course it’s probably some defense attorney realizing they are losing money because their money sources are being killed by the victims.

These issues need to be examined from the very start. Granted we cannot depend on police to protect us 24/7 it seems the police have started lack in community policing and focusing on post crime action instead of how to prevent the crimes in the first place. Now I understand regardless of what action is taken by the police they cannot stop every crime from taking place especially since criminals now have no fear of police, jail or prisons.

Thanks to defense attorneys we have criminal walking free when they clearly committed a crime and the criminals know that regardless of the crime they have committed it could take years to get to court and if they get to court they have a 50/50 chance of going free because of the scum bag attorneys.

Even if they are sentenced to death, criminals have a better chance of dying from natural causes than actually being put to death. Now in my opinion, when someone is sentenced to death, in a timely manner they should be put to death. But of course we have attorneys that would be losing money by this action so they drag death penalty cases out as long as possible.

Now sadly we the tax payers get to pay for all of this action. Regardless of our thoughts and opinions of the criminals we have no say in how our tax dollars are spent to protect our convicted criminals. Sadly some criminals have a better life in prison than they do on the streets so why not commit a violent crime and go to a place where they get free food, free medical, free dental and free vision coverage.

Yet I as a working person with Medicare (disability) and paying for medical insurance, I still have to raise 10 grand to cover my cost of a kidney transplant. Yet if I were in prison I would pay nothing for dialysis or any other treatment I needed. So it’s almost a great benefit to be in prison v/s being a working productive member of society.

We also have to look at the decay of morals among certain groups. When I was growing up I was taught to show respect to my elders and to maintain a high level of morals and to be the best person I could possibly be. However, in this day and time we have people that feel they can do anything they want and we the law abiding citizens have to change to adapt to the criminals way of life.

Look at the marijuana laws, granted I agree that it is an illegal substance, yet we have states that are approving marijuana laws. Once again we the law abiding citizens are being asked to accept these actions as being legal even though according to law, marijuana is still illegal. Finally I read an article that the Federal authorities are now getting involved in cracking down on the legal marijuana companies.

For once I can say GO FEDS!!!! I go crazy when talking about Federal action because if you watch television shows or see any FBI reports, the FBI knows about different gangs, groups and people involved in illegal drugs, violent crimes and other illegal activities however they seem to never do anything about all of the stats they are able to comprise about the criminal activities.

It just makes no sense to me that if they know about all of this crime and are able to say this group is responsible for the crimes then why not take action against those responsible?

Could this be yet another reason why people are taking to arms for self defense? People feel that police, regardless of the level (city, county, state or federal) are not capable of providing the protection we as citizens need.

Granted I support any action to defend yourself and your family and I do strongly support deadly force in a self defense case. Not that I think every criminal needs to die or anything extreme like that, I just think that if action is going to be taken we the law abiding citizens need to send a message to the criminals that we are not going to stand for their illegal activities.

Now with that said we have people that are now supporting stun guns throughout your home. Sounds like a good sale pitch almost, but they do have a good point. People need to have a plan of protection and in that plan it’s a great ideal to have several different weapons throughout your home so regardless of what area of your home you are in you can have access to your preferred method of protection.

Methods of protection can be as simple as a small can of pepper spray to stun guns or pistols or shotguns.

Each method has its good and bad effects. For example, pepper spray, while working in law enforcement I have witnessed people get sprayed and still continue fighting since the pepper spray had no effect on them. It was because they were so intoxicated they could not feel the burning sensation, yet all of the officers involved were chocking and coughing like crazy trying to get the suspect handcuffed.

So that is something that needs to be considered in your self defense home plan. Granted I never support firearms being accessible by children so that of course is a major factor to consider if you have children in your home and plan on using a pistol or shotgun as your protection method.

Anyway, I say rock on victims of crime, do anything you can to protect yourself and your family.

So you need to have a plan of action for you and your family, practice and discuss the plan and stick to the plan in the event of an emergency in your home.

In your plan remember too always contact the police when it’s safe to do so and as soon as possible. One thing to think about is if everyone in your home has a cell phone have everyone call the police when safe to do so.

Anyway, I could ramble on for hours about self defense but in summary develop a plan, practice the plan and put the plan into action if you ever find yourself to be a victim of crime.

Ok I thought this case would be done and over with, however, my email has been full of questions asking me who I think I am and why I think I have the right to post anything about this case.

First let me say sorry for the delay in responding to your emails (or hate mail) with the outcome of the Casey Anthony case, I have lost a lot more faith in our criminal justice system and have not been posting a lot on my own blog because of the outcome of that case. Now with that said, let me start by saying this

Who am I, I am the Jakester and I have every right to post any of my opinions on my own blog.

Secondly, what gives me the right to talk about Alan Michael Tanguay? Well that sorta falls into the section of freedom of speech.

Thirdly, my opinions are based on facts that come out in court or from others that are close to the case that will email me information about the said case.

It’s not like I sit here and make up cases to post about, I certainly don’t make up facts of a case and I certainly have no reason to lie about anyone I post about.

So with that said, I would like to say if you don’t like what you read on my blog, there is a very simple solution, DON’T READ MY BLOG.

Now the facts of the Alan Michael Tanguay you claim I don’t know what I’m talking about. Let’s see the major facts of this case still remain unchanged as Tanguay is now a convicted felon for murdering his neighbor.

Tanguay was reported to have talked about the killing to friends.

Tanguay was reported to have confessed to the crime.

Tanguay partial shoe print was found at the scene.

Tanguay had blood drops on his shoes

Tanguay reported to have killed her for 6 bucks to buy beer.

Now tell me what part I got wrong? Now I did do a post of other information that was emailed to me and in that post, I made it clear (or at least I thought I was clear) that the information in that post was sent to me by an anonymous person. And I’m not mistaken I think I even said I could not confirm or deny they information being presents.

It’s great that Alan Michael Tanguay has a lot of friends and still wants to believe that he is innocent. However, the courts have found him guilty and now it is confirmed that he is a murderer.

So with this all said, I thank you for your emails about this case, however, your opinions carry no weight since he has been convicted. He is a murderer, sounds like to me you need to deal with your issues and not take his conviction out on me for posting about this case.

What a crazy day in court for the Casey Anthony trial!!

It got to the point to where the judge finally had to step in and dismiss the jury and point out to the attorneys again that they could not question a witness about pictures that has not been entered into evidence. The sad part he just had a sidebar and discussed this issue with the prosecution and defense and the defense continued to ask the same questions about the same picture.

People can say what they want to about George Anthony, but I personally think he done an awesome job on the stand today staying composed. If I were George I'm not sure how I would have reacted to any questions from the defense especially since a couple of days ago the defense made claims that George Anthony & Lee Anthony sexually assaulted Casey.

I also have to agree with George and I don't the defense was doing a very good job asking the questions. The defense was not being specific about what they were asking and George was quick to tell the defense that he would gladly answer any questions if the defense would be more direct and give dates and times.

Even the prosecution excused a witness early for lunch and no one anticipated that the defense would recall the witness before the afternoon session.

So of course the judge wasn’t happy about that and warned the prosecution not to do that again since he told the witness to remain outside.

Now one interesting point, every witness testified that from the day that Caylee disappeared there was no change in Casey’s attitude or behavior until over 30 days past the date that Caylee died.

She was still out working as a shot girl and a party girl according to some witnesses.

The main point the defense made today with the witnesses was they could not introduce evidence about how Caylee died.

It was also interesting to learn that Casey did not want people close to the trunk of her car. She even ran to the garage so she could get the gas cans so her dad did not see inside her trunk.

It was also interesting to see the video of Casey in jail talking to her mom and George. Cindy told Casey now there was a rumor going around that Caylee drowned in the pool and Casey’s response was surprise, surprise. Now the drowning is her main defense.

I still think that it’s sickening that we the tax payers have wasted thousands and thousands of dollars to defend her.

Anyway, tomorrow should be another interested day and we are waiting to hear from Cindy Anthony. We do not know when she will testify but it should be interesting.

Another point that was brought up in the media today was the fact that George has a temper and sprayed reported with the water hose at his house one night. I don’t blame him. I would have probably done worse. The press was at his house 24/7 and throwing rocks at the house, knocking on the door at all hours.

And they claim it’s the right of the press to harass people at their homes to get the breaking news.

Anyway, the case goes on, what are your thoughts about the trial today?

Casey Anthonys Defense Opening Statements Tomorrow!!

Jose Baez has been all over the television stating that within the first minute of his opening statement that we will learn about the defense of this case.

I just hope the defense can come up with something better than the list of reasons why Casey shouldn't be put to death, if convicted.

In my last post the list of reasons the defense brought up and I'm still trying to figure out why or how the defense thinks that list of reasons should spare anyone from the death penalty.

My favorite reason is insomnia. I suffer from insomnia and I have not murdered, and I think that if I did murder someone that I should be put to death. I could never see insomnia being a reason to spare someone the death penalty.

Personally I think the defense is using a lot of smoke and mirrors right now. They want to try to show some doubt about her guilt and willing to use any reason they can to do that. And regardless of who they try to frame for the murder. Since the defense has posted in the media that they plan to blame the family if she is convicted.

Tomorrow should be interesting to hear the opening statements of this case.

I have been sick and tired of this case for a long time now and cannot wait until that final day when the jury says "We find Casey Anthony...."

I am glad to see the dream team ( or nightmare team of attorneys depending on how you view attorneys in general) has been so hard at work. I had to laugh at what was reported in the paper.

According to the Orlando Sentinel

The defense revealed how they are planning to save Casey Anthony’s life.

They plan on saving her from the death penalty, why I don’t know. Take a life, lose your life, seems like a fair system but the defense has spent thousands of dollars to come up with this great defense.

First line of defense our dream team came up with is she was taught to project a false appearance.

That should be pretty obvious from all of the lies she has told in this case.

Second they want to claim poor Casey was used as a decoy or pawn by her parents and a scapegoat for parental misconduct.

Now if these reasons for the murder fail to persuade the court the dream team has put together a backup list of reason why she may have murdered her own daughter.

The first plan of attack if Casey is convicted is to blame her family.

Then the dream team has the following list of reasons why Casey should be spared the death penalty if convicted.

1) Lack of maturity

2) No impulse control

3) History of sexual abuse

4) Insomnia

5) Nightmares

6) No parental guidance

7) No parental protection

8) Verbal and emotional abuse as a child

9) And last but not least, poor coping skills.

You have got to be kidding me; this is all the defense could come up with.

They were all in the media telling everyone that we would all be shocked to learn the truth and what really happened and that the prosecution could not prove how Caylee died and now they want to throw the family under the bus and blame them.

After all the pre-trial publicity from the defense, this is honestly what they came up with?

Why have we wasted the thousands of dollars to defend her if they are already trying to place blame on the family. That defense could have been taken care of over lunch one day and save the taxpayers a lot of time and money.

I just have to wonder why and how insomnia plays into committing murder. I suffer from insomnia and never once have I thought about killing anyone so I could sleep better.

Anyway, I planned on writing a post to get your feedback only and what you have watched on TV about the trial but even though I am sick of hearing about this case, you know me once I get started I cannot stop!!

But this post will stop here; I want to hear your feedback and comments. Let us know what you think up to this point

I had several emails asking for my opinion on this case and for me to post more information.

Sadly I did not get to see the trial take place so I was unable to provide all the feedback that some people had requested and for that I’m sorry, I wish I could have listened to the entire case and then I could have formed more opinions to post.

However, with the information that I have read about the case, I could not really see any other verdict in this case.

Tanguay supposedly talked to his friends about the murder and the friends turned to the police. The SWAT team raided Tanguay’s home and arrested him when he was 16 years old.

Police also reported that this was one of the most brutal killings they had seen in many years of being on the police department.

I think this case is sad on many different levels. Not only did the Kaliszeski's lose a family member for no reason whatsoever, now the Tanguay family has lost a son for the rest of his life. Granted he will be alive the rest of his life, but it’s still an emotional loss for the family.

This case has received attention from several people I don’t know at all. The last post I posted an email I got about the mom being a drug addict and now I have an email stating the mom had gastric bypass surgery and something went wrong and now she has to take a lot of prescription medication to control her pain.

Who is right? I don’t know. Could it be mom is addicted to the RX pain medication?

Again, I’m not sure who is right and who is wrong especially since I just keep getting emails with no names or contact information.

I would have liked to have heard the defense for this case. From what was posted in the media the defense attorney did point out the DNA evidence on Tanguay’s Van shoe was only partially matched that of Kaliszeski’s. Defense Attorney Smith was reported to have said “what you hear is not evidence.” I wonder what he did call the so called evidence.

Of course I wonder what he had to say about the shoe print found inside Kaliszeski’s home.

It was also reported that Tanguay glanced at a photo of the mutilated body on the defense table before he quickly closed the file folder.

I would think that would be the last thing he would want to see. After all now he is convicted of this murder. I would think that the vision of a brutal murder like this would be burned into his memory every time he closes his eyes.

After all he delivered 37 blows with 2 knives and almost decapitated her when he cut her neck from ear to ear, just to make sure.

Some of the people that have been emailing about this case has said they would send more information about Tanguay and all I can say is we will have to wait and see if they do email again.

As I said in the email to the person talking about I’m always interested in learning more about any case that I post.

Now only can the information be informative, it could also provide insight on how to keep you and your loved ones safe.

Now something else that I find alarming about this case is mom.

We have 2 very different opinions post about mom, but my question is where mom was while a 16 year old was out partying and drinking? Is this something she allowed to take place? Was she unable to control him?

Since first posting about this case a few years ago, we have had so many emails not only taking about mom, but talking about Tanguay as well. Some emails defended him and told me how awesome of a person he was and on the flip side some emailed and said he was nothing but a druggie/drunk

All I can say now is regardless of who is right and who’s wrong; it really makes no difference now. Tanguay is locked away for the rest of his life for committing such a brutal murder.

I got an anonymous email to remind me that this case was about to get started in court.

The first post we reported about Tanguay can be found here

In case you forgot about this case, it has to do with the fact that Tanguay is accused of brutally murdering his neighbor for 6 bucks so he could get some beer.

This case should be interesting on several different levels.

First I want to see his reactions during the trial.

I remember reading post in the media about his laughing and crying during some proceeding. So it should be interesting to see how he reacts after all this time has passed and he has had time to sober up and understand everything that is happening.

Second, if he will take the stand in his own defense. I know most attorneys recommend that the defendant never takes the stand, but there is always the possibility that he will testify.

Third, to find out what his motive was to commit such a brutal crime (allegedly)

This list could go on for a while but I will stop here and address the anonymous email I received.

The anonymous email addressed some issues with his mother.

The email stated that at the mothers’ place of employment it was well know she has a drug problem. It was reported that she was heard bragging about celebrating 420 and abusing prescription medications.

Then the email went on to say that she has an anger problem and they doubt her abilities to be a good parent.

Granted I cannot verify any of this information at this time and since the information arrived in an anonymous email, I cannot say 100% that any portion of this information is true and correct.

However, with this information coming in it should be interesting to see how the defense will handle information like this during the case.

Will they claim he was miss-treated as a child, introduced to drugs by his mother, this list could go on and on

Anyway, with the case getting ready to start we will all get he answers we have been waiting for in this case.

And on a side note, when I first posted about this case, there was another person that would email me on a regular basis talking about how good of a person Alan Michael Tanguay was and other positive things about him, if you want to email again, please do. As you can tell you asked to remain anonymous and after all this time you have remained anonymous. And the same will stand true to the person that emailed me about mom.. IF you ask to remain anonymous, I will honor that request in return for the information that you hold about this case.

The Power of Posting

The Power of Posting…

I know recently I have not spent a lot of time on the blog and updating this site like I used to but with my health as it is right now and all of the fund raising I’m working on my time is spread pretty thin right now.

If I could only get a kidney transplant and get back to a normal life… One of these days..

Anyway, this post has to do with the power of posting.

Today a total stranger called me and informed me my post about a case was creating problems. This case was back in Jan. 2009.

He nicely asked that I remove the post to help his son move on with his life. Of course I did not have the heart to say no, so I removed the post from my blog.

It’s easy to sit here and post away on this blog, but very seldom have I thought about the long term effects a post may have, like this post, years later the post is still showing up on internet searches and creating a problem for someone.

That’s not the intent of True Crime Cases by The Jakester.

We want to report the crime and follow up with what happened during the case or court proceedings, if possible.

Don’t get me wrong, I think the public has a right to know what happens especially when it comes to public safety officials that elect to step over that boundary between good and bad, but at the same time this person has paid the price and now it’s time to move on.

True Crime Cases by The Jakester wishes this person the best of luck and we truly hope removing the post from our site can help him get his life back together.

Fire Chief Arrested… Jamie Geer went from public servant to inmate.

The Clearwater Fire Department Chief is now an inmate at Pinellas County Jail.

He was arrested for Capital Sexual Battery on 12/13/2010 3:41:28 PM.

Even though there has not been a lot of information released about his arrest, they did state that Geer has had many sexual encounters with a juvenile victim over a 9 year period.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement received a complaint on the fire chief back in August and they started their investigation then.

Geer remains in jail on a $500,000 bond.

Oh well the fire he has started will never be put out with where he is going.

May God have mercy on his soul because no one else will.

Even watching shows like lock up, the inmates talk about how much they hate the sexual predators and how they will make the rest of his life a living hell.

I wonder if they suspended him with pay until his court date like they normally do in Pinellas County..

Luke Freeman, 15, a special needs student was at the Wayne Township School in Indianapolis when he claims that a security officer broke his hip.

Now if that’s not bad enough, they left him on the concrete floor for at least 2 hours before his mom arrived.

It was reported that the student was having an anxiety attack and he wanted to step outside to get some fresh air and before he was able to hit the door, security hit him, took him down to the ground and as they went down the security guard, that weighed in at 340 pounds, landed on the back of the 15 year old students leg and broke his pelvis.

Then the student was placed in an isolation room and left on the floor even though he complained of severe pain.

The student might have weighed in at 100 pounds, if that, he look like a pretty small guy on the video.

Luke Freeman was treated and his doctor confirmed he has a broken pelvis and it may require surgery.

About all the school had to say was they have launched an investigation and that they notified child protective services of the boy’s injury.

Is it me or does this sound like an over zealous security guard?

A 340 pound man could not control a 100 pound 15 year old without brutal force?

I understand the need to control a situation but I don’t understand a broken pelvis as a result of a tackle by a security guard.

Since this child has a history of anxiety attacks, I wonder if they allowed him to get fresh air in the past.

It should be interesting to find out more about this case.

Death Row Inmate Robert Power dies before we can execute him

Robert Power, 50, passed away at the Union Correctional Institute in Raiford.

Robert Power was sentenced to death in 1990 for his crimes. Power had kidnapped a 12 year old girl and at some point he brutally raped her.

Powers was convicted of raping a woman and 2 girls and killing a 12 year old in the 1980’s.

The media reports the reason Power has not been executed is his case was still in the appeals process and a death warrant has not been issued to but him to death.

What a joke our system has become.

Here we have a murderer and rapist that “was” serving a death sentence along with 8 consecutive life sentences for other crimes.

That’s right not 1 but 8 life sentences.

Why would we allow someone like this to continue to live?

So defense attorneys can make all the money possible from this case before he is put to death.

There is no reason to allow someone with this much prison time to live. We the tax payers have to support criminal’s everyday while we have people in our community going without food or shelter.

Even though his death was reported to be from natural causes, they are still going to send his body to the medical examiner to cost the tax payers more money to do an autopsy. Is this something that the family has requested? If so let them pay for it. We the tax payers don't need to know the reason he died.

Oh well, regardless of the reasons he died, he is dead and thats all that matters at this point.

Just a shame he wasn’t put to death by the system. We need to stop playing games with these people and put them to death in a timely manor.

Up in Jacksonville a home was broke into and instead of breaking in and stealing everything that wasn’t nailed down, this burglar decided to do something a little different.

Apparently he entered the home through the garage with a garage door opener he found in an unlocked car.

Hint make sure you car is locked and never leave the garage door opener in the car. And if you do, make sure the home is still secure and the garage is the only place they can go

Anyway, this guy decided he was hungry from him breaking and entering and he decided to bake some brownies.

Now at some time, maybe when the brownies were baking, he decided to surf the net and he downloaded some porn and was have a good ol’ time eating brownies and surfing the net.

Now with the breaking and entering and cooking and surfing, what does this criminal decide to do? Well he did not leave.

He decided to take a nap.

One of the beds in the home was slept in. I guess with everything going on it just wore him out and he needed a little rest.

Thank God the neighbor did not get shot. The neighbor went to check on the empty house and when he went around the corner, he had a gun pointed right at him.

Then after all the rest this guy got, he was able to run away and is still on the loose.

It’s a shame the police did not show up while he was napping…

San Antonio SWAT Officers Shot…

San Antonio Swat officers shot while trying to serve the suspect a warrant.

The suspect, decided to open fire on the police officers and 4 of the officers was hit as the suspect open fire with his assault riffle. The suspect fired 14 times. 2 of the officers was hit multiple times.

The suspect simply stated he did not realize they were police officers when he decided to open fire.

Are you serious? You just open fire because? Regardless of them being police officers what kind of person just opens fire with an assault riffle?

Now part of this case I like the most is the suspect has been charged with murder before.

This would have made an excellent case to talk about on In Session today when they were talking about the death penalty.

Of course we had some bleeding heart attorney that said we should not put anyone to death and that life in prison is worse than being put to death. This bleeding heart liberal even went on to say the inmate had no life in prison. Is she serious?

And yet another person made the comments that in other countries, they don’t have the death penalty, WHO CARES?

Look at the crime rates and the type of violent crimes we have, look at the number of people we already have in prison.

And then there was the old argument of it cost too much to have a death penalty case.

Once again, WHO CARES?

Look at the money we spend to house these low life felons for the rest of their life, my tax dollars go to provide everything these people need to live behind bars.

As you know, I do support the death penalty and during the discussion today on In Session they wanted to know when a person should be put to death

My answer would have to be, if they are a violent criminal, they should be dealt with violently. I think if they get the death penalty, they should die and within a set amount of time.

Then they said on the show today that someone was put to death that claimed he was innocent and now they want to question the outcome of that case. Once again, who cares? If any person is so involved in a murder case that they were convicted of murder, then they should die. Period

I posted here some time ago just in Florida alone last year we spent 60 million housing inmates and where does that money come from, we the tax payers.

So when you want to talk about cost does it really matter if the trial cost more? If we could take all the games and attorneys out of the legal process, that would improve our legal system greatly.

If I’m not mistaken the purpose of an attorney is to ensure that the defendants rights are not violated during the trial process.

However, this day and age, we have attorneys delaying cases for years, filing thousands of motions and costing the tax payers a lot of money and for what?

Look at the Casey Anthony case. Our courts have allowed this case to be dragged out too long already and they were in court again when a lot of the cost issues were addressed again. Not to go into details about that case, but these attorneys are playing games and wasting all this time and money by having all of these hearings and for what to help a child killer?

Our system certainly is not perfect, but it works. Sometimes mistakes are made I agree with that statement, but again I feel that if anyone was so involved with a case that ended in a violent crime or murder, we should be seeking the death penalty a lot more.

Then we had the same bleeding heart attorney saying on TV, that people don’t fear the death penalty and it does not make an impact on crime. She is so right, because of people like her, criminals know if they get the death penalty they have a better chance of dying of natural causes before being put to death, so what is there to fear.

However, if we as a legal system executed criminals in a timely manor and actually followed through with the execution people would fear the death penalty.

Not only did the comments on In Session get me fired up but also I was watching Lock Up a few nights ago and during this show they interviewed a serial murderer.

He was locked up for murder got, I forget how much time he got I think it was like 40 years or something like that, then while in prison he decided to murder again and the second time was given life to run concurrent with his original sentence. Now we have a person that has murdered twice and his response was well I have nothing to loose, I’m going to die in prison. Now if 2 people weren’t bad enough another cellmate looked at him wrong and what did this inmate do, took his life as well. Still no death penalty and he was given another life sentence for his 3rd murder. How many people have to die before we take serious action against these scum bags? I would love to hear the bleeding heart attorney defend her stance against the death penalty when other lives are being taken for no reason at all.

Our prisons are supposed to provide a safe environment for all inmates and even though they are inmates, they don’t deserve to die at the hands of another inmate. There is no reason whatsoever to keep a triple murderer alive. Maybe if he kills enough sooner or later they will put him to death.

By putting him to death alone would save the state at least $35,000 a year. Then multiple that over the 60 years he would have served that’s a total savings of $2,100,000 and that’s just for 1 inmate.

I can hear the bleeding heart attorney now, but what about the families that are going to lose a family member because of a State sanctioned murder.

My responses would be pretty simple, if the families were so concerned maybe they should have taken a more active role in the inmate’s life before he murdered so many people.

Then we have a death penalty case and in the state of this case the inmate can select the method of death and hanging is still a method of death. This inmate got a stay of execution because he was too fat to hang. The bleeding heart attorneys said it was likely to decapitate this inmate so he was given a stay of execution so we can pay to put this man on a diet so he can lose the weight needed so he can hang to his death.

What a bunch of crap. Would it really matter if he was decapitated? The end result would be death but we allow the attorneys to play games with the system and we the tax payers get to foot the bill for this nonsense

Now sadly we have a person accused of murder before now responsible for the shooting of 4 Swat officers.

And all this man could say was I didn’t know they were police officers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the officers and their families and the San Antonio Police Department and the community.

That’s right a murderer is coming to town…

Help Save My Life will be hosting a Murder Mystery Weekend in late February 2011 as a fund raiser.

We are looking for locations now and the Murder Mystery Company is willing to travel any where willing to host a for Help Save My Life and put on a Murder Mystery Weekend.

I know it’s a little early to announce that a Murderer is coming to town, but I have been pretty excited today getting all of this lined up.

Even though the show is not until late February, I need volunteers to help with the planning of the event.

Any takers?

I also need actors to act in the shows ( 5 per show)
