i have purchased a brand new DK3 Mug press
I had an order today for 100 mugs so perfect to start using mug press.

only problem is i cant get it to heat up any higher than 150f my chinkaknees mug press will go higher and usually sits at 185 sad to say my cheap o was out performing this piece of kit, im very much hoping its because im being thick.

Now i did google/read manual etc... before thinking of asking here, manual states how to increase temp but its not doing it.

Press TEMP then use arrows? ive tried it every which way.

any help greatly appreciated i would prefer to start using some proper equipment and rid myself of these chinkaknees presses.

JPSS seems to be the preferred paper

Where do you get it from in the UK?

I have found this site, does anyone use it? Recommeneded?

May seem a dumb question but I have never had an A3 printer.
So do A3 printers still print A4?
If you have an A3 printer, do you mostly buy A3 or A4 paper?

I have used the ryonet enviroline discharge products on several shirts with a lot of success. Today I was trying to do a discharge on shirts for a customer. I mixed the products as always, this print was to be done in pink so I used the white and a bit of red to get the color. For some reason the white is not mixing completely smooth, because of this when it goes through the screen onto the shirts there are small spots that come out white on the print. Also the very tiny "pieces" of white that are not completely mixing will then clog the screen after a few test prints.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Any solution that worked for you?

I have cleaned the screen, started over completely with remixing the discharge chemicals and had the same result. I just used the same white a couple days ago with no issues, it has been kept closed and sealed and appears the same consistency as it always has.

Thanks

NEXT LEVEL shirts bleeding after enzyme treatment, NEED HELP!

hi guys,
I recently bought 100 Next Level CVC v neck t shirts in a turquoise color that are a 60/40 cotton poly. I took them to a dyehouse where I asked for them to enzyme dye the shirt so it has a burn out type of look. I have seen them do this wash before so I know they are familiar with the process.

The difference though, is they usually receive the shirts in a 50/50 cotton poly in white, they dye the shirt there, then they enzyme wash it out to finalize the look.

The shirts I brought to them were already pre-dyed turquoise, so I asked them to simply enzyme wash the shirt to give it the same burn out look.

I received the shirts back, and when I threw them in my wash, apparently the color is still bleeding off of the shirt. The bleeding is so bad, I had to go back and vacuum out the turquoise dust particles left over in my dryer.

My question is, are these shirts not sellable at this point since the color continues to come off the shirt (to the point where taking the shirt off of you leaves turquoise dye on you) or is there a way to still lock in the color with some type of clear coat like silicone? I will also be putting graphics on the t shirts so I must stay uner 10% silicone.

I will post pics soon.

Thanks for any advice in advance!
