The most successful female vocalist, who many consider the best singer of all-time, and known as “The Voice”, Whitney Houston has passed at 48. Whitney was married to Bobby Brown before their divorce a couple years ago. She is survived by her daughter Bobbi Kristina.

Today, on the first day of Black History Month, we lost Don Cornelius the creator of the hit show “Soul Train.” Soul Train helped break down racial barriers and connect a country divided through song and dance. He was found in his home in California, with a gunshot wound to the head which is believed to be self-inflicted. He was 75. And as the Don would say we are wishing him “Peace, Love, and Souuuuuuuul”
