YEA!!! MORE Free Digital Scrapbooking Album Templates. Well, I was right, fall is in the air, it went from the mid 80's down to the upper 60's to lower 70's. It was so cold the other day we had a fire going in the house. As I was going through my photos to pick the right ones for the templates I noticed I didn't have many fall photos. I have a ton of Halloween and Thanksgiving photos but nothing that is just fall. This is all going to change this year, I am on a mission to take pictures of the trees changing color and of the mountain scenery of course with my kids in the foreground. I sure can feel it this week, YEP, Fall is in the air. Even though we just had 9 straight days of 80+ degree weather, I can still feel it, Fall will be here soon. As soon as school begins, the crisp cool air starts rolling in. I love Fall!!! To me Fall is the beginning of the Holiday season. First Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and then Christmas. I can't wait! Well this is the last weekend of the Summer for my babies. Next week it's back to school for my Grand-kids. Like I said before, it is bitter sweet, but I am so ready!!! My grand-kids in Virginia have already met their teachers and are very excited to get back to school. Abbie did a great job of cleaning up her room and clearing up the clutter, she is getting excited about the new school year also. ME TOO!!! Ok I am making it a little bit too obvious, but I can't wait for school to start. The fighting and bickering will be reduced to morning arguing YEA!!! So all I can say is study hard and read read read!!! Good Luck everyone. You Know whats next Halloween! WOOHOO!!!

Hey everyone, today I wanted to share with you my new favorite recipe.

Strawberries with Cream Cheese Filling. I saw this recipe on the Paula Dean Show and fell in love with these little bites of heaven. I started experimenting with this recipe to make it a little bit better for my taste. I use 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar instead of 1/4. My suggestion would be to use the 1/4 cup and see what you think then add more to your taste. These are simple and easy. They are a bit time consuming but worth every minute. I think they would be great for a special after school snack for your back to school kids so that is why I am posting it now. Click on the recipe card and a larger screen will come up right click on the image and save it to your computer to print.

OK so now that it is almost time for kids to start back to school it is finally getting nice here. I am not sure how long it is going to last but today really felt like Summer!!! My youngest son Jesse and I went on an adventure to take some photos and ended up hiking Wallace Falls. This is a place that I always wanted to go when I was younger but everytime we went there they were working on the trail, or it was closed because of so much rainfall, or the trail was washed away half way up, always something. Today as I was driving toward the Mountains I decided to take a detour and show Jesse the Falls that I have never seen before. Completely ignoring the fact that we had no hiking gear including water (what was I thinking!!!) but up we went.... The first part of the hike was a pleasant trek up a gradual incline but as we got closer to the falls the incline increased.... and increased... and increased.... The scenery was beautiful but I really didn't notice I was so.... tired. All I could think of "is this ever going to end". But needless to say we finally made it I have a photo to prove it. YEA!!!! Free Digital Download Back to School Day #3

It's getting closer and closer to School Registration!!! I must say I am a little bit worried about my grandson going into 6th grade he had trouble reading in elementary school and I know he is going to have a tough time adjusting to middle school. He will have no trouble getting along with the kids he is really outgoing and friendly. The education part he struggles with. I believe he has dyslexia he has not been diagnosed with it but his dad and grandfather had it, he reads the same way. With the school system cutting costs, I am not sure he will get the help he needs. As parents we need to fill in the gap where school leaves off. If they cut your child's pe class then make sure they are getting enough exercise at home. Turn off the TV, game boys and x-boxes and get them riding their bikes and playing some kind of sport. Reading is very important start your kid reading early. If they can read and do math they will shine and feel more confident. OK... OK... enough of me ranting, I could go on forever but I will spare you the negative energy that I am starting to feel.

Since this is the second time I am writing this, (my computer is acting up again) it will be short and sweet. I hope everybody had a great weekend. We had fun, we went up to deception pass and played on the beach. Not much sun up here but maybe that is a good thing. Today I went through my grandkids clothes that were here, I sent a bunch back home so their Mom and Dad can see what they have and start getting them ready for school. Which leads me to this, here is the second back to school template for the new school year.

Well it's that time again!!! Back to school. THANK GOD all of my kids have all graduated. But I do have 4 grandchildren still going to school. I know how crazy it is trying to get supplies and school clothes ready for your kids. So I thought it would be fun to give everyone a new Back to school template for elementary kids each week. Can you believe it? The last day of July!!! Back to School is right around the corner then Halloween, and yes only 5 months until Christmas. WOW!!! Time sure flies. Where is the Weekend!!! Free Digital download

I am not sure why, but this is the longest week ever!!! Monday and Tuesday was a couple of lazy days we didn't do much of anything so I am sure that contributed to this long week. But C'mon it's only Wednesday. Tomorrow is suppose to be a nice day around here. I am soooooo.....looking forward going to the beach or something. OH THAT'S RIGHT, I have to take my grandson to the Dr. to get a cast on his arm. Yep he broke it falling off his bike. Of course he had to break it on my watch when his Dad was out of town. We are lucky it wasn't too bad. Anyway a few years ago my brother did this template while he was trying to teach me adobe. With this week dragging on I though it was a perfect post. The bear photo is not included but I though it was a perfect photo to describe how I am feeling this week.

What on earth is a barefoot sandal? That is what I thought when I was first introduced to them, but my granddaughter loves them!!!

Summer is finally here. Hot everywhere in the country, well not everywhere, not here. You wouldn't know it was Summer around here, we have had a couple of nice days but for the most part it has been cloudy. So the inspiration for this template has nothing to do with the weather or Summer but a crazy idea I had the other day. HAMBURGERS ON A HOT DOG BUN ANYONE??? That's right I had a ton of hot dog buns left from Jesse's graduation party and no hamburger buns. So I got the brilliant idea to use them for hamburgers. Now there are several ways of doing this, 1.Make a round hamburger and cut it in half place on bun (easy right). 2. Cut the bun in half and place the hamburger on bun (not the best idea the buns fall apart). 3. The craziest way of all (and of course it was my first idea) form your hamburger patty in a long hot dog shape, cook and place on bun. . They were pretty good and the kids loved them. NO MORE HOT DOG BUNS YEA!!!! Now while I was cooking I was thinking about having a picnic you know hot dogs on the open fire. I can't wait for Summer to arrive here!!!

Thursday was a proud moment for me, my baby boy Graduated. Jesse is the last of my five children to graduate. I am so very proud!!! Of all of my children really, they are all amazing in their own way. Jesse is very creative and has a good eye for being an artist. He hopes to become a professional photographer one day. Knowing what is next is very hard for some kids but I think Jesse has a good handle on it. Hey everyone! I just made my first video tutorial and put it up on youtube!!! I am so terrible at this! I hope I get better. All I want to do is laugh. But I finally got through it and I wanted to share it as soon as I could. My first tutorial is on how to make scented hang tags. Some people call them grubby tags either way they are the same. It took me forever to figure out how to make these adorable hang tags so hopefully you will be as happy as I was when I found the recipe.

New Project

Sorry I haven't been blogging much the past couple of months, I have been working on a new project. A new company actually. It's the Cando puppet company. Hey everyone, I was going through my photos of this summer and came across the photos I had taken of my grandaughter getting her tonsils out. I know... I know.... some people say why on earth would you take photos of that, but this was a big deal to her. Well the kids are back in school and we are getting back into the routine of lunches, driving back and forth, and oh ya!!! HOMEWORK!!! I hate homework!. It is bitter sweet for me I really miss the kids after spending all summer with them. But now I have time to do what I love and that is creating photoshop templates. I only have my grandson Liam here. He is almost two and still he is not speaking very well. I am working with him trying to get him to learn his colors. He is a very smart boy he just doesn't have much to say. I took photos of two of my grandkids on the first day back to school and my daughter sent me photos of my other grandkids so I decided to make a templates for all the back to school photos.
