TTS Europe specialise in automotive industry training. With our team of dedicated automotive training professionals we design, develop, deliver training programmes and offer support to local colleges and their students.

The relationship started in 2001 and since then Southampton City College has benefited from 10 vehicles including the New Nossan Qashqai, diagnostic equipment, tools and various vehicle parts for their students education.

As part of dedicated support to Southampton City College we are very proud to be sponsoring two of their motor vehicle student awards. NVQ Level 2 Motoring Vehicle repairs and maintenance, and ABC Motor Vehicle Level 1 schol link programme. We have therefore been invited to go along to the prestigious Awards evening on Thursday 7th February at St Mary's football stadium betwwen 6.30-9.00pm.

Quality Assured Awards is an initiative from IMI Awards designed to formally recognise training programmes outside the National framework of qualifications, where there is an assessed outcome.

QAA provides an endorsement of the quality and integrity of our training, which is independently verified by the IMI, the motor industry-specific awarding body and your technician will be entered into the national IMI Awards Database. This provides a unique opportunity for candidates to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

Kia Motors UK World Cup Final 2008

The 2008 Kia Motors UK National Skill World Cup competition was held at TTS Europe, Salisbury. After spending an afternoon racing around Thruxton outdoor Kart Circuit, with some exciting wheel to wheel moments, 5 selected Kia UK technicians were put through a gruelling day of assessments.

The day involved assessing competencies, diagnosing of complex faults on 4 different Kia models and performing a written test. Later that evening a presentation dinner was held for all the participating technicians in one of Salisbury’s finest hotels. During this evening the winner was announced.

The winner from this UK final will represent the UK, both at the European final in Frankfurt in February, and at the World final which takes place in Korea during April 2008.

TTS Europe becomes an Approved Automotive Technician Accreditation Centre

TTS deliver blended learning to Nissan

TTS Europe has recently completed a highly successful project to develop and deliver two new technical training programmes for Nissan Europe.

Nissan Europe is launching a brand new vehicle, the Qashqai and a new diagnostic tool CONSULT-III at the same time and have been working very closely with TTS Europe to deliver the project within very exacting timescales. As a blended learning solution it has really worked and has been extremely well received by the European technicians.

Nissan describes the Qashqai as a milestone for the company. "Qashqai delivers all, which is why it will lead our sales growth in Europe and the growth in recognition of Nissan as a truly bold, thoughtful and innovative Japanese brand.

“We expect Qashqai will sell more than 100,000 units a year on average across Europe - with 80% of those customers buying a Nissan for the first time."

TTS Europe won the contract to design, develop and deliver the technical training programme in support of this significant new vehicle launch.

Delivered in Paris, the training programme consists of a pan European train the trainer programme incorporating trainer guides, delegate workbooks and practical worksheets. In addition, due to the success of previous productions, TTS Europe were also required to produce a technical training DVD to help inform technicians on the new technologies utilised on the Qashqai.

At the same time as the launch of the vehicle, Nissan Europe were also releasing the new diagnostic tool CONSULT-III with the Qashqai being the first new vehicle to be fully compatible.

The training on the new CONSULT-III hardware and diagnostic software developed by SPX had to be rolled out at the same time as the Qashqai training.

The inclusion of the CONSULT-III training made the whole project a fascinating challenge for TTS Europe as we were able to incorporate e-learning in to the mix as well as a further video and classroom activity.
As a blended learning solution it has really worked and has been extremely well received by the European technicians.

So effective is the video content as a real world guide, it has subsequently been re-purposed as flash video files and been loaded for streaming from the central training web site for technicians to view as required.
