Greek Awards Banquet

On April 19, 2011, the Theta Tau chapter again showed its dominance once again on campus by winning multiple awards at the 2011 Greek Banquet. These awards included:

1st in Greek Week

1st in Lip Sync Competition
2nd in Greek Cookout
2nd in Relay for life (raised over $2,000)

5 Star Chapter
2010 IFC Fraternity of the Year

We also had brothers win individual awards such as:

Patrick Wehby: Mr. Greek Life
Ben Hobbs: Greek Life's Best Dressed

The 30th Anniversary Pig Dinner is only 3 weeks away! We hope that everyone is already making plans to attend this year�s dinner. If you haven�t registered online yet, please do so as soon as possible. Currently, 45 Graduates have registered to attend this year and the list of those registered Grads is at the bottom of this email.

Instead of t-shirts, this year we are offering a Theta Tau Polo. A screenshot of the polo is available as part of the registration process so you can view what you are ordering. If you would like to purchase the Theta Tau Polo, you will need to register and place your order no later than this Wednesday Night (3/9) at Midnight! In order to receive the shirts in time for Pig Dinner our full order must be place on Thursday.

Brian Douglas Speaks at Pig Dinner

Brian Douglas is going to be the keynote speaker at the Kappa Tau Pig Dinner on April 9^th in Knoxville.� Kappa Tau has asked him to talk about the expansion efforts that are going on with Phi Gamma Delta Internationally and some of the issues the fraternity is facing with problems at chapters etc.

We have a large number of Theta Tau brothers living in the Knoxville area and Kappa Tau Chapter would like to welcome any of them who would like to attend our dinner to hear Brian.

Section Olympics held at TTU

On Saturday Nov. 6th, the Theta Tau Chapter was host to Brothers from the nearby Chapters at Western KY (Chi Eta), the Univ. of Tennessee (Kappa Tau) and the new Delta Colony at Vanderbilt. The Brothers enjoyed getting to know each other and increasing their Brotherly bonds across Chapters while competing in Flag Football and Softball.
