Our latest release is an EP from BONE CUTTER, a new band formed from the ashes of Heavy Heavy Low Low and includes producer Sam Pura. This EP is 4 tracks of in-your-face punk with a lot of weird twists.

Thrilled to announce the next Twelve Gauge release is the debut LP from Oakland, CA three-piece grind/pv band World Peace. Come And See will be released digitally, on vinyl, and cassette on March 12, 2021. Across the twenty tracks on their debut LP “Come and See”, World Peace further dial in their brand of low end violence. Featuring no guitars and track lengths averaging 30 seconds, WP examine the co-dependency of man and god through a “less is more” sonic approach. Elements of bands like Water Torture, Vaccine, and even Sissy Spacek can be detected, but this Oakland three-piece craft a sound wholly their own. Recorded in September 2020 by Charles Toshio at Panda Studios. Mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.

Year in Review

2020 was an absolutely shit year for so many reasons and in many ways that led to being a huge motivator for me to keep going and try to do good with the label which I feel I was able to do and am very proud of. Between releases, auctions and misc. sales, we raised and donated close to $5,000 to mutual aid funds, bail out funds, and to organizations that needed it to support the fight for justice for all. This was all due to the hardworking bands who partnered up with me and the amazing supportive fans out there who buy records, shirts, donate, etc.. Thank you for everything.

So excited to announce our newest and 50th release, the debut LP from Columbus, Ohio’s for your health. “In Spite Of” comes out on vinyl, cassette, and digitally February 12, 2021 with pre-orders launching next Thursday at 6pm EST to coincide with a hate5six livestream in which the band will perform new material. Friday the 13th either confirms your worst fears or convinces you to plunge into a brave new world, superstitions be damned. Columbus mathcore quartet for your health—vocalist Hayden Rodriguez (they/them), guitarist Damian Chacon (he/him), bassist Johnny DeBorde (he/him), and drummer Mike Mapes (they/them)—were set to continue their relentless touring schedule in Austin after clocking in twenty sets in February. On Friday the 13th, they decided to stay home.

This choice may have left others broken, but for your health was built this way. Urgency and spontaneity are linked together in their DNA—just ask Hayden, who formed the band after some road dates fell through in August 2018. The lineup came together from roommates and acquaintances to play a show at the drop of a hat. Their first releases—the Nosebleeds 7” and the Death of Spring with close collaborators and friends Shin Guard were written in practices split up by lengthy smoke breaks and recorded at blistering speed. Now that they faced their longest pause yet, their loudest actions came roaring over COVID-sponsored silence.

Hopefully the upgrades here will stop you from labeling them a screamo band. By allowing their individual influences to shine through, the result defies easy categorization. “Push the Fucking Rock, Sisy” is pure grindcore, a dizzying mess of cymbals and spit venom. “Save Your Breath, You’re Gonna Need It to Blow My Head Off” splits the difference between danceable sass and chaotic metalcore, and “Abscess Makes the Heart Grow” finds the band at their most melodic, with threaded guitar and building percussion in lockstep with each other. Beneath the panic chords and the concussive breakdowns, this is the calculated result of claiming Fall Out Boy as much of an influence as faithful allegiances to Daughters and At the Drive-In. And it almost didn’t exist.

I’m thrilled to finally announce that I’ll be putting out a record that’s very special to me. It’s made up of some of my best friends in life playing a raw, emotional, sad sound that’s hard to compare to anything else.

Written in a dungeon on a beach somewhere in Santa Cruz, Downstaaiirs’ Weeping/Creeping is the band’s debut EP originally released on 3/8/13 as a limited 50-tape run on Like Young Records, now seeing new light as a limited edition lathe cut 12" accompanied by another run of tapes with new art. Recorded at The Panda Studios with Sam Pura.

I hate keeping secrets and this was a hard one. Ever since my friend Robbie told me about this band I couldn’t stop listening to them. They brought me back to the late 2000s when I’d go to show four times a week and the heavier a band was, the better. This is for fans of Ed Gein, Maruta, Daughters and the like.

I am pleased to welcome THIN to the Twelve Gauge family.

Thin is a 3-piece mathgrind band from New York City that formed in the spring of 2019. The band delivers a chaotic, aggressive, and unhinged barrage of blasting drums, off-kilter grooves, and slashing guitars. Thin released their debut LP, dawn, on April 20, 2020, which Decibel Magazine described as a “cover-to-cover assault on the brain.” Pressed to cassette in the US and Europe (Lower Class Kids Records), dawn is seeing new life in the form of a one-sided 12”LP, along with a repress of the tape, on Twelve Gauge Records. For fans of Ed Gein, Maruta, and Daughters.

Tomorrow we release a 12″LP and Cassette combo that’s in hands and ready to ship, along with an awesome shirt by Sean Leary.
