Traveling to Japan seems like a distant dream at the moment, but at least I can share some memories from the past trips. This is Himeji city seen from the Bizenmaru Plaza at Himeji Castle.&lt;/p&gt;

The Hyakken roka corridor, or the long corridor in Himeji Castle complex. It includes the 240-meter long corridor with maids’ rooms and a room used by princess Sen, the eldest daughter of the shōgun Tokugawa Hidetada.&lt;/p&gt;

This must have been one of the most dramatic misty mornings at Lake Jyväsjärvi that I’ve witnessed. A bit after I took this photo, it became impossible to see to the opposite shore.
