Walking to work at seven in the morning, the wind was bursting around every street corner, tearing show posters off phone poles and gethering hundreds of them at this intersection. When I arrived at the scene two dogs were playing in the pile.

Yikes! My custom tumblr theme is LIVE in the theme garden! It’s at the top of the recent themes page and already has 50 blogs using it. This is so exciting!

Please let me know if you have any suggestions as to how I can improve it. I have several additions planned, but what I get to first will probably be dictated by what people request.

I just bought this program “Tune Up” that takes the first few seconds of every song in your iTunes library and compares it to its online database in order to make sure all your songs have the right tags on them. Much of my iTunes meta-data was lost when I accidentally erased an external hard drive a few months ago and I’ve been using the program to repair it.

To my surprise Cho Young and the Davenports, my old band from college, is listed in the Tune Up database!

I’m excited to post that my first custom tumblr theme is available to install to your blog by clicking here!

It features seven mini illustrations I did for the design, notes, and the ability to customize just about all of the colors in the theme.

Creating a custom theme for tumblr is something that I’ve wanted to do since I joined the service in May of 08, and one of the primary reasons I spent so much of this last year learning to write code.
