Annual reviews of staff performance are now commonplace in large organisations.

Check out the appraisal performed by David Brent in the comedy series ‘The Office’.  He is lamely trying to appraise the performance of one of his subordinates.  The guy being questioned mostly answers ‘I dunno’ to each question.  When he gets asked about his strengths he replies ‘doing accounts’.
