Recently I have analyzed my Google analytic records and I found that around 30% of total traffic of my blog comes through mobile. So I have decided to create optimized mobile version of my blog to ease my readers. I have came to know about Blogger's mobile version for blogs recently and find it very interesting and lite weight downloads in few seconds.

This Blogger's features let's to create mobile version of your blog in very easy steps. So if you want to attract more users to your blog then you must use this Blogger's feature.

Here's the following simple steps to create mobile version of your blogger blog:

1. Login to your Blogger account using your G-mail user id and password.
2. In dashboard click on Settings > Email & Mobile
3. Select option Yes. Show mobile template on mobile devices.

4 Types of CSS Hacks for Web Designers and Developers

Here's the following list:

Conditional stylesheets

Following are the good example of Conditional stylesheet for Internet Explorer. Conditional comments used easily to specify stylesheets that should only be loaded in IE, or even in specific versions of that browser. Don't worry about Non-IE browsers, it treats conditional comments as HTML comment.

Above CSS hack used differently in specific versions of IE, it would look something like this:

6 Techniques to write better CSS for your next project

Hello my dear readers. I am writing this post after a very long time as I was very busy in my projects so I didn't get time to write. This post is for whom who really want to write CSS style in better and manageable way. So if you are fresher or intermediate level developer you need to read this post very carefully.

In this post I going to explain how you can maintain or manage your CSS with some techniques. If you write your CSS in better way then it will help you to maintain it in future. So here's following tips to improve your CSS writing:

1. Defining Body and H1, H2 etc.

A very first and basic step of CSS to define body of your html doc. See image below how you can define your body and H1, H2, H3 etc. tags.

2. Declaring Float, Margin, Padding, Border and Clear Both

In this 2nd step you need declare Float, Margin, Border and Clear Both for whole project. Once you declare these attributes alone you don't need write again and again. Look at the image below:

3. Declaring styles for Links and Images

In this 3rd step now you can define style for your anchor link and image tags. This would help you to use these styles easily in your html document. Have look to below image:

4. Declaring Typography styles

This is very important step your CSS. In this step you can declare whole typography styles for your html. Here you can define style for h1 to h6 tags and P tag for paragraph styling. Please see reffered image below:

5. Declaring styles for Layout

In this 5th step you need declare styles for master layout like Header, TopNav, LeftNav or Right Nav and Conent wrapper using ID and classes as per your requirement. Look at image below for reference:

6. Declaring styles for Footer

In this final step you have to define style for your master footer. You can define footer style by using ID. Please see image below:

While the convenience of online access everywhere and anywhere is easy to take for granted, it’s important to maximize your mobile phone’s wireless Internet connection by following these 5 tips:

Wireless Firewall Security

A firewall helps prevent other Internet users from accessing your computer and data through an Internet or local network connection. Firewalls are extremely common in wired connections, but are just as important when using a free wireless hotspot or your own wireless connection from a paid service provider. Mobile systems such as Microsoft Windows Mobile and the Android platform have built-in security measures, but it’s best to also utilize a third party firewall program purpose-made to protect mobile wireless Internet connections. Because hotspots and wireless hubs are exposed to a greater number of connections than simply a standard wired Internet connection, it’s important to keep your data safe with a firewall system that works with your mobile phone.

Merging Your Design and High Quality Content

Copywriters and web designers are usually separated into two different groups as they are often thought of as being two entirely different professions. Indeed they are. However, good content writers learn to use their content to compliment the way in which a web page is designed. A great deal of web design techniques can be easily merged with high quality content to make a more cohesive and attractive total web page.

As it is often said, if content is king then web design is the country over which it rules. Few kings that didn't reflect their country stayed in power for long. Merging your design and high quality content is the best way to attract readers and hold their attention.

Become Familiar with Space

This is a concept that often thwarts the average beginning Internet writer. When writing for school or creating a novel, little consideration is given to the importance of creating space between groups of text. Do not try to cram as many words into a single area as you can. The average piece of online content should be 500 to 750 words. As the typical reader only scans your content, creating space to make this easier will help them do so. Try the following to create space in your content:

Use lists where appropriate rather than using a great deal of commas within block text.
Include at least one space between every header and subhead.
Make sure you also include a space between paragraphs in lieu of indenting.
Format your page so that words do not come too close to advertisements or banners. Especially with flashy ads, content can be very difficult to read if it comes too close.

Experiment with Fonts and Color

The old way of publishing content online is beginning to change. Now, a variety of fonts and special text applications are available. Feel free to use a font that makes your content easier to read. Within reason, larger letters are much easier to scan than small ones. You can feel free to choose a font that compliments your design. For example, a web site on Medieval weaponry might benefit from a few entries using an easy to read yet antiquity looking font such as Book Antiqua or Monotype Corsiva.

In addition, using a color in the web design to accent important text can be an excellent way to bring attention to such entries and assist with content scanning. This also creates a hidden connection with your readers that can build credibility. In general, the more time and effort that you put into creating content that is obviously built for a specific page, the more your readers will trust that the content is reliable and trustworthy.

How Important DOCTYPE Declaration is for your HTML Document

Today I am going to share a very basic problem related to DOCTYPE declaration. We all know that according to HTML standard it is must that each HTML document has document type declaration. The "DOCTYPE" begins the HTML document and tells a validator which version of HTML to use in checking the document's syntax.

Have you ever think if you don't include DOCTYPE declaration in your HTML document specially when you convert your HTML document to any dynamic page like .php or .aspx. If your answer is no then following are the problem you could face during browser compatibility check:

1. First and major issue you'll face DIV element centering. If you have used margin: 0 auto 0 auto; to centering the any DIV element in your in your page it will go left align in the IE6 and IE7. Look at example below:

2. If you have used padding in any DIV element and adjusted the width of that DIV element it won't show correct in IE6/7. Look at example below:
