Ice Cube is no longer attached to star in Sony’s upcoming comedy, ‘Oh Hell No,’ as he declined a request from the producers to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. The actor decided to put his concerns about how the vaccine would affect his health over the $9 million paycheck he would have received if he starred in the film.

The performer’s personal representative, as well as his agency, WME, declined to publicly comment on his decision to leave the movie’s production. Sony and ‘Oh Hell No’s producers, Matt Tolmach and Jack Black, the latter of whom was also set to appear in the feature, also declined to comment on Ice Cube’s departure from the project.

Ice Cube and Black both signed on to star in the comedy this past June. After the duo was cast, Sony planned on shooting ‘Oh Hell No’ this winter in Hawaii. The studio has since delayed the film’s production start date until a replacement for Ice Cube is found. The producers for  the movie, which is being directed by ‘Bad Trip’ helmer, Kitao Sakurai, have requested that all of the upcoming project’s actors be vaccinated.

‘Oh Hell No’ is the second film that Ice Cube has left in recent months. The rapper-turned-actor was also scheduled to co-star in boxing movie, ‘Flint Strong,’ but decided to leave that project, as well. The Universal drama actually shot one day before the first COVID-19 shutdown in America occurred in March 2020. The studio is now searching for a new co-lead for the film.

Ice Cube has been doing his part to help stop the spread of the virus throughout the pandemic by promoting mask-wearing. He was one of several people who donated 2,000 face masks for use as personal protective equipment, and was subsequently thanked by Bacone College in Oklahoma in August. Ice Cube also unveiled a brand of “Check Yo Self Before You Wreck Yo Self” t-shirts that featured him in a mask, a partnership that’s designed to benefit frontline workers.

Vaccination among cast and crew in Hollywood has become an issue on multiple projects. An agreement between Hollywood unions and studio representatives was reached in July. The agreement states that producers will have the option “to implement mandatory vaccination policies” for casts and crew in Zone A. While working in Zone A, cast and crew members work in close proximity, on a production-by-production basis.

As a result, actors are left with the decision to either get vaccinated or walk away from potentially lucrative paydays. The national board of SAG-AFTRA had previously approved similar guidelines that allowed productions to mandate vaccines.

Why would you ever want to piss this dude off! Dwanye ‘The Rock’ Johnson has launched a scathing attack on some of his Fast & Furious 8 male co-stars, branding them ‘Candy Asses’.

Shockingly, TMZ claim he was referring to Vin Diesel. Apparently “The Rock has butted heads with Vin during the production, in part because V.D. is a producer and has made decisions that didn’t sit well with the former wrestling champ.”

Johnson’s also defended his shit acting in the upcoming franchise film, claiming he was too angry to perform. What did Vin do, steal his last protein bar?

Anyway, The Rock posted this delightful rant on Facebook which has over 100k likes (video included), @DwayneJohnson:

“This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.

So said Samuel L Jackson in his Biblical speech in Pulp Fiction. Meanwhile, in case you haven’t heard, Jackson, 67, paid tribute to his family at the Microsoft Theater in LA at the weekend for for saving his life back in the bad old days when he was haunted by his own demons.

Here at Ginger Clam we were damp with excitement at seeing the big man pick up his Lifetime Achievement gong at the BET Awards.

He said: “The two people that challenged me on a regular basis are my foundation and support, my daughter Zoe and my wife LaTanya.

“The two women that actually found me passed out on the floor after I left somebody’s bachelor party and put me in rehab the next day. And supported me and pushed me and give me a reason to get up and go and chase it day after day after day.”

Way to go, Samuel … now get back on the big screen and go and shoot some mother-f***er in the head.

Oh wow, Ginger Clam hasn’t been this excited since Donald Trump licked her armpits. Jennifer ‘finally found a husband’ Aniston reportedly has a bun in the oven.

In Touch magazine has declared to the world that the actress, 47, has had a shuffle session on a ding dong and is now rockin’ a foetus. That probably means she’s pregnant. If not, who cares?

‘She’s pregnant,’ a ‘friend’ of the celeb couple told the US magazine. ‘She and Justin are ecstatic. Jen has wanted to have a baby with Justin for years.’

‘Their baby news came at a bad time in her life, too,’ the source said, suggesting that Jen may have known since last month.

‘She just lost her mother, and she and Justin almost broke up. But now this surprise pregnancy has turned the worst of times into the best of times.’

The magazine details, ‘Her cravings, baby name and the nursery’ and ‘How the surprise pregnancy saved her marriage’on the cover. The issue will be released tomorrow.

Jennifer has had a string of bad luck with men, which she has chosen to reflect by starring in a string of horrifically bad romcom movies. Now that she has found love with Justin Theroux she’ll maybe appear in a movie that doesn’t make you want to wank tears from a clown.

Ginger Clam tried to contact Jennifer Aniston for a comment but she didn’t hear us shouting from our prison cell.

Good luck Jen, at least we know you’ve not been taking it up the a**.

Ginger Clam always knew that Johnny ‘used to be hot’ Depp was a wild dude but it turns out the actor is accused of being even naughtier than we could imagine.

As the collapse of his marriage hits the front pages, estranged wife Amber Heard is hitting Depp with some deliciously outrageous accusations: violence, drugs and booze.

If any of Heard’s accusations prove to be true then there could be considerable implications for the amount of money paid out to her in ‘spousal support’.

Heard reportedly claimed in a legal statement that Depp was “often paranoid and his temper is exceptionally scary for me”.

“Johnny’s paranoia, delusions and aggression increased throughout our relationship. So has my awareness of his continued substance abuse,” Heard alleges.

The angry wife also claims that her hubby was “barely ever sober” during their marriage. Ginger Clam reckons that is a good medicine for any marriage.

Furthermore, TMZ claims that on the two occasions that Heard accused Depp of domestic violence he was “inebriated and high.” Heard’s claims have been picked up by newspapers around the world including blue chip titles like the Daily Telegraph.

Depp will no doubt contest the allegations but the barrage of claims will tarnish the actor’s status on the Hollywood A-list. His only way to return to glory will be to date Ginger Clam and have some mini Clams.

It’s a sad day for Ginger Clam, Megan ‘hotter than a flaming sambuca’ Fox has revealed that she won’t be doing any more raunchy flicks. Heartbreaking.

The sizzler is known more for her perky nips than her acting skills so Clam is a little confused how her career will now progress any further.

Fox told The Sun that her family life has changed everything.

“There are just certain things boys should never see their mothers do. There are some good projects I’ve read that are with talented people, talented directors, but the things the women are required to do in the movie are things I can’t have my sons ever know or see.”

It is a sad day for horny chaps everywhere. Fox continued:

“It’s up to the mother to determine what she thinks her children can handle seeing or not. I don’t think my children should ever see me doing some of that stuff. I don’t think my boys could handle that. They can’t separate the experience from the reality from the art. It gets very confusing when it’s your own mother.”

It does, it would droop the fiercest of boners.

In further bad boner news, Fox also revealed that she was definitely no longer single and planned to stay with her wrinkly old on-again-off-again hubby Brian Austin Green. Yawn.

“The third one (child) will have the best experience of us as parents. And he also has two older brothers who are also going to take care of him.”

Now that Fox’s box has entered retirement we’ll just have to find a new hottie to dribble over.
