No, your eyes aren't playing tricks, TVXQ cutie Xiah Junsu's twin brother really is making his big break on the kpop scene!

Meet Kim Junho (김준호), the bigger and badder version his younger counterpart. Standing at 188cm, Junho played baseball in his university years and reportedly has an athletic bod and good looks reportedly akin to actor Jo Han Sun... talk about idol material!

Last year, Junsu introduced his fraternal twin to the world on Introducing Star's Friend. Because of his attractive looks and build, Junho snagged a commercial project with a Sahmyook, a soy milk company (though I can't imagine why a soy milk CF would need someone with a hot body, but whatever). The source revealed that, by Junsu's recommendation, Junho has been getting vocal training from The One, a talented singer in Seoul GangNam that also taught Junsu. He's also been taking more than three years of acting classes and has been preparing diligently for his debut

Despite his viral popularity and masculine appearance, Junho has a relatively placid personality. “He is like the Buddha so we never fought when we were young,” Junsu expressed. “Since we were young, he would yield everything so we would always go out and play sports together.”

Kim Junho's debut follows the recent break outs of SNSD beauty Jessica's younger sister Krystal in f(x) as well as Thunder/Sang Hyun the younger brother of 2NE1's Dara. Furthermore,bandmate Jaejoong's Mother also tried her hand at singing a while back. I guess talent really can run in the family!

[News] 201009 One Shot Kiss for Yunho?

On their MBC drama, "Heading to the Ground," main characters and love interests Jung Yunho and Go Ara have a kiss scene. The two faux lovebirds accomplished the scene in one take! Kiss scenes usually require multiple takes. Does anyone remember Sandara Park and Lee Minho? That took about 100 takes!

The scene takes place in an alley type setting and if you've seen enough Korean dramas, that's a usual. Yunho confesses his feelings for Go Ara and kisses her immediately after. The staff had a good laugh from watching the two film the scene as they maintain a very friendly, sibling-like relationship with one another on set.

When asked about the one-take scene, Yunho commented, "At the time, I wasn't thinking about the actress Go Ara. I thought about her as girl on the show I know and got in the acting mode quickly. If the director yelled 'cut!' I thought I would get more embarrassed but thankfully Go Ara lead me well. I'm happy filming ended well."

It has been belatedly revealed that actor Jung Yunho fainted during a shooting.

On the 12th, Jung Yunho's facial muscles contracted during the shooting and he was rushed to the hospital.

On the 15th, one official from 'Heading To The Ground' told Money Today Star News that, "As we approached the 70% mark of the drama's filming, it became apparent that stamina plays a big part."

The official also said that Jung Yunho, despite being told to rest up after treatment at the hospital, returned to shooting the drama on the 13th. The official went on to say that on top of the weeks of all-night shootings and the stress of the lead role, the controversy of his acting and the mental stress weighed down on Jung Yunho's state/condition.

On the other hand, BongGoon (Jung Yunho) and SeungWoo's (Lee SangYoon) conflict in 'Heading To The Ground' is making things interesting.

[News] 091015 TVXQ fails to reach agreement with SM Entertainment again

Most of you already know that Hero Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu, and Micky Yoochun of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki are having issues with SM Entertainment. If you don't, you're probably living under a rock.... Anyway, the three applied for provisional disposition on July 31st citing unfair terms and conditions of their contracts with SM Entertainment.

The three members, who asked the court to suspend their contracts with the agency, have failed to reach an agreement. We knew on September 15th that talks broke down and that the Seoul Central District Court was going to try to settle the matter again on September 30th. However, the three members refused to negotiate. The Court will not be summoning them again and will reach their final decision... when you ask? Your guess is as good as mine, but I'm thinking it'll be soon... probably some time this month.

It's been around 2 months since this unfortunate situation first took place. The court is about to make a hard decision, whether it be the 3 leaving the company and the group itself, SM spilling the beans, changing their contracts (possibly for all SM artists) and everything going back to normal. Who knows, but I hope for the best. In any case, the decision should come sooner than later so stay tuned for it

[NEWS] 090914 Court Mediation Failed.

The three members of group TVXQ who have unfair contract dispute with their agency SM Entertainment presented at the court secretly on last October 13th, however had failed to reach agreement with SM. Previously on October 12th, the two side had submitted a final official stand documents that have been required since early this month for review to make final decision.

At the end of July this year, 3 TVXQ members (Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu) filed their disposition application to Seoul Central District Court to terminate the exclusive contract effect against SM Entertainment. Reprortedly on July 30th at 4 pm, wearing sunglasses, the members entered hurriedly to the side entrance of the court building. They secretly received report about the trial request date and other information regarding the case was not disclosed. There was no appearance of the fans, and even most of court staffs couldn’t recognize the three members who disguised themselves just like ordinary civilians and they could move without any fuss.

On August 22nd the legal representative of the 3 members forwarded members’ thought to the court, “We found it very difficult to improve and reach our goals in this industry if we live under SM’s management with all its terms and conditions.”. It’s also reported that, “The arguments happened with SM Lee Soo Man regarding this dispute already reached our highest limit of emotion.” Meanwhile the other two members who don’t participate in the legal case and still have listed activities with SM said, “It’s not possible to breakdown a group of 5 people who actually still want to work together.” showing their intention to keep shinning together as a group.

After the failure of yesterday’s mediation between two sides, court won’t summon the 3 members any further and will make its final decision soon.

DongBangShinKi attended the court for an agreement but failed.

TVXQ’s Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu submit today in court, despite the court’s mediation efforts to reach a consensus.

In the past three months, DBSK members and SM Ent attended at the Seoul Central District Court to coordinate the process of the case. The court agreed that both sides should come up with an amicable decision but because of the differences between each other, the agreement did not end the conflict.

For TVXQ “They have the deep feeling that their goal which is changing their work conditions seems to be difficult to reach”.

The court is planning to make a difficult decision for both sides later in the month.

Meanwhile last July 31st, the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki 3 filled an exclusive contract validity suspension and provisional disposition request.

The three members of the boy band TVXQ who asked the court to suspend their contracts with their agency, SM Entertainment, have failed to reach an agreement with the agency.

The Seoul Central District Court tried to settle the matter on September 30 between Xiah (real name Kim Jun-soo), Hero (real name Kim Jae-joong) and Mickey (real name Park Yoo-chun) and SM Entertainment, but to no avail.

「One of Asia’s biggest group Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK), has 3 of its members in a possible lawsuit against their own company SM Entertainment. DBSK members Xiah JunSu, Micky YooChun and Hero JaeJoong had gone to Seoul Central District Court to hand in an application for provisional disposition to terminate all effects of their exclusive belonging rights contract with SM on 31st July. This raised concern among fans about the group’s potential break up. By hearing this out breaking news, overseas fans have put their efforts into an international project. A DBSK’s overseas fan who’s the mastermind of this project has created a channel at YouTube and posted the video by 21st of September entitled, “동방신기 DBSK International Fansong Project 2009”.

Fans are from MALAYSIA, SINGAPORE, VIETNAM, THAILAND, BRUNEI, MYANMAR, and even from USA, ENGLAND, GREECE, AUSTRIA, GERMANY, PERU, and SPAIN. These fans recorded a video of themselves singing DBSK’s song; “Don’t Say Goodbye”. Eventhough the song is in Korean, it’s not a big deal for these fellow fans.

“Don’t Say Goodbye” video made by the fans is corresponding with the lawsuit case and these international fans just want to show that the different in nationalities and language spoken may not be a great barrier between DBSK and international fans. This video is one of their thousand ways to convey their love and support for DBSK, their idol.

In the video, they’ve put some messages saying that,

-“We may not speak good Korean”
-“We may not be professional singers”
-“But this is our way of saying, Our Beloved DBSK, Thank You for the Music…”
-“Even though we may not share the same skin colors…,”
-“Even though we may not speak the same languages…,”
-“Your music and hard work have brought us smiles”

-“or share your pain…”
-“Please know that we are behind you no matter where we are…”
-“Always keep the faith!”

The messages are so warm and sad. The overseas fans are hoping for this lawsuit case which cause a very hard time for DBSK being solved quickly and the relationship between DBSK and their agency, SM Entertainment to be reconciled.

No one can hide this good news from DBSK fans. The videos recently have become hit and many people were posting this video at their forums, blogs or other fan sites and cafes. It’s all about wishing and praying for DBSK and SM Entertainment to solve their case with peace.

Three of the five members of K-pop group DBSK are creating a stir by taking legal action against their management agency. Hero, Micky and Xiah submitted Friday to the Seoul Central District Court an application for provisional disposition to terminate the validity of their contract with SM Entertainment, Yonhap News reported Saturday. Max and U-Know did not take part in the legal action. This situation are said to cause the complication among them as a band but one of the members has stood up and said, “There are no such disbanding issues. It’s all rumors and we’re still in good relationship.”」

[News] 090923 SM Entertainment’s request gets thrown down

SM Entertainment asked the court that Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu's request for SME's evidence be cancelled, but the court refused.

On August 5th of 2009, TVXQ's Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu demanded that SME show them the full contract terms, income records, and other documents that SME hid from them.
The court took TVXQ's side on that conflict, and ordered SME to provide the related documents in trial.

But, SME insisted that the documents weren't subject to investigation according to Korean civil law and that a specific time frame and type weren't specified.
SME then demanded that TVXQ's request for those documents be refused by the court, only to be rebuffed by the court itself.

The Seoul Central Court stated that, "The documents in question have been created by the artists and their affiliated company about legal matters, and according to civil lawsuit proceedings, the owners of the document have no right to withhold the documents from court nor others involved with the documents. Therefore SME's claim that the documents shouldn't have to go under examination is an unreasonable claim."

So it looks like SM has no more tricks up their sleeves. Now we will all know why SME has been so reluctant to reveal the income records and the contract terms.

The court has ordered that SME provide the documents within 10 days.

Things are heating up, and what seems like this infinitely postponed court ruling will finally be revealed by the end of September.

But don't let it fool you. This is just one trial of many that will spring up from this TVXQ issue.

TVXQ Fans Submit More Petitions On the 21st
Note: Cassiopeia at DNBN would like everyone to know that the petitions submitted were not asking the Courts to stop the disbandment of TVXQ, but instead were highlighting the unlawful parts of the contracts and asking the Courts to amend said parts.

In accordance to the current dispute between five member group TVXQ and their agency regarding their exclusive contract, fans have submitted petitions asking the Courts to stop the disbandment of the group.

According to the Seoul Disctrict Courts, Ms. J, who identified herself as a TVXQ fan, submitted a petition under her name that included the signatures of fans; her second one after the first that was submitted on the 15th.

However, Ms J is not the only one to do so. As soon as the lawsuit between TVXQ and their agency was publicized by the media, the fans have been continually submitting petitions to the Courts.

Soon after the dispute was known by the media, Ms. Y submitted numerous petitions made by TVXQ fans on August 20th. On the 8th this month, Ms. K, Ms.C and Ms. Y gave the Courts more petitions that were comprised of signatures of fans. All of these documents are physical proof of the hearts of the fans who do not want TVXQ to disband.

As the document submission for both sides has already ended on the 11th, both sides have stated, "We cannot talk about the details of the consensus both sides were attempting to reach as the court decision has not been made," and "Since this is a very sensitive subject, we will have to approach it carefully."

Sejong Law Firm, that is representing the three members (Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu) of TVXQ, stated to a StarNews reporter today that, "All documjents from both sides have been submitted. All there is left is the Court's verdict" and "As this is a suspension request, the verdict date was not set at the beginning so we don't know when the verdict will come. We are waiting nervously for the results."

Unfortunately this won't be counted towards the ORICON chart, but mumo is Japans version of ITUNES.
