How many followers does tweeting a plane crash gain you?

Janis Krums has not been a widely known name to most people. He is @jkrums on Twitter and had 149 followers on January 14th 2009. On January 15th he had close to 2,100 followers. At the time of writing he has now 2,847 people who follow him on Twitter. TwitterCounter even predicts he will have nearly 3,300 followers on January 17th.

@jkrums is the guy who took the famous picture of the plane crash of flight no. 1549 in the Hudson River in NYC with his IPhone and posted it to Twitter.

Thanks god, every person in this airplane survived the air crash.

Using Feedburner FeedFlare to turn visitors into Twitter followers

I was looking for a Twitter FeedFlare and found one at Thejesh GN. It's not a very fancy one, but I wonder if it can drive followers to my Twitter Account.

I have setup Feedburner Feeds and Blogspot Blogs in the past.

Update: It's not really what I had in mind. Will blog about my FeedFlare later.
