I could think of nothing else.&lt;br /&gt;I couldn't find instructions on how to make the blocks using the traditional, hand-sewn method anywhere online.&lt;br /&gt;I had to resort to &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/Encyclopedia-Classic-Patterns-Patricia-Wilens/dp/0848724747/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1256832503&amp;sr=1-1"&gt;a book&lt;/a&gt;. I just covered the rest with new fabric and ribbon and glued new buttons on.&lt;br /&gt;I used thumb tacks to secure the fabric and ribbon.
