For Our local friends, wanted to let you know that our gluten free bakery treats are now available at one of your favorite South Tampa Spots, Daily Eats located at 901 South Howard Avenue, Tampa. When you don’t want to wait to order treats directly from our website or via phone. You can now enjoy them locally at Daily Eats. We will be changing up the offerings on  a weekly basis and are open to suggestions as to what kind of treats you would like to find there! Be on the look out for a few more spots around town where you can enjoy our delicious gluten free and dairy free baked goods!

This beautiful rosette frosted cake and cupcakes were baked by my lovely friend Mandy from Cottowood Cupcakes. The flavor was coconut cake with pineapple filling and cream cheese frosting. My favorite cake is Hawaiian princess so this was great! We had Jenny from Craft that Party create for us a custom Audrey Hepburn Peg doll who is so adorable and glamorous she now permanently sits at my office desk! I styled the cake using a fondant scallop “Dahling” medallion from the talented Lynlee from Lynlee’s Petite Cakes. We used a smaller version of these medallions as an accent on our signature drink glasses as well. I added some strand of pearls and faux diamonds to play up the glamour!

This is our gorgeous signature drink whipped up by our amazing bartender Laura! They were delish and so beautiful with the custom fondant “Dahling” medallion from Lynlee’s Petite Cakes.

These fabulous custom chocolate dipped oreos were made by the lovely Maria from Love & Sugar Kisses. I mean those bows are absolutely swoon worthy. We even have a 3D little black dress ones. Everyone said they were amazing… I was to slow to get one before they were devoured!

These delicious soft blue macarons were made by none other than Mindy from Creative Juice. My dear friend has actually published a macaron book which is available for pre-order! It looks amazing!

I only store bought a few items to finish off my dessert table for this party including, chocolate dipped pretzel bowties, white fluffy meringues, the chocolate coffee cups from Wholefoods and the blue wrapped chocolate mints from Trader Joes that I embellished with black and white ribbons. Yes, the baker did not bake a single thing for this party because I was too busy crafting and styling. I will share more on both on the next post.

I chose to do dramatic black and white with pops of a gorgeous robin’s egg blue. My inspiration piece was a huge Audrey Hepburn print on canvas that hangs over my desk which I purchased at Ikea. I watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s as well as Sabrina’s for at least a dozen times because I wanted to pick up significant details to play up at this party. i was fortunate enough to get to work with the highly sought-after and uber talented Loralee Lewis! Not only did she also love Audrey Hepburn as much as I do, but she was also super excited to design custom invitation just for me!

For the invitations we chose a bold black fancy scallop invitation with white lettering and a colorful striped back side of the invitation to tie in our accent color. Loralee Lewis Designs, creates the invites and also prints them in house using the most gorgeous and luxurious paper you can imagine! She did the entire invitation suite as well as all of our signage and labels to bring everything together beautifully. I always take a lot of time in choosing and designing my party invitations and coordinating papers because I think they are so important and really set the tone for the entire event!

To capture this fabulous party we had the talents of Fiorella Image Studio to photograph and document every detail of this glamorous party. We even had a fun photobooth for everyone to enjoy ( we will get into that in one of our next posts).

4. I made these beautiful Valentine’s Cake pops which are completely Gluten free and Vegan as well. The recipe is simple but requires a lot of steps. So for that I refer you to the queen of cake pops Bakerella for the how-to-instructions, here.

5. This year I saw these adorable free printables from Hostess With The Mostess and I knew these are the ones I would giving out to all of my Valentines! There is a pairing with donuts and coffee, one with Pie and whipped cream, another with peanut butter and jelly (love) and my fave milk and cookies! My son who practically lives on peanut butter and jelly will definitely get the PB&J one in his lunchbox! I opted to print them out on sticker paper and stick them on to glassine bags! My boys will get the cookies ones because that’s what they love Mommy’s cookies and my other Valentines will get some cute heart-shaped donuts! If you are one of my recipients just act surprised, ok?  The plain white coffee cups with lids are from my fave Garnish. I embellished them with velvet ribbon and some pink poms, you didn’t think I’d just use a plain old cup, did ya?

My inspiration for this table was my white Christmas tree which I decorated with all silver and gold ornaments. To embellish the cocoa mugs, I took silver and gold ribbon and tied them on the handle of the mugs. I then garnished them with some vegan white chocolate dipped spoons and some soft baked Enjoy Life Foods gingerbread spice cookies with a swirl of icing and silver sprinkles. The hot cocoa was made with organic rice milk, some unrefined sugar and pure hot cocoa powder.
