Welcome the the world Selah Jean!

About 1:30 in the morning on Thursday October 22nd I awoke up with contractions and knew our little baby was on his or her way. So this was the one day I was not ready to have a baby. My mom was schedule to come in Friday she had been there for the birth of Anyssa and Luke. She was like a coach and helped my through having them two with out an epidural. I just had to have her there and was certain the baby would wait:) Thursday was also the only day we didn't have someone to watch Luke and stay the night with him. Sadly no kids under 12 where allowed in the delivery and postpartum rooms this year because of the H1N1. So with these factors Thursday was not a good day....but babies have a mind of their own:)

The labor went pretty fast and intense. When I was dilated to 7 I decided to try the epidural and I was sure glad I did. It was great! What a different experience than the birth of my other two. I am glad I had a chance to experience child labor both ways. My Doctor was there and he had me help pull her our once her head was out and laid her on me right away which was amazing! Anyssa was able to be in the delivery room which was really memorable. At 11:00 am exactly little Selah Jean (pronounced Say-la) was born. Man where Mike and I surprised we had a girl. We both where certain it was a boy:) Ha, Ha, Ha! Selah is the perfect addition to our family! I wanted to share some photos of Selah's birthday. I can't believe she is all ready two weeks old today! Camille was able to come and take some great pictures for us, thanks a ton! My mom came in Friday morning early and these are some of hers and a few of them I took in the hospital room. Enjoy there is allot!

Meet Derek and Karey! The first word that comes to mind when describing this adorable couple is LOVE. The way they look at eachother and connect like no one else in the world is around is the stuff you only see in movies. Truely amazing. They had a truley unique wedding at The Phoenix Zoo. Let The Games Begin

Today is October 16th the official start of guessing what and when I will be having my baby. My good friend Brandi had a little baby shower for me in the beginning of September and made the cute chart shown above. People just had to guess what day and what gender and they win a cool prize. Pretty fun:) So is it a girl or is it a boy...that is my BIG question. I am dying to find out! Below is the only gender specific clothing I own for Baby October.

So cute...I love baby clothes! But that has been the hardest of not knowing the gender picking out clothes. I can't wait to go shopping after the baby arrives. I had Camille come over and snap a few belly shots of me to have for the baby book. Here are just a few of those shots.

Many of you probably recognize this fabulous person! Meet Camille she has been helping me as an assistant and second photographer while Mike was gone on photo shoots and at weddings. She is amazing and am so grateful for her help. She is wonderful with people, very fun, and super creative. She will be helping out allot the next two months since I am having a baby soon and have a few wedding planned and some other sessions. I finally had a minute to formally introduce her.

We decided to do a fun photo shoot with us two awhile back in April. The top picture is her favorite but here are a few I liked:)

We decided to take some silly ones of us two! You know the ones where you hold the camera up and take a picture yourself...love those!

Bring on the Sunshine!

What is that old saying...when it rains it pours? Well that is a good phrase to describe my life since I have been back from Texas. The sunshine is just starting to come through the clouds. These clouds and rain have been full of good, crazy, busy times. I got back from Texas the end of July and Mike returned home the second week of August. From that time we have moved in 100 degree weather, remodel (which is still a work in progress), Mike and Anyssa started school, Mike coaching football started right when he got back, and we are trying to get ready for a baby in about 5 weeks. And living in Phoenix rain is rare so it just so happened one of the many nights of moving it started to pour on us! Talk about crazy! The streets where flooded and everything was literally dumped in my living room.

But now things are on the more calm side. I am finally getting back to a normal schedule but it won't be for long....baby October will be arriving in about 5 weeks. I say baby October because we don't know if the gender is a boy or a girl. That has been hard and that is a blog for a different day!!!

So that is the Gunderson update:) Oh yeah and Luke loves his monkey umbrella now he wants rain boots, a rain hat, and a rain jacket...he doesn't quit understand living in Phoenix we just don't use that stuff.

Handsome Baby Dawsyn

Meet the adorable Dawsyn. He was born July 18th in Austin, TX. He is my new little nephew!!! I was so happy to be there to see his arrival. I just love babies, they are so peaceful and such a miracles. Seeing baby Dawsyn made me so excited to have our new baby in a few months! I had to have a little newborn session with him before I left:) He is such a precious baby and he is going to be so much bigger the next time I see him now that my brother lives in Austin also. Here are some of those fun pictures.

Well I Am Back And Starting The Next Adventure!

Wow it feels good to be back home in super hot Arizona! I had a great summer at my moms in Austin. I was so blessed to be able to see Mike on the weekends and be around family while he was gone. I can't believe how little I blogged though....I have so much to share so I am making a promise to myself to blog, blog, blog as much as I can!

Just what is this next adventure? Take a look at this snap shot and take a guess.....

Yep we are diving in to potty training with Luke!!!! I went out and hopefully covered all the essentials to tackle the adventure:) Wish me luck!

An AirForce Graduation

Many of you know Mike joined the Air Guard in the Fall of 2008. He left for Basic Training April 21st and now is an official Airman! His graduation was so much fun, a two day event. His parents where able to come which was really nice. Mike really works hard at everything he does and I am so proud of him.   There is a lot of pictures in this post but everyone tells a story, I had a hard time narrowing them down.

Day One was the Airman Run follow by The Coin Ceremony. The Airmen run is where the run a mile in unison for everyone to cheer them on. It is the first time we get a glimpse of Mike in 9 weeks...so there was much anticipation. Here are a few of us waiting to get a sneak peak of Mike.

I was trying to get a picture of all the feet when the men started running by...about 300 or more of them.

and here is Mike...he had to stand by some really tall men in his flight even though he is 5'11 they tower over him.

After the run was The Coin Ceremony and right after this Mike was released for a few hours to spend time with us.

In this picture you can see Mike...he is the second one helping with passing out the coins...one of his jobs as the Dorm Room Chief.

I love these two pictures. Luke was so excited to see Mike, his eyes just twinkled and he had a permanent smile on his face. It was so sweet.

The next day, Friday, they had an official graduation and a parade with all the graduating men walking by. It was really amazing. Lackland Air Force Base has graduations 50 weeks out of the year...that is a lot of airmen every year.

Just wanted to touch base and leave a little memo for those who are wondering why I haven't blogged in awhile. I have been busy, busy here in Texas. I plan on posting plenty of pictures from my trip here soon. I am also busy designing albums from my busy spring wedding schedule:) (fun,fun) I will be in Texas until the end of July. I am around just not online as much as I would like to be! So please don't forget about me!!!!! Thought I would post a funny picture of how crazy I feel! This is my daughter Anyssa and her Aunt Sara!
